Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,

Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
With April, an activity check has arrived for members to do! Please post on the AC and tag all your accounts, including WIPs and OOC accounts. Failure to post on this AC will result in your accounts being marked inactive or deleted. Please note, due to a late start, the due date for this check has been adjusted for one time and one time only.
Oblivious to William's belated realization of the context of his words, Nolan had unfortunately missed the red hue accompanying his cheeks, though he did hear the stammer of his embarrassed thanking. This caused for an amused but genuine growing of a smile, uplifting one side higher than the other. Ever since meeting William, he found the young man to be endearing and unique. Even the way they meet was quite different and one encounter he'd never forgot. A part of him wondered if they would see each other again in this city, if by chance. He had yet to gain a grasp on how populated the area truly was. [break][break]
Thankfully, the fair-haired Fae went along with his game. Nolan was uncertain how he'd otherwise be able to put off such a reveal... without being suspicious. He disliked being dishonest and didn't want to lie to William when the man had been truthful with him. He, however, was unsure if he even wanted William to know what he was... it was selfish, but also embedded deeply within him as a fear after the loss and emotional torment he was put through. The pouting in William's gaze lightened Nolan's own expression for a moment, before his eyes instantly widened as the distance between them was shortened greatly.[break][break]
They were very close... he could nearly see a hundred miniscule golden glitters whirling about the aura surrounding him that he hadn't seen before. Such an aura engulfed the both of them, surrounding the two in a brilliant shimmer.... matched with the intense shade of the Fae's emerald eyes that attentively was studying him, Nolan was actually overwhelmed and made sheepish-- which was a big rarity for him. He couldn't help but to nervously chuckle, raising a hand to rub at the back of his neck as an uncertain smile took place. His eyes shifted off towards the side while laughing, "A-ah, nope, no Fae in my family tree as far as I'm aware of..!" [break][break]
He cleared his throat. "I'll give you the first hint--" Thoughts circulated in a compromising rotation of what hint to unveil. He didn't want to give away too much but he had to give him something. His palm lowered away from his neck, light brown eyes meeting with William's. His smile left him with only the hinted remnants at the corner of his lips, an almost serious demeanor shrouding him. Twinkles of gold continued their intense roaming around them. "When I was a kid, I had dreams of someday being one with the sun," His tone was smoother than his previous playful and extroverted comments. It may have been symbolic, if not even bordering on the territory of being poetic more so than factual in essence, but Nolan couldn't make it too easy on him.... and the statement was in fact true. He had always dreamed of flying so high, he could swim along the clouds... but little did that young boy know he would grow up to be like Icarus who melted from the very sun he aspired to shine like.

Nolan was feeling accomplished with himself and the situation for not only being able to help a stranger out without expecting anything in return, but also for having enough to pay for all that he bought. Fifteen seemed like a generous total for all that he had checked out to be honest, but Nolan didn't put two and two together. He didn't have a reason to, he heard 'fifteen' clearly!
Well... apparently he didn't. The cashier told him she required an extra thirty five, of which lifted both of Nolan's eyebrows. "But I thought it was fifteen dollars, not...." He begun before needing to pause to do his mental math. The boy lifted a hand, slowly counting on his fingers while looking upwards at nothing in particular. Fifteen.... thirty-five.... that meant fifty dollars. ".... Fifty--! Fifty dollars?" Nolan blurted out upon this realization, Fifty being a stark different from Fifteen, but before he could say or do anything else the white-haired man changed his mind about the purchase.
As the cashier asked if the man was certain, Nolan begun digging through his wallet to see if he had enough to buy his own groceries alongside the stranger's. However, he had no such luck, and didn't have much left to spare.... darn it, why couldn't he have been wealthier? "Hold on a sec, I can still help you with some of it," He tried to offer with attempts of stopping him, but the guy was already on the move, exiting the line and heading towards the exit. Nolan twisted his mouth to the side with confliction.... and determination. Without stalling any time, he looked to the cashier and set his basket down. "However much fifteen dollars covers for his items, I'll buy, okay? And I'm paying for whats in the basket too,"
A few minutes passed before Nolan, with two plastic bags, bolted in the direction he saw the guy leaving. When he exited through the sliding glass doors, cool air immediate hit his face and sharply inhaled through his lungs as his breathe visibly left his mouth. He glanced around, quickly and persistently searching for the young man... before he could have swore he saw the distinct white-and-pink hued head of his hair. "HEY! White-haired guy!" He called out, waving one arm up with the plastic bags being joined with one hand, before he started jogging in his direction in hopes of catching him.

The reveal of he, himself, not being human elevated William's excitement. His intrigue was visible in his body language, his face, his tone. This guy was pretty interested and Nolan, while being fairly flattered by how this young man showed such excitement over it, felt a subtle subconscious pull. A pull of remembrance of the fact that what he actually was... wasn't anything to rejoice over. It was a reminder as well of the glory he once received from others for the white pure feathers upon his fact, having turned to ash. His smile lessened but beneath it he hid his actual burdens well. It was a mechanism for survival and a reality that no matter how much he tried to push away and ignore, he had to accept. [break][break]
His hands remained warming themselves inside his sweatshirt pockets, standing at the corner of the street near where a stop sign had been located albeit no traffic surfaced around them. William laughed from his joke, mildly boosting Nolan's mood as his smile once more warmed. This guy seemed like a nice person. Had the world been different without Fallen Angels being targeted by bounty hunters, and ridiculed by those whom despised one who'd fallen from grace, he may have been more willing to share his full self with him.... he missed being completely honest with others.[break][break]
William shared that he was a Fae-kin, having been born human before being turned by the Fae in order to save his life. Nolan gave a listening small nod, catching the hesitancy in his voice. "That must have been rough to go through. I'm sorry to hear you struggled with illness as a child," He encouraged sympathetically, and with open-mindedness, before his gaze warmed, "But, hey, that Fae magic must have done wonders. You're here now, and look pretty damn healthy and good if you ask me," The rituals behind turning into a Faekin were intense with some being more gruesome than others. He learned about it during his summer training campers, along with several other species origins. [break][break]
He didn't know the full-story of William's turning but didn't prod him about it. Nor did he judge him. To save one's life sometimes took drastic measures and Nolan had felt what it was like to be unfairly shunned. He would never want to make someone else's feel the same way. He understood it.[break][break]
After expressing his own species, the fair-haired gentleman reasonably desired for a similar reciprocation. Immediately his stomach felt heavy and worry gripped at his heart, arising an uncertain hint of emotion behind the mask of his friendly smile. His gaze panned off towards the street. "O-oh, me? Well..." He begun, almost stalling for time as he mulled over his thoughts. Leaning back on his heels, the young man rocked on his feet before impishly grinning as a game came to mind that served as a defensive mechanism against his inner conflicts. "Hmmmm, how about, we make this a game. Take a guess!" He decided. With a side-tilt of his head to look in William's direction, he added, "You get two hints,"

As the sun continued dim, the gold shimmer dazzling in the air around William intensified. It was impossible to ignore... impossible for Nolan to turn a blind eye to. He could hardly believe it, his light brown eyed gaze turning in wonderment and surprise, but before he could say more the other young man had already proceeded to give him an answer. [break][break]
'They' told him that this would happen.... whomever 'they' was.... did he meant the TRS? This is what Nolan could draw up as a conclusion, eyes blinking in fascination at the sight before him. William's energy noticeably became more exciteable as he'd drew himself closer to Nolan with his own shared curiosity about his own magic.[break][break]
Such fascination Nolan felt developed into a smile crossing his lips, hands having found themselves in the warmth of his sweatshirt pockets. Being called strong was quite the compliment that he took to heart. "Ah, I appreciate the flattery, but you're correct! I'm not human," He answered him, finding no point in dodging around the fact. William connected the dots and he wouldn't deny the fact... though at the back of his mind, he realized he needed to be careful how much of his magical abilities he showed him. [break][break]
Summoning light was specific to Heaven, and some Earth species... but not those of Hell. If he performed any shadow magic, that would be a clear sign that he was Fallen, and Nolan didn't want to reveal such an identity. It posed as a threat and since moving to Lorsette, being anonymous with a clean slate was what felt best.[break][break]
"And, I'm guessing you're not human either," Nolan went on before a charming gleam shifted in his eyes with a developing playfulness within his gaze, "Usually humans don't sparkle so enchantingly as you are right now. I have to admit, it's quite pretty, but I was beginning to wonder if a terror somehow managed to hit me in the head and was causing my vision to go crazy on me,"
[attr="class","onlytimeright"]
[attr="class","onlytimeimg"]
[attr="class","onlytimelyric1"]sure as the sun will cross the sky
The initial response from the distressed white-haired young man was uncertainty. Nolan couldn't blame him for it, really... they were strangers and who was to say that there wasn't some ulterior motive behind his offer? Which, of course, there wasn't But he could still sympathize with him if the guy ended up declining. Nolan did hope he would say yes, though... he wanted to pay forward a kind deed whenever the opportunity for it arose.
What Nolan found odd was how he rose the hood of his sweatshirt after speaking, however. He was unable to hide the expressiveness of one eyebrow slowly raising, wondering if he was trying to hide from him now, too.... why would he do that? Was he unknowingly giving him a creepy look of some sort when he approached him? He glanced over his shoulder, seeing the line of customers growing, and his eyebrow lowered by the other as he looked towards the other male once more.
It was then when he agreed to allow him to help pay, saying that he would try to pay him back for his troubles. A smile brightened Nolan's gaze from hearing such words and he was glad, right then and there, that he said something. "No need to worry about that. The amount total isn't anything crazy," He insisted chivalrously, stepping right up beside the young man with his own wallet open, digging around for some money. "I should have enough, aaaand- I do!" Triumphantly, he held out the payment towards the cashier with a charming smile, "Here you go, m'am," Little did he know that the total was Fifty Dollars, not the Fifteen that he held out. 'Fifty' sounded an awful lot like 'Fifteen' from a distance.
Groceries. They were a necessity in life and the primary way of getting food unless if someone lived off the grid.... or came from some kind of tribal traditional background... that was a thing people did, right? Nolan couldn't relate to either types of lifestyle. He came from the average small town, and lived a pretty average American life as far as he was concerned, minus having been born an Angel and the special training camps he went away for during the summers growing up.[break][break]
Anyway, groceries were a necessity that others needed to go out and buy, often bringing all kinds of walks of life into the same market area. Earlier in the week it was Jared, one of his roommates, who did the shopping for them and now it was Nolan's turn. They didn't have any chips and salsa, and that was what all of them were craving for their weekend video game-a-thon they were planning on having. With his shopping basket, Nolan grabbed a few different things off the list Jared texted him. Chips, check. Salsa, check. Liter of soda, check... Nolan browsed along a few different aisles and tried to also check the prices of each item. None of his friends, including himself, had a lot of money to spend and while they had their cravings they still needed to be careful. [break][break]
When he was finished, the tall teen chose one of the check-out lanes. A young man with white hair ended up being the person he stood behind while waiting. A casual black sweatshirt worn over a dark grey slim-fitting T-shirt, slim jeans, and sneakers were what his attire consisted of, his hood down by his shoulders and fingers beginning to send a text to his friends to let them know he was almost done shopping. When it was time to move up in the line, he slipped his phone back into his sweatshirt pocket, inching the cart forward. He could see from a greater view that the young man before him had pink-tipped hair.... he never saw anything like that before. An idle mind allowed for simple thoughts of wondering if the guy dyed it that way himself to enter. [break][break]
Moments passed before a dilemma seemed to happened. The guy had difficulty finding his wallet to pay for what he bought... that was pretty much anyone's nightmare with shopping at the grocery store. Not having enough money. Nolan immediately felt bad for him, and could see from over his shoulder that a line was already starting to get backed-up with waiting customers. He had yet to help a stranger out today... and when seeing the possible mess starting to unfold, Nolan decided to step in to help him out. He learned from his father to offer a stranger a helping hand every now and then without expecting anything in return, never knowing what the other person could be going through. Sometimes, kindness from a stranger could go a long way, and Nolan definitely wanted to take the opportunity to do that.[break][break]
"Excuse me," He began with a warm smile crossing his features as he stepped around his cart to put himself closer to the cashier and the white-haired man, "Would you mind if I offered to pay for your items? I have enough to help you out," His voice was friendly and kind, not wanting to make the other individual feel bad about anything, nor wanting to place him in a worse position that made him feel uncomfortable.

William's bodily language, the way he rubbed the back of his neck and speaking of how it was more so out of safety that he was able to be among the TRS, initially came across as modesty to Nolan. His expression transitioned into a more so calm demeanor as he listened to the fair-haired gentleman continue explaining something.... but unfortunately, by the time the young man had went into further depth regarding his situation, the casting glimmer of gold floating about him had already distracted Nolan. [break][break]
A wave interrupted his growing uncertainty about what exactly he was seeing, and Nolan blinked his eyes before giving them a firm rub as though to fix whatever tricks his vision was playing on him. With a couple more blinks, he refocused his gaze on William and offered him an apologetic smile. His footsteps had significantly slowed but not stopped in their walking.[break][break]
"Yeah, I'm fine. Sorry about that...!" He couldn't help but... to wonder what the heck was going on, as only a second later he was still seeing the same exact gold-fleck hues sparkling around him. It was nearly reminiscent of what one would imagine pixie dust to look like. "I just thought.... I saw something.." He slowly begun to speak, before an eyebrow raised in puzzlement, "Is the air around you sparkling...?"
[attr="class","onlytimeright"]
[attr="class","onlytimeimg"]
[attr="class","onlytimelyric1"]sure as the sun will cross the sky
From the corner of Nolan's eye, he could see the pouting expression unfolding upon William's face in due part of his refusal for accepting any true payment for rescuing him. The corners of his lips turned up in amusement, amused by seeing how expressive the other young man was.... and also how he was insistent that there must have been something he could do to thank him. Nolan didn't offer him an answer.[break][break]
At least, not yet. He allowed for the topic to subtly drop as they begun their venture onward and while he didn't mention as such, he would keep William's offer in mind. Only because he could see how important it was for the fair-haired boy as opposed to a mere obligatory offer.[break][break]
Nolan ensured he didn't walk too far ahead of William, subconsciously checking over his shoulder when noticing that the other had slowed in his walking from the sound of the stray can being caught in their path. He presumed that William was desiring to be led where his home neighborhood resided, or one of the shopping centers for an evening meal. He was not expecting for him to ask about the location of the TRS Building. That was enough for Nolan's eyes to widen in bafflement as he full-n turned his head to look over to William. [break][break]
"You live at the TRS Headquarters?" He asked in shock, mouth slightly dropping, before an idea clicked in his mind. He snapped his fingers in realization, grinning while stating, "Ah! You must be one of the specialists there! That's so cool! I always wanted to be an Agent for them," A soft, day-dreaming sigh left Nolan as his smile that had shown with a vivacious encouragement begun to hint at.... melancholy. That dream had died.... along with the person he used to be. Nolan didn't dwell on it, giving a slight shake of his head as his smile softened upon William whilst they embarked into the sunset-lit streets, away from the gloominess of the alley ways. "Well, by any means, that takes a lot of dedication. I fully respect you for dedicating your life to such a cause," He added in sincerity, admiring how this guy not only accomplished something that was rather difficult for being among the TRS.... but also had given his life to helping others. [break][break]
As the sunset cast upon them, a subtle yet enchanting glimmer occasionally shimmered around William. Nolan didn't pay much mind to it at first as the mere lighting of the streets could have cast such an illusion.... but he did notice it all the more after seeing how the shimmer of gold continued fading in, and out around him. Nolan couldn't help but to stare at the surrounding aura... trying to process if that meant this boy was a human whom had some kind of potion or charm in act, or... if he were something else. The golden glimmer completely distracted him from answering William's actual question.

The soft chuckle sounding from his companion ignited a greater smile upon Nolan's face, feeling accomplished with arising such a reaction from him. He tilted his head to look up at the young man whom was no longer a stranger, for he offered his name in return. William Farris... an elegant name that matched the soft features and lean-sculpted build of the fair-haired individual. [break][break]
"It's a pleasure meeting you as well, unexpectedly, under this sunset sky," He answered him with a gallant playfulness. With that, he resumed his natural posture with a more so casual smile replacing his previous chivalrous one. Being able to place a name on his face was something Nolan appreciated. After all, being new to a large city meant he had ample anonymous faces within his recent recollection. Now, William would not be among them. [break][break]
A soft releasing sigh left William before he spoke with such sincerity that Nolan couldn't help but to notice it. The way he composed himself, his mannerisms, his politeness.... none of these qualities were common. At least, not where he was from. Before tragedy destroyed the previous life he had, he was seldom without friendly faces and groups of friends to hang out with, but none had quite carried themselves in such a manner as William. There was something classy about him... or was the proper word sophisticated? Nolan wasn't certain, but he definitely noticed there was something different about him. In a good way.[break][break]
The softness of William's smile was met with a kind gaze from Nolan, whom rose a hand towards the back of his neck. "Don't worry about it. I'm not expecting anything in return from you," He tried to assure with a light chuckle, before checking the streets from where they stood to make sure no unexpected traffic-- or terrors-- were nearby, "The company and knowing you're not still trapped back there is payment enough. Seriously," With a couple observational glances, he started walking up the street but not without turning to face William, stepping backwards with a slight gesturing wave of his hand, "Let's head this way. There's a crossroads somewhere up ahead that we can use to get you where you need to be," With a swift spin on his heels Nolan was once more facing forward while walking. He ensured he kept fairly close in distance with William just as he felt a protector should be. One foot brushed against a stray soda can, rolling it off towards the shadows beginning to loom from the setting sky. "Where is it exactly you need to be downtown?" He asked as an afterthought.

When the young man caught up with him, Nolan came to a complete halt himself, light brown eyes patiently and attentively befalling the fair-haired gentleman. The adrenaline rush spiked his own heart beat but for himself, he hadn't been the one targeted by his lonesome. He was the rescuer, the one whom merely heard a distraught shout and followed the direction it came from. The other male was put through more than himself just now, and Nolan felt bad for him. No matter what he may have been up to, being harassed in a cold and quiet side of town like this must have been frightening... and Nolan was more than willing to stand by him as protection while he caught his breath. [break][break]
The wheel of light faded upon the panic rush of the scene simmering, and Nolan returned his hands into the warmth of his hooded sweatshirt pockets while he took a few steps closer by where the other male stationed himself up against the wall to help keep watch for any enemies. He thanked him, bringing Nolan's gaze to once more meet with his. A smile touched his features from his gratitude that hadn't been expected but still was appreciated. "No need to thank me. I'm just glad you're okay now and that I was able to help you," He answered in a warm tone, one side of his smile uprising before he himself joined the other by resting up against the wall.[break][break]
One knee bent while the other remained straight from where he stood. It still seemed as though no one else was around.... he didn't want to think of what could have happened if he'd decided to detour through a different block. This poor guy would have been left completely on his own to fend for himself while being outnumbered.[break][break]
The question he asked was a good one but unfortunately Nolan couldn't answer. "I wish I could tell you that they didn't, but I honestly have no idea what terror activity is like around these parts," He admitted, his eyes continuing to watch for any activity within the alley, "I just moved here earlier this week," The nature of the fair-haired individual's question eluded to the idea that he may have been a newcomer here too, though before Nolan could ask him, he admitted a proposition that arose Nolan's eyebrows in a look of surprise. He turned to look at him, light brown eyes meeting with emerald hues. "You in need of an escort? Allow me to introduce myself--" He obliged with a light-heart aura surrounding his words, matched with an inviting smile. He leaned away from the wall, facing the other with an exaggerated gentlemanly bow as to lighten up the mood... and hopefully ease the other from their nerves. "Nolan Hawthorne, at your service for security and protection while on your evening stroll,"

The other guy's slight laughing, and casual attitude towards the clumsy incident had admittedly made Nolan feel better about the whole scenario collapsing right next to him. Had he been alone, and the only one leaning against the dragon display, he would have felt so embarrassed that he'd never be able to show his face here again... now that would have been a bummer. He had barely even lived in Lorsette for a week![break][break]
He went about scooping as many comics into his arms as possible, standing up to help stack them on the desk counter so that they would be out of harm's way on the floor. The employee's comment cause Nolan to slow down in his speedy tidying. He paused with a few comics in his hands, glancing towards the other man when he asked if he were still getting a book. In a way, he felt obligated to.... since... he still needed a job. If he bought something, maybe that could help make amends with the accident?[break][break]
"Oh, yeah, for sure," He replied with an eager smile, setting a couple of the books he was holding onto the pile at the desk while keeping one for himself, "How about you? You getting anything?" "When you two are ready, we'll check out your books over here," The employee said while another was currently kneeling down to try and lift the dragon up. While the statue wasn't terribly heavy, it was still tall enough to cause some struggle... when Nolan saw the employee having difficulty, he fused a small hovering whirlpool of light magic underneath the statue. Slowly, it begun levitating upwards, startling the employee as the girl stepped back and watched it maneuvering with the light whirlpool sparkling alongside it.

The blonde's response was one that struck Nolan with the observation that the other individual was befuddled by the terror's altercation. It made sense, the guy had been cornered by the creeps without anyone else around to help him. An eyebrow uplifted upon Nolan's face as his light brown eyes gazed upon him, having caught up and slowed in his running to maintain a pace that matched the other male so that they may be venturing onward beside each other. He wondered what the blonde sir in distress meant by terrors following him, but ultimately assumed he meant that tonight, he'd been unfortunate enough to have terrors spotting him in the streets and chasing him as opposed to this being a reoccurring issue. [break][break]
"Hunters probably aren't necessary. There's only two terrors, one down and the other trying to get away from us," He tried to explain, his tone calm but hinted with the spike of adrenaline from the attacks. Nolan didn't reciprocate the feelings of being in distress from possible danger, though he himself had survived living on the streets a number of years ago during the roughest chapter of his life... when he was disowned by not only his family, but his small hometown for his white wings turning black. He had experience with terrors but none that rendered him feeling helpless in their presence. [break][break]
Nolan begun slowing in his running, albeit not stopping, the spinning wheel of zapping light between his hands starting to slowly dim. "Unless if you saw a hoard of them somewhere nearby, I think we may be able to handle everything just fine," He spoke out to him with the intentions of easing his frantic anxious state. The hood upon his head remained, with the illumination of light highlighting the features of his face, an easygoing and friendly exterior of his expression showing towards the blonde.

Once the light spear met with his target, its energy launched at the terror with a powerful slam. The spear turned into sparks of swirling light before dispersing upon a successful hit, bringing a confident gleam to Nolan's features. His aim was flawless and the fair-haired victim also wasn't caught up in the spear's searing magic. Score! [break][break] However, he soon could see that two terror were attacking the fallen man.... one of them decidedly fleeing the scene upon Nolan's attack. He quickly turned his head to watch as it zipped off as though the monster was running away from him... which admittedly added on to the sensation of feeling victorious with his attempts of helping an innocent and outnumbered civilian.[break][break] He begun harnessing another surge of light energy between his palms, glaring at the remaining terror. "now time to finish you off..." He murmured to himself, but to his shock, the sir in distress had practically thrown himself onto his feet and was running towards him. "W-woah, hey, stay out of the way I don't want to hit you with this--!" He started to warn but the young man had other plans. He grabbed one of Nolan's sleeves, tugging on him to start running in the direction he was going. [break][break] A zzz sounded off from the motion wobbling the growing spinning wheel of light within his grasp, though it didn't disappear as he stumbled forward in the direction the boy was tugging him. "Wait a sec--" He quickly told him, turning around whilst running and sending the flurry of light blazing at the remaining terror, successfully knocking it down and rolling across the ground. The sight brought a grin to Nolan's face, briefly punching the air in triumph before turning forwards once more and this time cooperating in running right with the guy on his own. "Okay, now we can go! How'd you get two terrors on your tail?"
