Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.

Summer 2024
Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
Since the wonderful members of TDOM enjoy the site enough to play around on it, this thread is to assist with the site's tidying! Functionality is important and we want to make the site functional even if its activity will be minimal at best!
Pride found himself wandering the city in the day time. Pride had found himself stuck in his animal form, looking like a rather large white husky. His fur was more than a little dirty having been out for quite some time without a bath. He eventually made his way to the park following scents of food in one of the garbage containers in the park. While making his way there at a casual pace he found himself passing a couple or two travelling the parks interior. He stopped on all fours to stare at them with beady eyes. He used his nose to determine if they had anything on them worth checking out. Their scents smelled of deodorant and perfume which was very strong for Pride's nose.
Pride made his way to the garbage container, it itself having strong scents inside it, but the temptation of the food laying in it was too much to bear for a starving animal. He climbed up the garbage can peering down inside using his snout to dig around the trash for a slize of pizza half eaten in the trash. He flung bits and pieces of the trash in every which direction as he found the source of the good scents in the trash can, which was pizza. The scent of the pizza was somewhat fresh which meant it at least wasn't rotten. Pride bit into the pizza getting a little bit of marinara sauce on his mouth, but devouring the pizza almost whole.
Pride huffed after finishing all of the edible parts of the trash, leaving the rest of the smelly bits to linger. He had created a mess around the trash can but lacked means of cleaning it up, or the thought to do so, in his animal form Pride was more animal than man. He soon found himself using his nose again to search for something to eat, and Pride wasn't very picky at this point in time. He got lucky finding a half-eaten pizza.
A low growl escaped his mouth as he distinctly hated the smell that was stuck on his fur, he had no recollection of being human, so animal instincts were what guided him here. He picked up another scent of food in the park, and aimed his snout in that direction. He avoided the squirrels for now, if he regained some energy chasing down squirrels to eat would be the next best thing.
Since his arrival in Lorsette, Hao discovered a slew of positives in city caught in the crossfire of Zeredah's war. Danger lurked around every corner, however, the ancient writer discovered the precious girl he sought for millenniums. A heart-warming moment as he stared, astonished of his fellow guardian and sibling by blood and affection. Mikki was a longed for presence throughout his years, her supportive and somewhat motherly attitude holding strong despite her ancientness. After rekindling their relationship, Hao offered her sister a place to live and was gratified when she agreed.
Finally, everything felt restored, life transitioning positively with the exceptions of pressure from both his parents and adoring fans. They always desired content, the variety in Hao's works only increasing the spread of those wishes. Unfortunately, Hao learned many centuries ago that not everybody could be pleased with his writings and furthermore the pace of their release. Despite his occasional delves into fictitious stories, the ancient guardian was largely a fan of writing historic works, including his life being among those ancient marvels; part of him wondered if age created popularity...
Deadlines were nonexistent, the money Hao received from millenniums of writing easily allowing the guardian to take some leisure in his works, however, the pressure nonetheless existed. Throughout the morning, the writer was fixated, bespectacled eyes narrowed as he attempted to achieve fixation. Fingers were stationed hovering above the keys, the common practices of "where to place your fingers on the keyboard" ignored. Alas, writers' block was a painful disease and thus Hao discovered himself staring at a screen, waiting until breakfast time called his name.
Thus, a museless Hao lifted himself from the seat and left home for the time being. Without the proper thought process to continue his work, the author knew he required a breather accompanied by a pleasant walk to clear his head. The man grabbed his phone and wallet, bringing them along as expected. Quietly, the ravenette exited his home wearing an off-white turtleneck, a navy trench coat and a pair of dress pants; nothing particularly professional as he preferred, however, plenty warm. The walk promptly began upon exiting, the guardian placing his phone and wallet into the trench coat pockets.
Down the sidewalks, the guardian walked, eyes flitting around curiously as he passed other people. There was the occasional widening of surprise, some perhaps recognizing for his fame-manifesting occupation. Merely witnessing the simple action motivated Hao to pick up the pace, his brisk, fast steps carrying him quickly. People were usually nervous attempting to speak to him, thus, the opportunity was grasped to speed walk down the sidewalks. His fans were appreciated, but sometimes could be on the demanding side or downright psycho should he bump into the wrong type...
Eventually, he reached Crescent Moon Cafe where he quickly entered, purchased himself some chai tea along with a blueberry muffin and exited moments later. While breakfast had arrived, Hao found his appetite lower than usual. The blueberry muffin was placed in a small bag as Hao proceeded to the day's destination. Gradually, the weather was shifting to become colder as autumn made way for winter's frigid embrace. There was a fleeting warmth captured in the days counting down to the season of snow and over-sized coats, thus Hao decided this would be the final chances to admire the autumn weather.
His walk proceeded for a while until he discovered the familiar gates of Crow Feather Park, where he promptly entered. Slowly, the guardian stepped down the paths, eyes wandering as he gazed around the park. The trees had lost a majority their leaves, the remaining possessing a brownish colour to their once vibrant, autumn appearance. Piles of fallen leaves littered the park, some being racked up and managed by the city workers. Green grass fought for survival against the autumn chill, but similarly, it was taking on a subtle, brownish complexion.
The bespectacled man would assume the kios were removed from the pond for a frigid, Canadian winter. Everybody was preparing for snow and ice, anybody who lived in the country long enough plenty aware winter would arrive with force. In small steps, Hao walked through the park, his eyes watching the few people around until he finally discovered a secluded bench. Promptly, the ravenette stationed himself on the bench, taking a sip of his chai tea before carefully setting the paper-esk coffee cup beside him. Promptly, the bag containing his muffin was opened and Hao plucked the delectable, blueberry muffin from the bag.
For breakfast, he planned to consume the muffin and admire the scenery of Crow Feather Park in hopes his thoughts would start churning and he could write once more!
Pride made his way towards the scents of food. It wasn't particularly what Pride wanted, but he wasn't picky at this current point in time. Picking up his pace into a slight run he made his way quickly towards the closest being with food. His ears perked up trying to listen for anything around them. He could hear a few squirrels running up and down trees, but that was about it. Pride could smell the chai tea sitting on the bench. It wasn't a particularly strong scent compared to others but Pride's nose could pick it up quite easily. He made his way slowly and quietly approaching from the backside. He walked right up to the person with little regard to personal space. He stuck his nose through the slat of the bench and began sniffing the male sitting on the bench. He could pick out his scent, but the smell of the chai tea was still bleeding through to his nose as it was so close.
Pride attempted to push the Chai tea away using his snout, able to scoot it along the bench without spilling it before returning his attention the man in front. After getting his scent Pride slowly walked around the bench, making himself in line of sight from the man. He growled lowly before letting out a rather large bark. It didn't sound endangering but rather playfully instead. Pride moved closer to the male this time in full view without any concealment from behind. He would attempt to make his way closer to the blueberry muffin the man was holding. He walked on all fours towards the male sitting on the bench, getting his face almost right between his legs before letting out another low growl that turned into a playful bark.
This is when Pride sat down in front of the man letting out a low whimper. Yes Pride was begging for food, he was hungry after all, and although blueberry muffins weren't exactly choice food, it was better than nothing right? He wondered if the man would share his food or not, but perhaps more whining would get his point across some more. Pride let out a few more whimpers, and then a low upset growl. Pride was impatient and he wanted food quickly. His coat of fur was still quite dirty, and he looked like he was a stray that had gotten lost.
Pride looked at him with curious eyes, tilting his head ever so slightly before raising a paw. Pride was raising his paw as if he was commanded to give a high five and he batted at the air a few times before slamming his paw against the bench beside the man. He was so impatient he was trying tricks, but he was rather hungry. Pride didn't leave the man much personal space either, so he wouldn't have much room to move away from Pride or run from this situation. In fact being confronted by a dog of Pride's size would scare some people, especially as mangy as he did look. Pride was showing signs of playfulness and happiness, but the low growls could confuse the man.
Quietly, the writer remained stationed on the bench, chestnut-coloured eyes observing the scenery of the park. In the distance, children played, their shouts echoing over the autumn air. From the sidelines of the play structure were parents, conversing while keeping their eyes focused on their children. The war affected everybody, alas, these children played merrily without worry for the lingering threats hidden inside the weaving streets of a dangerous city. A soft sigh escaped Hao's lips as he leaned against the bench's backrest, only aware of the approaching dog when the sounds of pawsteps growing louder.
Moments later, Hao glanced over his shoulder, muffin in hand as he watched a filth-covered husky approach. The ravenette raised a brow, however, thought nothing about the situation. At least... until the dog's snout pushed through the gap in the bench, causing Hao to straighten in surprise. Being among the species of this world capable of shifting, the writer comprehended dogs, alas, he rarely discovered dogs brazen enough to snoop around. The dog's scout nudged his tea and despite the caution in the action, the guardian reached, grasping the top of the disposable, portable cup.
The drink was lifted from the wooden planks of the bench's seating area, Hao displaying a countenance of subtle irritation. Attention was distracted from the muffin, still wrapped and carefully held in the writer's slender, delicate fingers. Eventually, the creature's nose retreated from the gap, leaving Hao to believe the dog would leave his area, but, unfortunately, was proven incorrect. Around the bench, the canine trotted, stationing himself in front of the author. A rumble entered the dog's throat before finally, a loud, playful bark escaped its mouth.
As a guardian, Hao easily deduced the intentions of the bark, alas, he ignored the dog, believing perhaps the husky would lose interest and leave. Considering the canine's friendly nature, he certainly possessed an owner, although... Only moments later did the dog's head nearly went between Hao's legs, resulting in the guardian recoiling, his back pressing up against the bench's backrest. Another loud and playful bark escaped the friendly creature's mouth before he settled in a sitting position and whimpered, pleading for something.
The writer's eyes shifted to the blueberry muffin before returning to the dog. The pelt was filthy, the ravenette guessing the coat to be matted and tangled from being on the streets. For a husky, he appeared scrawnier, proving an improper diet and perhaps a lengthy amount of time spent roaming the frightening streets of Lorsette. Only moments later did whimpers transform to growls, the author stiffening until he noticed a common trick taught by dogs. The actions of a high five, simple, but proving that perhaps the poor dog once retained an owner.
Mere seconds later, the impatient husky batted the bench, however, the attitude did not scare the guardian. Three thousand years of life taught him many things, including the behaviours of dogs. Inside his veins, roaming was access to the ability to transform into an arctic fox. Something different from a dog, however, still contained in the canine family. A soft sigh escaped the ravenette's mouth. Carefully, the disposable cup was placed onto the bench, the paper wrapper unpeeled.
"Listen, you can have some, but we're going to try and find your owner after this, understand?" Hao murmured.
Hands were placed gently on either side of the muffin before Hao cautiously tore a chunk of the baked treat away. The chunk was tossed down into the nearby grass with hopes of manifesting some distance between himself and the filthy dog. Somebody had to be searching for the husky, these dogs were a popular breed, however, finding the owner could prove difficult. The poor creature looked mangy, skinny and covered with filth from the streets. Alas, the husky's behaviour led Hao to assume he was possibly somebody's missing pet.
Thoughts of animal-shifting humans failed to cross Hao's mind in the moment, thus, he remained unaware of the husky's true form; fixation was instead placed on how he would manage to find the dog's owner amidst this Canadian city.
Pride was impatient but his impatience seemed to be rewarded. He was overjoyed when the words of the man indicated he was going to get some of the food he had. Pride could tell just by the way he spoke. When the man tossed the chunk of muffin into the grass Pride immediately darted into the grass to get the muffin chunk giving the man the precious space he had been wanting. Pride continued to devour the muffin by picking it up in his mouth, raising his whole head with the muffin and then doing multiple bites on the muffin chunk until it was gone. Pride was pretty happy with himself, he had gotten some more food, and his belly was just a little less empty now. His tail wagged happily as he devoured the muffin chunk, but the chunk was gone in mere seconds.
When Pride was finished with the chunk he returned his attention back to the male. From the man's reactions Pride got the sense he didn't like it when he approached so closely to him. So Pride kept his distance for now, frankly he didn't care if he upset the man, but he did just get food from him so Pride was being a good boy. He barked with happiness at the man on the bench keeping a good foot from him now. Pride was very happy now and his tail wag had enough force to cool someone down. The cold wind blew heavily, Pride was comfortable in this weather though with his fur coat providing him with much insulation, even if it was a bit dirty.
So finding his owner? Pride didn't want to inconvenience this guy any more than he already had so perhaps it was time to distract him from that goal. Despite the man's negative reactions to Pride being close Pride cautiously approached the man once more. This time however he approached with a calmer attitude. His tail still wagged with excitement, but he approached slowly. When he was within snouts reach Pride tried to dig his snout into the man's side of the leg. He was asking to be pet, or well more demanding it. He was using a lot of weight on his snout to really emphasize how much he wanted to be pet, hopefully the man didn't mind petting a dirty dog because Pride really wanted the attention from him.
After begging for pets Pride decided to keep his distance for now. The man's attitude made him believe he wouldn't like it if Pride hopped up onto his lap like he wanted to. Pride huffed rather loudly. What was he thinking? He was never one to give in to what other people wanted, so Pride decided he would get up onto this man's lap after all, The man did decide to show kindness. Which meant he was kind right? Pride didn't think much about how dirty he was and attempted to climb onto the man's lap, demanding all of his attention, and hoping for many pets. Pride loved to be the center of attention, and also didn't think about the tea the man had with him either.
Assisting the filthy husky was something Hao was accomplished for the assumed owners of the friendly beast. The dog appeared completely fine with approaching strangers, therefore, the logical conclusion for the esteemed author was that somewhere he had people who loved and cared for him. Somewhere amidst the lack of expression was a sense of benevolence, thus despite the animal's reprehensible behaviours, Hao was willing to assist the loud, impatient creature. Alas, it did not cease wishes that the owner was nearby or easy to find.
The tossed piece of muffin softly landed onto the grass, the mangy dog promptly scuttling to retrieve his piece of food. Meanwhile, a soft sigh escaped Hao's lips as he brought the other half to his lips, taking a small bite from his breakfast. Sweet blueberries accompanied by the freshly cooked dough filled his mouth. Moments later the chai tea was ferried to the guardian's lips, a sip being taken which allowed the cinnamon to dance across his taste buds, smoothly taking over the entirety of his mouth and washing down the initial bite of muffin.
Another bite was taken from the muffin, Hao enjoying the muffin he purchased, even though he was forced into sharing with a starving dog. Mere seconds later, the filthy husky returned, tail happily wagging because of the food he received. The distance was maintained, the peculiar creature realizing that Hao wished for some comfortable distance. The dark-haired man consumed more of his blueberry muffin, each pleasant bite enjoyed while the dog joyfully wagged his tail. Following the owner remark, the canine slowly approached him again.
The man's bespectacled eyes glanced at the husky, watching him approach until once again reaching the bench and his feet. Pets were desired, thus the dog nudged his legs, demanding some kind of attention. Slowly, Hao's eyes locked onto the animal, noticing the dirt captured in the creature's thick fur. The tidy author flinched from observing the many dirt patches in the dog's coat. Breakfast was still being devoured, thus Hao preferred to avoid petting the filthy dog until he finished his muffin.
"You will have to wait, I can't get my hands dirty right now," Hao explained quietly.
The writer continued eating his muffin, soon finishing the delicious treat. The wrapper was folded before being slipped into the original paper bag. Afterwards, Hao reached for his chai tea, taking a sip and reaching to place it onto the bench. Alas, before Hao could rise from the bench, the husky began attempting to climb onto his lap. A glare crossed Hao's eyes as he released a shout of surprise. Without hesitation, Hao tried to push the dirty canine off before his clothes became absolutely filthy. The last thing the cleanly man desired was for his chosen attire to get covered in filth from unknown locations.
Admittedly, the author was beginning to dislike the dog's energetic behaviour, especially since he preferred calmer animals. While the canine side of his guardian species allowed him to understand dogs, he was never the biggest fan of them.
Pride groaned heavily as he pushed away from the man's lap. He scampered a bit trying to keep his balance, but he was ultimately shoved off of the man's lap. Sadly the man surely was going to have some dirty clothes after that attempt from Pride to hop onto his lap. Pride was very impatient, he didn't even notice the man's words to wait before hand. He was a little unhappy with how that situation turned out and barked at the man. Surely this man just didn't like animals Pride was thinking wondering what in the world happened to have him scooted off of his lap so quickly, he didn't even think about how dirty he was, but he definitely could smell it. Pride patiently laid down in front of the man, realizing fully that impatience wasn't going to get him what he wanted.
Pride was more than comfortable barking at the man though as he had no other way of communicating to him. His barks were to show how upset he was that he wasn't receiving any pets from the man. Pride was sure to lose interest have he found something else to catch his eyes in the park. Pride's ears perked up as his head swiveled around to listen for any animals on the prowl nearby. He was sure he could hear a squirrel. As his attention was away from the man for the time being Pride began using his nose to smell for anything nearby. The wind seemed to be coming from an upstream so he could in fact smell a few animals from the direction in front of him.
Pride realized that the rest of the muffin had already been eaten by the man leaving this man with very little to offer him now besides pets. Pride was looking forward to being pet, but his patience would only go so far. He wagged his tail still even while laying down, he looked at the man intently and barked again almost as if saying. "Hey how about now?" He didn't seem to show any remorse for what happened earlier, but really he was just trying to show affection to the man, so he didn't see any reason to feel bad about hopping up on top of the man.
The cold wind blew changing directions from blowing down in front of them to a bit to the left instead, this changed Pride's whole world of smells, and he quickly raised his head to sniff the air. After finding out which animals resided nearby he had a back up plan for food, but he knew people often times provided food, so maybe if he was lucky he could get more out of this individual, and the faint scent of the muffin on his fingertips persuaded Pride to stay a bit longer. Still laying on the ground in front of the man Pride whimpered impatiently asking to be pet yet again, while also trying to signal he wanted more food, perhaps this man knew of somewhere to get more food like the trash receptacles Pride thought.
Somehow, Hao managed to shove the large, husky away from him, however, souvenirs were left from the large, filthy beast. Speckles of dirt littered the dark-haired man's clothing from traces left by filth-covered paws to clumps which fell loose from the husky's thick pelt. The dampness of the creature's pelt resulted in a mixture of dirt and fur sticking to the guardian's hands. An annoyed growl rumbled from Hao's throat, the dark-haired man clearly annoyed that the unwashed dog decided to sully his clothing.
Rounds of laundry would be accomplished during the evening accompanied by stain remover in hopes of salvaging the pieces he enjoyed wearing most. Unfortunately, an effort would be required to diminish Hao's annoyance with the animal, especially since huskies were hardly lap-dogs! The writer kept his hands in the air, a groan escaping his lips as he rumbled through the paper bag, searching for napkins to clean the dirt instead of soiling his clothing more. A white napkin was plucked from the bottom of the bag, slightly crumb covered because of throwing his muffin wrapper into the same bag.
Moments later the filthy husky began barking complaints, the bespectacled man glancing over and glaring at the dog. No answer was provided as Hao wiped his hands with the napkin, managing to get a portion of the dirt and hairs off. Roughly, the papery material was rubbed against his filthy hands, picking up pieces of dirt and hair, however, napkins were hardly a proper cleaning tool. Once somewhat satisfied, Hao rolled his eyes and provided his hands with a disgusted grimace. Dirt was still smeared across Hao's pale palms which bothered him greatly.
The author was a tidy man, somebody who assured his workspace was tidy whenever possible to assure. While he was definitely no stranger to become dirty, he nonetheless preferred to avoid those situations when permitted. When the dog laid down and barked, Hao's attention returned to him.
"You better behave yourself," Hao stated sternly, subtle anger to his voice.
Slowly, the guardian rose from the bench with the knowledge his hands would not get any cleaner. The paper bag was grabbed before Hao carefully grasped his tea. The cup itself was grabbed, Hao determined to never allow his freshly dirtied hands to touch the lid; he was required to sip from there... Behind him, the dog whimpered, resulting in the guardian glancing over his shoulder.
"Now come on," Hao grumbled.
While the husky caused him trouble already, the bespectacled man was still determined to seek the owner. Somebody needed to help the filthy canine find his way home. The task would be difficult, but the author wanted to make an effort for the friendly creature.
Pride waited patiently this time, although patience wasn't his strong suit. He had attempted to climb onto the male, and failed. the male's anger was easily read by the white, and dirty, husky. He laid quietly on the ground feeling the man's sternness in his voice after he told him to behave himself. Pride huffed at the man wanting to be treated a little better than the man had been treating him. Pride was a hopelessly lost dog, and he was sticking around the man for the attention now. Pride loved getting attention from others, and this man seemed amply difficult to get attention out of. Pride saw it as a challenge, he was still aiming to be pet, and if it meant listening for a little bit then so be it, he would listen.
Pride raised his butt into the air, the front of his body still laying carefully on the ground in front of the man. Pride was looking to bring out some sign of happiness from the man now, and by playing with him he thought he could perhaps change his tune. When the man got up from the bench Pride darted backwards, keeping his butt in the air and his chest low to the ground, meaning that he was trying to play with the man. He darted from side to side around the man. He kept his playful posture, and happy little barks as he did so. Pride was still not planning on leaving until he got at least one pat from the man. Pride's playful attitude did die out when the wind changed as he once again sniffed through the air to pick out the new scents located upstream from the wind.
Pride stood normally again on all fours facing the man with an irritated look in his eyes. When was he going to get the pats? Pride groaned looking up into the man's eyes almost as if saying. "Hey, do I get pets yet?" Pride trotted up to the man's legs, keeping at least an arms length from the man's reach. Pride was making this transaction easy for him. His body language spelled out "pet me" By the way he approached the man from the side. Pride looked up at him, sticking his tongue out as he breathed before slipping it back up into his snout.
The smells of the animals in the area were getting too enticing to be left alone. Pride didn't know how much longer he was going to be willing to wait here for pets, as to the guys plans for him, Pride had no idea of his intentions, but he stayed close to the man regardless, but only for the time being.
As Hao stood, his chestnut-coloured eyes analyzed the condition of his clothing further. Filthy animals were something the dark-haired man disliked, especially when they decided to share the dirt. While Hao was never somebody fixated entirely physical appearance, he nonetheless despised getting dirty. Clothes would be ruined in mere seconds because an animal decided they would cover him in absolute filth. Unfortunately, the action was completed and Hao was unable to change attire until he found the owner and returned home.
The husky's huff resulted in an annoyed eye roll to cross Hao's face. The navy-haired man was never particularly excellent at manifesting connections with animals, especially those who were hyper. All Hao desired was for the mysterious dog was to discover the owner and return the playful husky to his precious loved ones, however, these unexpected and unwanted difficulties made the situation ill-favourable for Hao. Alas, the misfortunes of earlier would be set aside in favour of assisting the poor creature he found fending for himself on the streets.
Based on the dog's posture, he desired to play, however, the guardian made the highest goal finding the husky's proper owner. Playtime could wait until the unfortunate husky could return to his proper owner and perhaps had a well-needed bath... Slowly, Hao began heading towards the nearest garbage can, hoping to throw away his trash. As Hao moved towards the trash bin, the canine trotted behind, following as the dark-haired man requested. The husky proceeded to display the body language the guardian was familiar with because of the dog's playful attitude.
The friendly creature desired pets, love and affection, a common wish of domestic animals. A soft sigh escaped Hao's mouth, the bespectacled man approaching the garbage can and throwing out the paper bag. Afterwards, he hesitantly brought his hand to the husky head to provide a small pet to the top of his head, something simple. The dark-haired man's hands were already filthy, thus he decided to give the mysterious dog some affection. Once the pets were provided, Hao slowly pulled his hand away before taking a quick, cautious sip of tea.
Stress was discovered on this day which was supposed to be pleasant and muse-inspiring, however, Hao instead found himself wrapped in a questionable situation.
Pride followed the man who showed nothing but irritation on his face. Following beside him as he approached a trash-bin. Pride sniffed the air smelling all the contents in the trash bin, and low and behold there was in fact food inside the trash-bin. He waited patiently for the man to finish using the trash-bin. His patience was rewarded with a small pat on the top of the head. Pride was very happy with this little act of kindness, and it made all of his wishes with the encounter fulfilled. Pride was happy, and now that he had gotten what he wanted whatever the male beside him wanted became irrelevant. The first thing Pride did was hop onto the bench beside the trash-bin, and then began to dig his head into the trash-bin. He dug around before pulling out a half-eaten submarine sandwich. After throwing a few things out of the trash-bin, along with the sandwich, Pride trotted up to the sandwich, again not thinking much about the man nearby.
Pride barked happily at his new discovery, his tail-wagging with glee. Their was a paper bag around the sandwich but Pride found a way to bite the thing off, and began going for the innards of the sandwich which was the meaty sections of the cold-cut. After devouring the sandwich Pride once again returned to the attention of the man before him. His eyes darted up to the man amidst the mess he had now created by pulling out the sandwich from the trash-bin. He stared curiously at him wondering what exactly the man was thinking. However sure enough something of a different nature caught his attention. THERE WAS A SQUIRREL! Pride darted to the squirrel, this time nothing of immediate attention distracting him from chasing said squirrel.
The squirrel quickly darted back up a nearby tree leaving Pride at the base of the tree. Pride chased the squirrel as far as he could, even doing so much as to put two paws on the tree to make it seem like he could in fact climb the tree. The squirrel seemed to pull of some victory taunt from above as Pride barked up the tree at the squirrel in agony. After finishing his business with the squirrel Pride simply trotted off to the east. He had no intention of going back to the man, he had nothing really to offer now, and Pride was still hungry so it was time to search the rest of the park, and see what else he could catch/find.
Dogs were difficult to handle according to the behaviours demonstrated by the filthy husky. The creature was jumpy, hyper and demanding in terms of attention. Unfortunately for the furry animal, Hao was more interested in attempting to search for his owner, the individual who knew the sordid canine best. Items were thrown into the trash, a simple pat being a method to make the husky content. Afterwards, the author turned, planning to leave under the impression the filthy husky would follow behind him, however, he was sorely mistaken.
Suddenly, the filthy husky lept onto the nearby bench, the sounds of paws colliding with wood prompting Hao to glance over his shoulder where he discovered the creature. The writer's lips parted to speak, however, before words could escape his lips, the trashcan was rummaged through. Garbage left the large cylinder's hole, landing onto the ground and creating a big mess. From paper bags, styrofoam cups, pop cans and food wrappers, plenty of garbage was carelessly flung onto the grass without hesitation from the husky.
From the trash, the dog fetched food, dragging it out while leaving the garbage on the floor. An irritated sigh escaped the author's mouth after the mess created by the animal.
"No! You don't do that," Hao informed the dog, attempting to sound authoritative.
While the squalid husky devoured the food he discovered, Hao placed his tea onto the bench and began picking up the remnants of trash. Each piece was returned to the garbage receptacle, the author steadily cleaning the dog's mess. He failed to notice the squirrel, only turning when the rushed sounds of paws on grass reached his ears.
"Hey! Come back!" He called, but to no avail.
Within moments, the dog was gone, the creature's superior speed aiding in its escape. A soft sigh escaped Hao's lips, his sullied clothes being for null with the dog gone. The author returned to his drink, grabbing his tea and walking around the park in hopes of finding the husky, however, he failed to accomplish his task. The bespectacled man could only hope the canine would find his owner or somebody more capable of handling a rambunctious husky. The author retreated from the public, returning home to clean his soiled garbs, shower and attempt another method to find muse.
