Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Summer 2024
Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
Since the wonderful members of TDOM enjoy the site enough to play around on it, this thread is to assist with the site's tidying! Functionality is important and we want to make the site functional even if its activity will be minimal at best!
If all things went according to plan for a perfect night out, it was certain that her camera roll would be filled to the brim with images. Zenaide was always the type to want to capture the precious moments, knowing that the memories you make can very well grow even more precious over time. A notification alerted her to a response, a return picture appearing on her screen. Her smile brightened at the cute image of Serestia, and the caption that accompanied it. Today truly was going to be the best, she was sure of it. [break][break]
The excited blogger awaited the arrival of her friend, and the inevitable start of the fun. She admittedly hadn’t been to Lorsette’s aquarium show before now, so it was sure to bring some wondrous things. Probably a bunch of tricks, which was standard for this sort of thing. An aquarium was a good place to visit even when a show wasn’t going on, so the event almost felt meant to be. Snug in her bag was a variety of essentials, like money and various cards. She checks her feed for any comments, making sure nobody has already caught on. Nobody has just yet, which was a good sign. Satisfied, she tucks her phone back into her bag. [break][break]
The sound of rushing footsteps and a familiar voice caused her to look up. A happy smile lit up Zenaide’s features as her gaze welcomed Serestia, the girl’s enthusiasm shown in her waves. ”Serestia!” Her voice was chiming and light, full of brimming happiness. Upon hearing the next words, she shook her head. It wasn’t really that long a wait, it would be fine. ”That’s perfectly alright. You’re here now!” [break][break]
Truthfully, Zenaide was overjoyed to be in her presence. ”Aww! Thank you. You look radiant yourself!” Glancing at the entrance to the aquarium, she tilted her head in it’s direction. ”You ready? We want to get the best possible places right?” Her voice was playful, offering a slight wink. They might also want to make sure they got their hands on any of the special souvenirs, just in case they got sold out early or something. [break][break]
