appearance averie has long blonde hair that reaches past the middle of her back. when she's annoyed by it she either pulls it up into a ponytail or she does a quick three strand braid. as long as it's not in her way she's doesn't really do much with it. she has light violet eyes and a fair complexion. she rarely wears make up, okay let's be honest she avoids it. if anything she might have a flavored lip balm on hand. her style is all over the place. though she isn't fond of overly feminine clothes. you wont' catch her in a dress or skirts. she tends to wear solid colors, mostly dark hues. simple and comfortable is what she likes. personality
abilities fire manipulation: intermediate - she is able to create and manipulate fire. her emotions can play a role, the angrier she gets the bigger the flames seem to be. though it doesn't always happen. it could have the opposite effect. she can put out fires she didn't herself. dragon shifting: beginner another thing that can be influenced by her anger. though she knows she can't let it get the best of her. there's no turning back once you go full dragon and that scares her the most. not being able to be in control. at this point she's able to produce her wings. it takes her a few minutes for them to appear, the process is slow and a bit painful. so she can't just summon them instantly. enhanced strength: advanced she stronger than your average human. there are times when she is distracted and doesn't realize she's using more strength that it needed, but that doesn't happen quite so much anymore. pain suppression: intermediate being able to block pain receptors is very beneficial, it seems to cut the pain in half, especially when she decides to bring her wings out. that doesn't mean that everything can get blocked. it's usually the first thing she thinks about doing when she knows it's time to get tough. natural: enhanced durability, thermal resistance, magic tasting, fire immunity, immortality backstory averie grew up in a fairly happy home. she was an only child and despite them not having much, they managed to get by. even as a child she didn't ask for much. her parents spoiled her as much as they could. both her parents worked two jobs and it was her grandmother that would be at home taking care of her. there were times when her grandmother wasn't able to care for her and those times averie ended up going to work with her dad. well, at least to one of his jobs. he was a mechanic and she enjoyed watching him fix things. it's what got her tinkering around as well. as she got older she started to do random babysitting jobs to help out in anyway she could. her parents appreciated the help, but told her to keep the money for herself. she really wasn't much of a spender, instead opting to save it. she liked to believe she lived in a safe neighborhood. a place where everyone knew everyone. she had just finished babysitting and had decided to walk home. it was suppose to be a short walk, after all she would be taking a short cut. she was distracted by the music that was playing in her ears. she couldn't remember how many times she had taken this path and thought nothing of it. she continued listening to music and messing with her phone. it's why she didn't notice them. she had fought back, but it was two of them and she was only a fourteen year old kid. she had no idea what was going on or why this was happening to her. she had dropped her phone in the scuffle. her mind running through different scenarios. she was more worried about her parents then herself. she knew it was her fault for being so careless, but they would blame themselves. the only good thing out of this experience was finding maharo. it seemed like, as soon as they had locked eyes they clung to each other. he was a couple years younger than her, so she knew she had to do her best to keep him safe. he was the one thing that kept her going because he was there with her. they waited for the perfect opportunity to escape. she had tried a few times and failed. learning from her mistakes they came up with a plan. there are times when she still looks over her shoulder. expecting to seem them behind her. they got lucky. it's been a few months since they managed to escape and things are looking up. of course she wasn't going to leave maharo all by himself. they've stuck together for so long. it was only natural for averie to keep looking out for him. misc likes: storms, chocolate, cigarettes, parties, surprises, fixing things, diy's dislikes: being trapped, hangovers, losing control, messes, being lost, being weak | roleplayer info  ☆ NAME ames ☆ RP EXPERIENCE 10+ ☆ TIMEZONE eastern ☆ GENDER femme ☆ AGE old ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS lots ☆ FACE CLAIM rwby, yang xiao long ---------------------- THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO AMEs.
