This is a little guide to help those of you out planning to make gifted character. Essentially this will give you guidelines for what we believe is acceptable for abilities here on The Duality of Man. Hopefully some of your questions about abilities maybe answered here, however, if not feel free to shoot some questions at the staff~! Lists and bans will be edited as time goes on, so please, check here again before making a new character. Members are not limited to what is on the strong & weak abilities list, they are more so to work as guidelines and give an idea to power level. If you need power ideas we recommend using the Superpower Wiki. For the power lists we did a quick glimpse through the site to allow you to get an idea for power levels. If you need assistance or are concerned your power is too powerful, then feel free to speak with staff anytime. We're always happy to help~!
Commonly these types of abilities are more offensive/defensive based, however, some can be support if it gives the character a significant advantage. Oftentimes, strong abilities are most manipulations, powerful regeneration (healing & rapid regeneration), the enhancement to physical qualities (speed, strength), protective shields. All strong abilities should have weaknesses, the more power the greater the weaknesses. If the ability does not have a weakness or cannot be given a significant enough weakness, it is too powerful. Abilities are in alphabetical order, as members join we will add their abilities here.
Access Manipulation: only acceptable if the character CANNOT open dimensional portals, Hell/Heaven's gate, time doors and other game-breaking concepts.

Regenerative Healing Factor
These types of abilities are mostly support base and can assist your character or other characters in many ways. Although they do not usually assist in creating physical damage, they can help a person in numerous other ways. You can have as many weak abilities as you want but remember you have a maximum of three abilities. These abilities should have some minor weaknesses, with the exception of those that have little effect. These weaknesses can be small things, like a time limit or energy consumption.
Eye Colour Manipulation
These abilities are basically ones that would break the plot/role-play or are simply too powerful to be allowed. Some of these are also added for the sake limiting confusion (ex. literacy manipulation allows you manipulate books if it is permanent then... well... that will get confusing). Anything italicized is allowed under certain circumstances. Essentially, banned powers are things that are deemed godly or render your character invincible.
Immortality: allowed if it only ceases the ageing process &/or makes the gifted less susceptible to illness. weak ability.
Peak Human Condition
Probability Manipulation: allowed if it only pertains to gambling. weak ability.
