blindness is merely an obstacle.
[attr="class","blindballottalker"]Blindness and dependence were linked tightly by high-quality titanium chains. Never breaking, rust-proof and charmed to extra strength to avoid any possibility of shattering. Felix discovered himself trapped in an ill-favouring situation that desired him to ALWAYS depend on everyone. Hatred about his situation surged through the blind man's veins, refusing to cease as people insisted on his helplessness, decided on his disabilities and never once consulted him about capabilities. Cruellness was an indescribable concept when referring to the battles of the bind man.
From the beginning, his suffering started, never viewing the world and he never would. Forever, Felix would be required to depend on others, much to his begrudge. His outburst of woes was designed to express the presumed inability to sympathize with his circumstance. People were rarely born blind and more often discovered their eyes withering from the haunting presence of age. The delt cards were an ill-favouring losing hand against a man with a quadruplet of aces held in his meaty fingers. Unfortunately, Jason disapproved of his response and immediately assumed it was a sleight against this man never suffering from a loss of independence.
Listening to Jason's plights with his angry rant, although, Felix was already not fond of his. There was a complete disregard for the reasons behind his entire complaint! Did this ignorant hunter fail to comprehend how sight hinged on whether he would be independent or not?! The blind man ceased his movement as he listened, eyes narrowing as he heard every word, offended by the man's foolishness. The retort kept Felix silent as the man spoke critically and emotionally about a traumatic incident between his brother and himself; details spared.
Afterwards, he had the gull to deliver an apology and inform him how he was not speaking about his blindness. An infuriated scowl was drawn on Felix's face, a rarity for the regularly expressionless man.
"Ignorant," he mumbled, clenching his cane tighter. "If you speak of my dependency, you automatically involve my blindness. I cannot say I sympathize with your circumstance, but do not pretend you know mine. Never have I or ever will witness the splendid beauties of this world. I never had independence and never will, that is my plight. Forever I will have to depend on people... there is no recovery."
The ending of his words was punctuated with an extensive sigh. The admittance harmed his soul, however, he would never inform the man about those emotions.
"Take me home, preferably with haste," he mumbled. "If you wish to yell at me further, you are welcomed to. However, I stand beside my words."
Steps were taken forward in the assumption of the man's location. Without his high-precision static, Felix lacked a method of sensing the world around him. Silently, he steeled himself for the further chastizing of the tiresome hunter, believing it was an inevitability. The anger disappeared, replaced with disappointment hidden beneath a neutral front he forced upon his countenance.
