OVERVIEW | |||||||||
Osheen has lilac colored eyes. And she doesn't ware a hat, or have a flower bun in her hair. She does however sometimes braid one side of her hair but that just depends on the day. Her hair color is a dusty brown and is usually worn down, but she does like to dress it in different ways. The length of her hair curves a bit past her shoulders and she tends to keep it this length, she's never wanted longer or shorter hair. She has bangs that drape slightly past her eyebrows, but don't get in the way of her eyes.
Personality | |||||||||
OVERVIEW | |||||||||
Due to Osheen's life she's always been on her own and that has caused her to find ways to ease her loneliness. One could say that she'll always be a child at heart, but that is just looking on the surface of her pretend games. Deep down the girl is damaged and harbors a lot of self hate that she hides from others. She does her best to be good, but sometimes her own emotions get the better of her. She wants to be someone pure, but she does recognize that is something unattainable to her. Her life has been very difficult and because of that she's tried to not make the lives of others difficult. Again, she doesn't always succeed at this because she is rather emotional. A great deal of her feelings are very intense be it pain or happiness and therefore she can also be described as excitable. At first appearance Osheen can be quiet and sweet, but as she gets to know others she tends to be more energetic and at points goofy and klutzy. She's insecure about a lot of things, but has a temper inside of her that can flare up at times. She is not afraid of pain if it is protecting others or something she values very strongly. She has dark thoughts at points that seem to suck her in like a void but she does her best to pull from those things to keep herself from drowning. She has a lot of inner strength that she doesn't give herself credit for. In recent events she's become more quiet, but she does try to be polite when it feels proper, however her coping mechanism has become her imagination and she's often lost within it while the world around her passes her by. More will be added/edited in the future once some threads have been completed and I get a more raw feel of her character. - Adira ♥
History | |||||||||
OVERVIEW | |||||||||
All of her life Osheen recalled trying, always trying with her family, to garner their attention, to receive their love. But they were all untouchable. No matter how hard she tried their kindness was always fleeting. Her family rather abruptly moved back to her mother's hometown, Grayfork, before Osheen was born. The place was small in size and had a close-nit community of religious gifted beings who all celebrated their blessings of power. Osheen was adopted into the community despite not having powers because her mother lied in saying that they had been sealed away. It was a cruel lie that filled Osheen with hope...with the idea that she was special and if she worked hard enough that she would recover her magic. Osheen viewed her mother highly even if she was too busy to spend time with her or always had a strained smile when she looked in her direction. Her older sister, Jamiah, was the favorite within their family, and her popularity extended to their classmates as well. For a long time Osheen was in denial over her oldest sister's hatred for her. But, Jamiah was the main instigator of negativity within her life, through rumors and lies spread about her. But her older sister wasn't the only one who showed a lack of control around her. Powerless became a word Osheen experienced whenever she was around others her age. They used their powers on her because they viewed her as weak an incapable. It was harmless in their eyes...it was funny...everyone was laughing except the victim. Despite her hardships Osheen was full of life, at least in the beginning and so she found ways to have hope. She found happiness in protecting others and sought out friendships despite repeated failure. She never understood why others hated her, or would pretend to be her friend and then laugh at her for believing they'd keep her around. Little by little her soul was cracked and in the end the only one to patch the wounds up was herself. Her isolation created a unique attachment to her imagination and she allowed it to comfort her. She made her own invisible friends, and truly believed her powers were connected to nature. She created the illusion, the lie, that when the wind blew it was blowing for her...because it knew she was worthy of love...of happiness and she would find it one day. The dreams she created around her helped her through the hardest times in her life. But she wasn't invincible and the damage inflicted upon her left scars. She began to believe the things said about her, that people treated her poorly for a reason, even if it was a reason she could not see. For a time she was her only ally, but eventually she became an enemy to herself. She fluctuated between wanting to be special and feeling undeserving of anything special. Blindly she tried endlessly to find love and affection to which she so deeply craved. But all she was given were reasons on why she couldn't ever be enough, she was too needy, too whiny, too annoying, too emotional, too sensitive. Osheen felt bitter with her predicament, but she had been taught to make excuses for others, but not herself. Pain became her new escape, something she could control, something she could use to comfort herself. She believed that she had done something terribly wrong and by punishing herself it would eventually lead to forgiveness. The first year of High School was when she met her very first friend. She was a non-magical human named Pippa, and she was so cool in Osheen's eyes. She didn't care what other people thought and liked more fanciful imaginary games like her despite being a teenager. The two had a lot of good times together, or at least Osheen made that her reality. In truth Pippa was not a good friend, she cared about herself and her family before she even considered Osheen. This shined through whenever Osheen needed her...Pippa would never be there, but would always expect her to be. But Pippa was all she had ever had and she was desperate not to lose her. A year of blissful time together was all they were given before Pippa began to find new friends and little by little her presence became scarce until it was no longer there at all. But Osheen remained optimistic and still gave Pippa ownership of the title best friend. She didn't want to let go and so whenever Pippa happened to need her she'd jump like a dog. During this time Osheen finally went through puberty which was very late and it was a crises moment in her life. She didn't want to grow up, to change...but there was nothing she could do. It was through this time that her want of family love shifted to the affection of a partner. By this point she was too scared to pursue a real life boyfriend due to her history. But that didn't stop her fantasying that one day he would come and see her value... He would love her unconditionally and never let her go. It was a beautiful dream, but the damage she had endured throughout her life twisted her idea of love. She didn't want prince charming...she wanted someone who would be broken like her... he would have a darkness that no one could accept but her. This secret desire of hers consumed her and made her feel more lonely than she had ever felt before in her life. But ultimately it just became another lost dream to her...another chapter in her life that didn't end the way she wanted. The bitterness she felt grew inside of her and she began to see the world more clearly. It was ugly and filled with cruel people, but she would fight it by giving kindness despite her upbringing. To her, the idea of making someone else happy helped fill an emptiness inside of her. But she was merely biding her time with more lies...more things to help her through another day. Finally, the day of her suffering came to an end. It was after high school, when she was eighteen years old and her older sister Jamiah told her the truth. She revealed to her sister why their mother could never be within the same room as her...or why Jamiah hated her so much. It was because she was unwanted, a child that out of the goodness of their mother's heart was given life despite being created through tragedy. She was a child born from rape, a child who looked just like him, and was the same disgusting species he was. There was no seal over her powers...because she had none and all of this was the reason why their mother would never love her...only tolerate her. The information tore through her like a crack that was unstoppable until it consumed all of her. She took her leave that day with only one possession to her name, a large shard of glass, and she had every intention to end her life. It was for them, for herself...for all the failure she had endured through the years. She felt that her sister was cruel that they all were for hating her for, never once giving her a real chance. Death would be the last gift she ever gave herself and even though her eyes were dry from her endless tears she felt at peace. It was suppose to be beautiful ending, but fear got the better of Osheen and she realized very belatedly that she was too scared to die. It was pathetic and only furthered her internal humiliation. But it was her decision and one she would live with. She filled with the stubborn resolve to piece her life back together, she intended to leave the family that didn't want her and find a new place somewhere in the world. But she was never given that chance. A soldier from an organization called The Assembly of Phantoms had come across her and he didn't care about the circumstances surrounding her; only that she was an easy target. Osheen fought bravely, but it was a battle that she had no chance of ever winning. No one came to her rescue but it was the same story for the other women and children taken. Slowly clusters of the people were chipped away and sent to different facilities. Osheen and three others were sent to Lorsette where their future would be determined depending on whatever the association needed.

OVERVIEW | |||||||||
✏ Past threads are completely fine for those who wish to meet Osheen before she's taken as an AP prisoner. ✏ Yet to be implemented but Osheen's story will interlink with Desmond Ciardha. She will be forced to take on an identity of Desmond's past friend in order for the Assembly of Phantoms to have leverage over him. Osheen's spine will be disfigured with a tattoo that will curse and seal her to the identity they want. This order will be given by a man code named The Black Plague.
