Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. [attr="class","aodmain"] Before following everybody back to the castle, Noah observed the efforts to move Ethan. The Dark King wished to assure the transport would operate smoothly, especially since the situation involved his nephew. There was a brief nod provided when his guards stated they believed the frozen blond was not injured. Relief carried a portion of the weight from his shoulders, comfort surrounding him similar to a warm blanket. All they were required to accomplish was thawing Ethan from the thick block of ice, which was oddly soothing. There were worse situations to handle, thus melting away the ice from the dragon's body was not as overwhelming as it appeared. When a guard stepped forward, hand reaching out in plans of teleporting Ethan to the healer's sanction where they could formulate a plan to thaw him and assure he would be alright. A blinding light enveloped the guard and the ice sculpture, the pair disappeared once the light faded. A soft sigh escaped Noah's lips, his grey eyes glancing around the forest, attention returning when a guard asked him questions. The inquiries were basic, regarding where he would go and whether or not he was wounded.
[break][break]
"I will speak with the healer... If there is a way to make the ice melt faster, I would like to hear it. Otherwise, I am not injured," the Dark King explained, eyes skimming over his guards. "Anybody here injured? I will teleport you to the healer's area myself."
[break][break]
Once he received his answer, Noah would request any injured guards to grab his hands and follow behind him; should he be able, he would teleport them all to the castle. When prepared, he moved towards the darkness manifested from the rain-bearing clouds, the man planning on taking his guards to the dry location. Through the darkness, he led the guards, soon walking into the healer's room as plans were made on how to dissolve the ice. A simple nod was given in the response, Noah leaving briefly to accomplish double check if all his guards. Considering Ethan was recently kidnapping them, the wraith needed to assure every member of his guard was accounted for. Names were called over the radio, Noah walking through the halls and surveying the area to assure nobody else was inside and there was no damage to the walls. The sounds of his combat addition the boots stomping against the tiled floors, muddy footprints filling the castle because of the increased patrols he recently requested in hopes of avoiding another incident of breaking in. Descriptions of the captain were provided to all guards on patrol, the wraith refusing to allow the horrible man inside the castle while Ethan recovered.
[break][break]
Radio static suddenly interrupted the footsteps, Noah listening as the words echoed through the empty hallway. Immediately, the wraith's eyes widened when the healer stated the prisoner had escaped, implying his nephew was attempting to escape the castle. The nearest shadow was sprinted towards, Noah diving through it to appear outside the healer's quarters. Once he teleported, the wraith's eyes flitted around, promptly noticing Ethan and the guard running behind him; his nephew being stripped down to merely his boxers. He turned a healer, Noah sprinting after him, enhancing his speed in an attempt to catch up to his nephew. Quickly, the navy-haired man was hurrying down the hallway, soon catching him up and sprinting ahead of the chasing guard. Each step carried him closer to Ethan, the Dark King closing the distance between himself and his nephew. Once the distance was closed enough, the Assembly soldier lunged towards the blond, attempting to wrap his arms around him to cease the chase.
"Understood my King." The guard answered in return, of course asked some of the guards stepped forward and the others watched as they went into the shadow with their King, before being teleported. When the healer saw Noah, he explained the hot water melting the ice, not mentioning the stripping of clothes because for him to check for possible wounds, it would be a given that he'd need to see for himself and he wouldn't start tending until Ethan woke up, or at least that had been the plan. He would first tend to the guards, sending them on their way as he waited for the hot water to melt the ice. The guards that had been outside had started patrols, making sure the captain was gone before planning on returning inside for the rest of the day. The radio had gone off, shortly after Ethan had made his escape. They walked down the halls, knowing they'd likely meet with him soon enough, but they weren't expecting the handsome blonde to attempt to ram into them on his exit out.
Upon ramming into them, the guards found themselves laying on their backs before slowly standing up. The guard continued chasing after Ethan but couldn't seem to catch up to him. It had come as somewhat of a surprise when he had seen his King before noticing him use enhanced speed to keep pace with Ethan before leaping towards him. Ethan had found the sudden weight surprising before he fall forward and onto the ground. He struggled to try and free himself from Noah's grip, but the only thing he managed to do was turn from being on his stomach to now being on his back so that he could look at his uncle hovering above him, refusing to get off. "GET OFF OF ME!"

[attr="class","aodmain"] Recapturing Ethan was a top priority, especially considering Noah was uncertain if the healer verified if there were any evident injuries. Furthermore, with the captain lurking somewhere, there were risks his nephew could be murdered by the horrible man who stole his husband from him. The guards attempting to create a barrier in hopes of blocking Ethan from escape, however, they could hardly avoid the consequences which arrived with trying to block the dragon. Unfortunately, the blond rammed into the row of guards, sending them sprawling onto the ground. They landed hard onto their backs, Noah's eyes narrowing because of his nephew's need to harm the guards who worked extensively to protect them. Immediately, the wraith fueled his enhanced speed, allowing him to move faster. Navy hair spread out behind him as he hurried towards his nephew, determined to tackle Ethan to the ground. Hastily, he approached his nephew, speed allowing him to soar down the hallways, easily managing to get behind him. When he lunged out, reaching to wrap his arms around Ethan's waist, using his weight to bring them both to the floor. They toppled down to the ground, Noah keeping a firm grip throughout their fall.
[break][break]
They landed onto the ground, the wraith's fall being broken by his nephew. Quickly, Noah worked towards pinning his nephew, however, the dragon was strong enough to turn over. Eyes were narrowed when Ethan requested him to release him.
[break][break]
"NOT HAPPENING!" Noah shouted back.
[break][break]
Releasing Ethan was impossible, especially since there was still the captain lurking around somewhere. Danger could be anywhere, especially since the dastardly man appeared to be capable of killing his nephew. Access was granted to his enhanced strength, the wraith refusing to lose his nephew in a similar manner. After losing several family members, Noah refused to allow Ethan to risk his life.
Ethan knew he was around the castle somewhere, he just hadn't expected him to be so quick in chasing him down and to make matters worse he didn't even have a guard with him this time. So pinning him to the ground was uncalled for, as was having him stripped down into his boxers into the first place. He struggled under Noah's grip, using enhanced strength to try and shove Noah off of him. "UNCLE GET OFF OF ME!" He snapped, refusing to submit, his cheeks remained pink, having become flustered when he was forced to flee in only boxers. The guards he had rammed into only moments before had stood up from the ground, slow to crowd around them. I don't care how many people I have to pass, I will be free and I will kill that bastard for betraying me. He thought to himself, still struggling in Noah's grip even if he hadn't continued shouting to get off of him.
He couldn't help but notice the guards staring at him, which in turn made him flustered because they knew about him being in his boxers and they were Noah's fling buddies. He wasn't going to be stared at like that, hell no. "QUIT STARING AT ME!" He shouted, the idea of them wanting him was embarrassing. The healer had slowly made his way down the hall, with a tranquilizer, waiting for his King to give the order for him to use it on Ethan, since it was clear he wasn't going to get permission to look over Ethan's for possible wounds. He would be right, Ethan had no plans on being looked over or remaining here, though he would have been a whole lot happier if somebody had kept belongs nearby so that he could be on his way.

[attr="class","aodmain"] Escape from the cold, stone walls of the Dark King's castle was forbidden under the current circumstances, Noah's endless fears consuming him. Leaving their sanction would easily allow the captain to discover his nephew and possible coax him into fully transforming into an untamable beast. Full-fledged dragons were frightening creatures who terrorized villages from their sheer size and intense abilities. Stubborn resolve added fire to Noah's determination, the wraith refusing to budge as he kept Ethan pinned to the floor. Memories of Carter's demise flitted through his mind, the Dark King gritting his teeth. Suddenly, enhanced strength began entering his body. Rescuing his nephew from the horrific consequences of transforming entirely, the wraith refusing to lose another member of his family. Despite only recently becoming acquainted with his nephew, Noah refused to allow the ice dragon to die at the hands of the captain. A loud shout erupted from Ethan's mouth, the exclaim requesting release, but the wraith refused to move. A soft scuffling reached Noah's ears, the guards rising from the tiled floor, although, the Dark King was more concerned about Ethan's well-being.
[break][break]
As his nephew struggled, Noah worked harder to keep the blond beneath him, refusing to allow Ethan to have freedom. People were staring, but the wraith cared little about the eyes locked onto them. Embarrassment became evident, however, it failed to deter the Dark King from his plans. There were more footsteps approaching, Noah's grey eyes flitting towards the healer who held a needle in his hand; tranquillizer. A brief nod was provided to signal the healer to proceed as worries of potential injuries entered his head. Medical attention was crucial for assuring Ethan would be alright, thus the wraith worked harder to keep his nephew still in hopes the healer would be able to tranquillize him.
Ethan couldn't help but continue to grow frustrated the longer Noah was on him, though embarrassment was evident on his face, he refused to allow Noah to keep him down, attempting harder to shove him off of him. There were footsteps coming from down the hall, the man looked somewhat familiar. He didn't know the guy was a healer but he knew that he was the one that had been in the bathroom with him when he had woken from being thawed from his ice sculpture. He chose to keep his focus on Noah as he continued attempting to push him off of him. His uncle had nodded and he couldn't help but feel a great need in finding out what the hell he was planning. It was clear to him that Noah wasn't going to let him go, for what reason, he wasn't sure but he was assuming it was because he attempted to kidnap his guards earlier. The healer had moved closer when given permission to use the tranquilizer on him.
The closer the healer got, the closer he realized that he was about to be overpowered by two men, so he struggled to free one of his arms in the process, at least then he could freeze people. As the healer advanced closer, he caught sight of the tranquilizer in his hand. Upon freeing his arm from Noah's grip, he had grabbed ahold of the healers hand, yanking him towards him as to stick him with his own needle, before allowing him to fall onto the ground. The healer knew that Ethan was strong but he wasn't counting on him turning the tranquilizer back upon him. "Well damn." He mumbled before falling to the floor just next to them. The guards rushed towards the healer to escort him back to his quarters. Meanwhile he continuing attempting to shove Noah off of him. "I WILL NOT BE CONTAINED, LET ME GO BEFORE I LET ALL HELL LOOSE...." He shouted, though he wasn't completely serious about letting all hell let loose, he was quite serious about wanting his freedom.
He didn't care that Noah might want to hold him captive for attempting to kidnap his guards, seeing as he had them back, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that he continued attempting to gain his own freedom. "AND GIVE ME MY STUFF BACK." He shouted, not caring that it was his uncle he was disrespecting. He wasn't going to listen to him, he had freedom from listening to his parents for the last few years, he wasn't about to let somebody else attempt to boss him around. Not even with the title Dark King floating around.

[attr="class","aodmain"] Irritation filled Noah as he attempted to keep his squirming nephew from escaping his grasp. Outside the thick, stone walls of the Dark King's castle was a realm of endless danger because of the captain's lurking beyond them. Allowing Ethan to launch himself into peril was forbidden, thus despite the squirming, the wraith worked harder to maintain his pin on him. The family was crucial, a notion which Noah Sullivan learned after his brother followed and supported him up until his demise. There were some family members the wraith did not favour, but Carter's side of the family truly provided a homely sense in the aftermath of his parent's disowning. Assisting in the healing process was the initial step to assure the blond would recover and not face any consequences from potential injury. The constant struggling made it difficult to keep his grip, but the Assembly soldier remained determined. The healer was moving closer, a needle filled with a tranquillizer. He proceeded to get closer, bending down with plans on gently inserting the needle into a suitable position, however, Ethan's struggling would inevitably make it difficult.
[break][break]
Unfortunately, everything would go wrong when Ethan freed his arms and managed to make the healer inject himself with the tranquillizer. A swear was uttered before the healer fell hard to the floor. A glare settled on Noah's brow as he tightened his pin, attempting to force Ethan to remain beneath him.
[break][break]
"WE ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU, DAMMIT!" Noah exclaimed, not bothered by the shouted threat. "YOU ARE NOT LEAVING THIS CASTLE UNTIL THAT CAPTAIN IS DEAD!"
[break][break]
Any demands the blond shouted were ignored, Noah working strenuously to keep his nephew on the ground. Enhanced strength was used in an attempt to keep Ethan down, the wraith being plenty aware of the strength of dragons; watching Carter fight for years kept him privy to that information. The pin was tightened the best the Dark King could manage, Noah gesturing with his head for guard assistance in keeping Ethan down.
Ethan continued struggling in Noah's grip, displeased that he wasn't willing to release him. He had already handed the healer but his uncle was proving rather difficult. "I DON'T WANT YOUR HELP!" He shouted, upset when Noah told him that he wouldn't be permitted to leave until the captain is dead. "HE WILL BE KILLED BY MY HAND AND NOBODY ELSES!" He answered, upset that Noah wasn't willing to let him go, nor give him his stuff back. He could feel Noah using enhanced strength against him, he increased his as well, refusing to allow his uncle to contain him. He had noticed the head gesture, this was proving rather difficult, he would need to allow all hell to break through if he wanted to gain freedom. There was only one way he knew how to do that, as it stood right now, Noah was making that rather easy for him. He struggled more as his emotions turned into anger. His uncle may have wanted to keep him safe but as he viewed it, he was stealing his kill and that was unacceptable. He wasn't going to allow Noah to keep his prey from him, oh no, he was going to get freedom and go kill that bastard.
"GET OFF OF ME!" He snapped, clearly angry that Noah remained on top of him. He used force to try and shove Noah off of him, it was difficult because Noah had him pinned, but he'd be damned if he became submissive just because of how difficult it was proving to be. When the guard came in reach, he smacked his hand against the ground, allowing the force of energy to leave his body to create ice. It had been sudden but enough to startle the guard in stopping in his tracks, even if it meant failing to help his king contain Ethan. If they weren't going to allow him to leave willingly, he'd just have to do it by force. He concentrated on making that ice bigger and thicker, so that it blocked the hallway and them in helping Noah contain him. He could hear the guards attempting to break through his ice, but they would be a while if they planned on breaking through it. He would turn his hand slightly before attempting to freeze Noah with the cold seeping from his hand, not willing to freeze him but hoping that it would shock him enough to loose his grip so that he could once more attempt to shove him off.

[attr="class","aodmain"] Dominating stubborn dragons constantly became a strenuous and difficult task to achieve. These were tasks Noah was extremely familiar with, both from sparring and bedroom antics with Carter. Fortunately, familiarity assisted in making the wraith privy on how to handle these intense situations. There were plenty of incidents where he wrestled Carter, but now he possessed the enhanced strength to handle the situation with his nephew. Refusals of assistance escaped Ethan’s mouth, but Noah became persistent on pinning his nephew and forcing possible medical attention. The importance of family orbited around his mind, reminding him of the horrible symptoms of mourning a lost loved one. The emptiness in his stomach, aching of his heart and sad loneliness because of a single loss. In a room full of people, he would still miss his brother and feel those emotions of lonesomeness. While Ethan lacked family on his side, Noah refused to allow the final fragment of Carter's family; somebody needed to carry on the incredible legacy of those amazing people, furthermore, the captain would not receive another victim on his long list.
[break][break]
"NO! THE CAPTAIN IS DANGEROUS ETHAN! I AM NOT LETTING HIM KILL YOU! YOU'RE MY NEPHEW AND I AM NOT LOSING MORE FAMILY!" Noah screamed the words out, unable to resist.
[break][break]
Slight anger was evident, however, it was aimed towards the captain who stole his beloved Carter. Inside his voice were hints of sorrow from losing Carter through those horrific means. Enhanced strength became evident as Noah struggled to maintain his grip and force Ethan to remain still. The gestures for assistance were heeded, but the guards were forced to cease movement as ice suddenly spawned between them and himself and Ethan. Immediately, the wraith flinched as he attempted to keep his pin on the dragon, refusing to release Ethan. The screaming accompanied by the building ice walls were concerning, the Dark King proceeding to maintain a pin. Suddenly, his eyes widened as he realized the immense anger manifesting from his nephew. There was a slight shudder as he realized the increasing danger, Noah being plenty aware some dragons held difficulty controlling their when irritated.
[break][break]
"Ethan! You need to calm down right now! I am not your enemy, I'm just trying to protect you," Noah explained in a panic.
[break][break]
A chill settled into the hallway as the ice wall thickened, the wraith's grey eyes flitting around as he realized he was trapped inside. There was a cold sensation on his arms, Noah flinching as he began to believe his nephew intended to freeze him. Despite the cold, the Dark King refused to release Ethan because of his endless worries about the blond's health. A deep breath was taken, the freezing air entering his lungs before being released into a long exhale, the man's eyes narrowing as he stared down at Ethan.
[break][break]
"I am not letting go, Ethan... I am NOT losing my nephew this way... Family is everything to me, and like it or not, I married Carter and THAT MAKES YOU FAMILY! I AM NOT LETTING YOU LEAVE SO THAT MAN CAN PROVOKE YOU AND POSSIBLY KILL YOU!" The wraith screamed at him, the slightest hints of tears in his eyes.
[break][break]
Crying was resisted, Noah fixating more on keeping Ethan pinned to the floor, desperate to keep his nephew safe. While he lost his husband years ago, the Dark King desired to protect Carter's side of the family; they were everything to him. Nobody would face their demise tonight, the navy-haired man wishing to protect and connect with his blond nephew.
Ethan struggled under Noah's grip. "I'M GOING TO KILL HIM IF IT IS THE LAST THING I DO!" He shouted, trying even harder to break free from Noah's pin. He heard Noah's words but he wanted freedom and Noah wasn't giving it to him. "I WANT TO BE RELEASED RIGHT NOW.... WELL WITH MY CLOTHES... AND SWORD..... MY STUFF!" He was struggling to get his demand straight because he was reminded he was wearing only boxers. He attempted to encourage Noah off of him, pausing only when he heard Noah's comment. "I WASN'T PREPARED BEFORE, IT WON'T HAPPEN AGAIN." He shouted, still angry that Noah wasn't getting off of him. He struggled under Noah, continuing to wrestle for freedom. He was well aware of his temper, slowly trying to get it under control because trying to push Noah off wasn't working. He'd just need a new strategy. If Noah thought it was over, he would be proven wrong. It wasn't over by a long shot, but seeing as Noah was determined as ever to be on him, he decided he would go along with his demands for now and once he got into his bedroom for a fling, then he'd make his escape.
It wasn't like his guards could contain him after all. "Fine, but your giving me my damn stuff back...." He mumbled, looking side ways, appearing to be in defeat. Mark my words uncle, once you put your guard down for a fling. I will make my escape. He thought to himself, slowly becoming calm, still annoyed that he'd have to let him win this time, but he didn't want to waste his energy against Noah, he wanted to find the captain as soon as possible and kill him for murdering his family. He laid on the ground, not willing to rush into moving because he didn't want Noah believing he was making plans to escape, even though that was exactly what he was currently thinking about and remaining calm, calm is good.

[attr="class","aodmain"] Their struggle felt endless, Noah applying strenuous effort to maintain control over his nephew. The consequences lingered outside the castle wall similar to an opportunistic wolf searching for the easiest prey. Death was a life-changing experience, the wraith spared of the frightful experience solely because it occurred during his sleep. Only his imagination could manifest the notion of thoroughly experiencing one's own demise. Despite the constant screams of protest from his nephew, the Dark Kind merely worked harder to contain the irritating blond. There was evident rage, however, Noah knew giving in to Ethan's strength could potentially lead him to an unfortunate demise. Inside, there was a portion of the navy-haired man who was accomplishing this for selfish reasons since saving Ethan sounded like a recipe to healing, furthermore, he could not watch that face die again. Anger was pulsing through his nephew's veins, resulting in Noah visibly flinching as he attempted to keep the angered dragon still. When Ethan eventually ceased struggling, the wraith relaxed, however, refused to get off his nephew until he was certain this was not a bluff.
[break][break]
The Dark King's eyes narrowed when Ethan requested his items be returned to him. Unfortunately, Noah feared his nephew would runaway should he receive his belongings. The young blond already displayed the sense of loathing he felt towards him, thus, the wraith was under the assumption he would attempt to escape. Whether it was murder the captain or not, he believed his nephew would accomplish any task to vacate the castle's secure walls.
[break][break]
"You can have your clothes back, and that is it," Noah stated. "You can get dressed, and then we are waiting for the medic to wake up. In the meantime, I will show you the cafeteria so you can eat."
[break][break]
The explanation was simple, the wraith slowly releasing Ethan, getting off the man. Once he was steady on his feet, the navy-haired king offered his nephew some assistance to his feet. The remaining hand reached down to grab the radio secured around his belt, Noah bringing it to his lips to speak calmly into it.
[break][break]
"The situation is under control, but I need someone to bring me Ethan's clothes, however, if they are too damaged, go find something casual from the spare closet," Noah explained.
[break][break]
Promptly, a guard would check the status of Ethan's clothes and accomplish the task on behalf of his king. The high expectations would result in quick results, however, the wraith needed to handle a separate issue. The Dark King glanced around the ice walls which enclosed them, the man knowing they would be required to exit this area until further notice. Fortunately, shadows lingered in every corner, giving the wraith the potential to escape the enclosure.
Ethan struggled to contain his emotions, it was clear to him that Noah was only refusing in an attempt to keep him here. Despite liking his stuff, he was more than willing to attempt escape without them, of course he liked his belongings so the first attempt would be to get them back even if it meant a few failed attempts at escaping in the process. "Fine..." He mumbled, not wishing to hint that he had other plans in store for Noah. His mind started to wander on the location Noah likely hid his belongings. If he wanted it back, he knew he'd have to take it by force. Noah slowly stood up before offering his hand to him, to which he accepted because he wasn't going to attempt to escape, not right this moment anyway. He was quiet as he listened to Noah give orders on his radio. A guard had answered the radio, searching for Ethan's clothes only to find them damaged beyond repair, before heading to the closet for something as close to casual as much as possible before walking back down the hall to meet them. It seemed Noah was looking at the walls, most likely trying to determined a way out.
He had read up on him, knowing about his shadow teleportation, though reaching out he touched the wall, causing it to melt because it no longer needed to remain strong to keep them captive in here. As much as he wanted to help Noah out on getting them out of here, he wasn't interested in showing off with being able to cause the ice to melt faster, it would do so in a timely manner without his assistance. So he would wait, wait for Noah to either pull him through a shadow to teleport or the ice wall to melt first. Once they were freed, he would see the guard that had gone to gather him clothes, holding some for him to wear. That isn't my clothes.... what was wrong with what I was previously wearing? He thought to himself, annoyed because they likely were damaged if he wasn't able to wear them any longer. Despite being in the hall way, he put the pants on so that he wouldn't be seen in boxers only as well as the shirt so that he felt much more modest. He would then wait to be shown towards the cafeteria. Just because he planned to escape didn't mean he would avoid eating first, seeing as it was offered and all.

[attr="class","aodmain"] The struggle finally subsided, Noah easing slightly once they finally reached an agreement to cease, at least, for the time being. Rescuing Ethan from the consequences of his decision appeared to be progressing smoothly, however, he believed his nephew was displeased with the current situation. While the blond agreed to the plan, each word was mumbled out, providing Noah the impression of begrudging acceptance. Alas, the wraith refused to be irritated about the notion and instead warranted the man his emotions. People were emotional creatures, thus forbidding those feelings transpiring inside them felt dishonourable. The offered hand was taken, the wraith assisting his nephew back to his feet. Silently, the Dark King observed the walls, somewhat impressed by the sturdy structure his nephew created. These ice walls were powerful creations, the manipulation had evidently been used skillfully. Fortunately, the immense darkness inside the area would allow for easy escape.
[break][break]
A proper plan was created, Noah slowly returning to his nephew to offer his hand again. They would leave this area in a punctual manner than proceed as scheduled; at least, that is how Noah planned it.
[break][break]
“Take my hand. We are teleporting,” Noah stayed bluntly.
[break][break]
Warmth graced Noah’s hand once he grabbed Ethan’s hand, evidently not concerned with possibly having to be forceful. The wraith maintained a tight grip to ensure himself that Ethan would not manage to squirm from his grasp and escape. Shadow teleporting was the quickest method of exit from these thick ice walls and Noah refused to loiter around waiting for the melting process. The wraith led them towards the nearest shadow, the darkness seemingly liquefying around them as they passed through the first. In a matter of seconds, Noah and Ethan crosses through to their destination; the open hallway. Wordlessly, Noah leaned against the wall, waiting for the instructed guard to gather Ethan’s clothes, whether it be the rags he was discovered in or a new casual pair. A few minutes passed before the echoes of footsteps down the main hallway piqued Noah’s attention. Holding some casual wear which was in better condition was one of the Dark King’s guard. The navy-haired man provided a short nod of satisfaction to the wardrobe choice.
[break][break]
Patiently, the Dark King waited for his nephew to pull in the pants and shirt chosen for him. Once the clothes were on, Noah glances over Ethan, pleases with how presentable the blond was, however, another thought lingered in his head. The early demise of his husband resulted in the Dark King never witnessing the man’s appearance in casual clothing. Everything about the attire wrapped around Ethan’s body was stunning, Noah briefly imagining his ravishing Carter in those outfits; if only he was still around… Another pleased nod was provided, the Dark King walking down the hallway to lead Ethan to the cafeteria. He gestured for his nephew to follow him for something to eat. The options were unknown to Noah, especially considering his undead status made it unnecessary to eat. When they arrived in the cafeteria, the smell of pork chops, various vegetables and a few desserts filled the air, making the meal of choice for evening obvious.
Ethan hadn't been interested in taking Noah's hand despite having the assistance to stand up. He knew they'd have to leave sooner or later but holding his hand? It brought back memories of when he was a child holding his mother's hand. He wasn't a child anymore, so why the hell couldn't he just touch his shoulder or something and be done with it? Noah had grabbed for his hand, having failed to return the grip, he had noticed Noah's tighten on him as he followed him to the shadow before teleporting. His hand was released once on the other side and it wasn't long before he had some clothing that he'd be able to hide himself in. As soon as I get home, I'm changing. These are just too fancy for me..... He thought to himself. He noticed Noah nodding at him but he didn't make a comment, finding himself studying him instead. Noah gestured for him to follow him and he did so, food had been promised after all.
Once they arrived to the cafeteria, food was strong in the air, making it clear what was on the menu tonight. Slowly he followed after Noah, since he hadn't been here before he didn't feel comfortable strolling up front to get himself some food. Meanwhile, the healer had slowly opened his eyes, having woken from his bed. At first he thought it had been a dream but thoughts of the dragon had crossed his mind and he found himself worrying that Noah might be hurt because a dragon is difficult to wrestle with. He would stand from his bed and reach for his radio, "My King." He would answer into it, hoping that all was well. Or at the very least that Noah had won the wrestling match with Ethan. The first matter of business was to find them, but he needed to grab some supplies first. Assuming Noah still needed him in the hall way, that is. He moved around the bedroom, trying to sort through his stuff so that he would be prepared for Ethan in case he refused treatment again.
He hadn't had much chance to view any possible injuries because the ice had to be thawed and no sooner that he had been about to do so, that Ethan had woken up and fled from his presence. As soon as he gotten some food, he carried the tray back towards a table before setting it down before taking a seat. Now lets see here, if he is with me, he must have stored my stuff in another spot.... Hopefully not in his bedroom else that would defeat my purpose of being able to break in to take them back before escaping. He also doesn't seem like the type of person to put my stuff in his bedroom since he is all for flings.... which leaves only one spot that he likely left it, in the dungeon where I'll likely be going anyway.
cleanse me with those shadows, take me into the dark where I belong, show me my vile black heart.
[attr="class","aodmain"] The opinion Ethan held towards grasping his hand to escape never crossed Noah’s mind; either way, the wraith would have enforced his decision on the matter. They needed to escape the icy enclosure and hand-holding through a shadow teleport could easily accomplish the objective without fault. Once the warmth of Ethan's hand graced his own, Noah had calmly vacated the area through a shadow, evidently having no issues with being required to hold hands. The discomfort was unnecessary when the purpose was merely escaping or to assure nobody separated from the main group. Holding hands was simply a useful practice during certain situations, such as attempting to escape a cramped ice enclosure. At the time, age never crossed Noah's mind, the wraith merely desiring to vanish from the ice walls which held them. When Ethan was properly dressed, Noah has escorted the young blond down to the cafeteria, his grey eyes glancing around once they entered. The pleasant aromas were incredible, the number of guards gleefully devouring their food making it obvious they were pleased with the chosen option. Slowly, the Dark King began walking towards the tables to find Ethan a seat, however, his nephew appeared keen on following.

A soft sigh escaped his lips, the navy-haired man gesturing for Ethan to follow him to the counter to get his food. Firmly, Noah grasped a tray, shoving it into Ethan's hand before leading the dragon down the line to decide what he wanted from the cafeteria. There were some alternatives for the pork-based meal, mostly for anybody who preferred a vegetarian diet. When Ethan gathered his food, the Assembly soldier led him towards the tables stationed in the main area. The soft hum of the radio coming to life reached Noah's ears as he walked, the man grabbing hold of it. He has immediately recognized the healer's voice.

"You're awake?" He inquired softly. "Ethan is getting something to eat, but I will bring him back for treatment shortly."

When an open table was discovered, the wraith pulled out a chair to sit down. There were few guards stationed at the table, most silencing when their king approached, only starting their conversation again when Noah provided a nod of approval. Despite the approval from their king, the guards hesitantly proceeded with their conversation, evidently uncertain because of Ethan's presence. The unexpected guest was an unknown variable after all.
