Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Phoenix had made a promise to meet up with Yves and he'd be damned if he didn't make it there on time. Of course things had to come to a halt when he had gotten a phone call. To his utter annoyance, it was somebody in his assassin's group. Too bad for them, he was on his way to see Yves, so they would have to put up with the danger they put themselves in until he was good and ready to help them out. It was their own fault for getting in this mess anyway. Already being dressed to arrive at Yves place, he started his walk. Despite enjoying his hexes he had taken notice to Yves' reaction one time and figured out that he could feel it, meaning he'd know when ever he cut himself to create a hex. He honestly didn't want Yves knowing when exactly he was arriving. He had promised he'd be right there, but it had been a bit. Hopefully Yves didn't move from his spot. Not that he'd be punished if he had chosen to do so anyway, he would never do that to his Yves, but he had honestly believed it to be in Yves best interest not to bother.
He had noticed the home coming into view, once at the door he slowly reached out to knock on the door. He would then pull his phone out, checking for any possible messages as he waited for somebody to answer the door. He was somewhat curious if it would be Yves or if it would be his older brother. It seemed each time that he saw his older brother, that man was cautions around him, within reason of course. Though he had to explain how he was much older than Yves, to this day he couldn't help but be wary of Yves' brother believing him. He looked fourteen after all. Well so long as the man didn't point it out to him again, he would try and push those annoyed thoughts aside, to punish somebody else far more worthy of it. To his great pleasure, the door finally opened, meaning he'd finally be able to see his Yves as he promised. The real question was, had he truly moved from his spot, only time would tell.
Panic settled heavily on Yves' shoulders as he threw his phone down on the bed, quickly sitting up and standing from where he originally one. Several papers neatly tidied in a binder while the textbook remained opened on his bed, prepared to proceed in completing the homework assignment given by his educational assistant. There were plenty of questions, but a majority appeared to be perplexing the white-haired amnesiac. Trigonometry was proving to be a rather difficult subject for him to grasp, although, Yves tended to have many difficulties in schooling. English and history were currently his strongest subjects, but math and sciences proved to be subjects which he struggled in greatly. Unfortunately, there was little time to continue pondering as the white-haired man became privy to information regarding his long-time crush, Phoenix Collins. The pleasant man would be coming over to assist him with the struggles he was having with his homework, and Yves had not showered today. There was no hesitation as the young man entered the bathroom, slamming the door shut and turning the lock. Once inside he ran the water and stripped to shower.
[break][break]
The actions of cleaning were hastily accomplished, Yves starting to dampen and wash his hair once inside the shower. There was a calming sensation as droplets of water hit his back, the pleasant warmth from a shower soothing the young man as he cleaned up. Once his hair and flesh were properly cleansed, the white-haired wraith exited the shower and turned off the water. Promptly, a towel was grabbed to dry himself off, each action being done carefully. There was a quick glance around, shock breaching Yves' features as he realized he never grabbed a fresh pair of clothes before entering the shower.
[break][break]
"Oh no," he murmured in a squeaky voice.
[break][break]
The towel was wrapped tightly around him, Yves covering his chest because of his extreme bashfulness to people seeing his body; he would not even allow Gabe to catch a glimpse. When the fabric was wrapped around him, the young wraith hesitantly opened the bathroom door, relief flooding into him after realizing Gabe was still not home. A soft sigh escaped his lips as he began hurrying to his room until hearing the frightening sound of somebody knocking on the front door. Immediately, the wraith's red eyes widened as a yelp of surprise escaped his lips. A single hand held the towel in place while he turned, hand circling his mouth to call towards the door.
[break][break]
"I-I just need a minute!" He exclaimed.
[break][break]
Hastily, the wraith scurried through the threshold into his room, shutting and locking his bedroom door before gathering fresh clothes. Boxers, shirt and pants were speedily tugged over his naked form, Yves adjusting every piece until assuring perfection, however, when he glanced in the mirror, a gasp escaped his lips. Evidently, his white hair remained a wild mess since he rushed to his room without taming the locks with the bristles of a brush. Nervousness settled in as he remembered Phoenix was waiting outside the door, thus Yves sprinted towards his door, unlocking it and hurrying to the washroom to tame his hair. The actions were recklessly accomplished, the wraith tidying his hair and narrowly remembering to grab a bottle of cologne to spray on his chest; the scent was rather flowery, more feminine than most male scents. Once completed, an anxious man exited the washroom, moving slowly towards the front door. Briefly, he paused, slightly nervous about allowing Phoenix into the clean house; he even glanced behind him to assure everything was properly in place. Hesitantly, he reached for the doorknob, slowly turning it and revealing the brown-haired man on the other side.
[break][break]
"H-hi," he shyly greeted. "Sorry for the wait..."
[break][break]
Bashfully, Yves glanced towards the ground, hands clinging to the edge of the white shirt he wore. The attire he chose was simplistic, jeans with a white shirt, although, the wraith lacked socks because of his rushing. Admittedly, he had hoped to throw a male blouse over his shirt to create an appearance which a majority found pleasant, but he ran out of time.

Phoenix had knocked on the door, hearing a faint noise about how the person would be just a minute. It sounded like to him that it was Yves, instead of being worried about him possibly moving, he felt a great need in adoring his crush. Yves was just so adorable. He could hear faint noises of doors opening and closing, he wasn't sure if that was Yves or his brother but he wasn't about to judge, choosing to practice his patience at the door instead. Though once the door had opened, he couldn't help but smile slightly when Yves had greeted him shyly. "Hi." He answered, noticing already that Yves likely moved from his spot. There was a strong odor in the air, implying shower, new cologne and to top it off, Yves wasn't wearing any socks. Oh well, what could he do? He was under the belief Yves would do what he wanted so there was no point in telling him otherwise, but that wouldn't keep him from teasing his crush.
"You moved." He chuckled as he teased Yves, having no problem proving his reason behind the comment if necessary. Though he honestly didn't believe that it would come to that. "Can I come in?" He asked, normally he would go in without question but since it was Yves, he wanted to be respectful of his privacy, even though it took a lot of effort to control his own actions. He would wait for the welcoming before going inside, choosing instead to think about their text messages. First homework, then they could talk about the activities mentioned in the text earlier today. Thankfully it seemed like his brother wasn't home, so they wouldn't be interrupted for a while.
Quietly, Yves kneaded the edges of his shirt as he attempted to slowly calm himself. There was something special about Phoenix which resulted in the white-haired wraith experiencing immense bashfulness whenever he was exposed to the brown-haired man. For months, the amnesiac had been crushing hard on the adorable man who filled his life with numerous positive memories. While the hellhound could occasionally be hot-headed, Yves always found himself enjoying the man's company. Sociable, independent and brave, everything about his personality was attractive to the wraith, resulting in red blossoming onto Yves' cheek from the mere thought of Phoenix's allure. There was silence from the white-haired man, the faint red remaining on his cheeks while his heart began speeding up. Hopefully, his cologne would emit an attractive scent and his style, while rushed, would be adequate to impress the brunette he cared for dearly. Breaths were faster than average, Yves becoming extremely nervous about being in the handsome man's presence. The pair of words which left Phoenix's mouth resulted in the wraith stiffening as he easily deduced that he hurried to get ready.
[break][break]
"S-sorry!" Yves squeaked in response to the teasing.
[break][break]
Shyly, the wraith glanced away, frightened of the possibility of potentially receiving punishment for disobeying Phoenix, although, it became evident the comment was light-hearted. Breathing was consciously regulated, Yves managing a sheepish smile when the brunette requested to enter the house. A slow nod became his response, the white-haired man took a few slow steps back to allow the hellhound inside. Together, they would solve his math homework, which was a notion that provided both trepidation and excitement because of the possibility of spending personal time with Phoenix. Once the brunette entered, the wraith closed the door behind him before pausing, gasping. Immediately, he scurried to his room, glancing over his shoulder momentarily.
[break][break]
"I-i need my books!" He exclaimed as he returned to his room.
[break][break]
Hastily, he gathered his textbook, binder and snatched up a handful of pencils and finally his phone which held his calculator. With items juggling in his arms, Yves hurried out of his room, attempting to steady the items. The kitchen table was the location where the white-haired wraith wanted to settle down the items.

Phoenix couldn't help but find Yves adorable. Instead of continuing with his teasing he remained quiet instead. He asked, waiting for an answering before proceeding inside with his invite. Yves had stepped aside and he walked inside, pausing at the door because he wanted to walk with Yves, not ahead of him. He couldn't help but chuckle when he heard Yves comment, it was just so adorable. He watched as Yves fled to his bedroom. Slowly he walked until he reached the kitchen, he then proceeded inside before pulling the chair out to take a seat, waiting for Yves to return. He could hear Yves down the hall, most likely with his stuff in hand as he made his way towards the kitchen. It sounded like the stuff was juggling in is grip but since he had already sat down and Yves hadn't called for assistance, he remained in his spot as he waited.
It wasn't long before he saw Yves, another smile crept on his face as he came to realize what exactly they would be doing during this visit. Some innocent homework discussion. He remained quiet as he watched his crush, curious his next move. I still need to talk about the text with him, just to make sure he still wanted to proceed with the carnival tomorrow. He thought to himself, knowing that he had planned to see Yves tomorrow but when homework was mentioned he had decided to come over to try and help despite having no idea on the learning material. Thankfully he had already told Yves and his friend wanted him to come over anyway.
Enhanced dexterity secretly worked behind Yves' steps as he proceeded to walk across the cold wooden floor which surrounded his feet. Once he arrived at the table, he dumped the books, pencils and his phone onto the kitchen table. The items thumped against the wooden surface of the table, piling onto it in a messy manner, sliding until steadying. Pencils collided with the surface, rolling across the table in random directions as Yves quickly organized the items across the surface until hearing a pencil collide with the tiled floor of the carpet. A quiet squeak escaped his mouth, the sound easily startling the jumpy wraith. Hastily, the white-haired man ceased organization and plucked the pencil from the floor, placing it onto the table and gathering the pencils together into a small row of writing utensils. Red graced his cheeks, making it obvious Yves was embarrassed from being startled by a falling pencil. Pencils were definitely not frightening tools, and he managed to release a startled squeak from the minor incident, a pathetic achievement he believed. Quickly, Yves sorted the books, placing the textbook between himself and Phoenix while his binder's looseleaf remained closest to him.
[break][break]
Quickly, he grabbed a pencil before sparing a brief glance at Phoenix. His crush appeared lovely, the benevolent decision to assist the wraith with his homework resulting in Yves' heart beating rapidly at the thought of getting help from somebody he enjoyed the company of one. A deep breath was welcomed into the white-haired man's lung before being slowly exhaled in an attempt to gain calmness.
[break][break]
"Um... I... I'm doing trig... trig-o-nometry," Yves explained awkwardly to his crush.
[break][break]
Under most circumstances, Yves and his educational assistance shortened the word to simply 'trig' since it was easier to remember the name for the amnesiac. There was a quick glance over the remaining questions before the wraith looked back to the neatly written work on his lined paper. Anxiety filled the man as he worried about his answers were incorrect, but he never thought about checking the back pages to assure his answers were correct, which a majority were. The incorrect answers were instances where he forgot the proper fractions to procure the answers.

Phoenix watched Yves set his stuff on the table, items moved across the table, a pencil going as far as to fall onto the floor. He smiled when Yves had squeaked, adorable as ever. He watched as Yves bent over to pick it up and yet he remained seated, waiting for Yves to request assistants from him if he wanted it. As soon as the pencils were organized as were the rest of the stuff, he watched his embarrassed crush glance at him once he was ready to work on his homework. He listened when Yves told him what homework he was working on, he couldn't help but find himself remaining rusty at the idea of doing homework once more. Thankfully it was Yves' homework and he was only here to assist with it. "I see." He answered, looking at Yves with a small smile remaining on his face.
Now if he could recall, there were likely answers in the back of the book but he was here to help not give answers away, which meant he would need to assist with giving him the proper formal so that he could get the correct answers that way. Though checking to make sure the answer was correct, he saw no harm in peeking in the back of the book just to be sure. It was in the middle of working on homework that he decided it was time to muster up the courage to ask Yves his question, "Were you still interested in going to the carnival tomorrow?" He asked, hoping that this question wasn't too much of a distraction from working on the homework. He liked the idea of multi-tasking so if Yves was serious about going, he'd have to reach out to his peers to make sure they know not to contact him. For the sake of having private time with Yves.
Red remained painted across Yves' cheeks as he stationed himself in the chair, textbook, binder and pencils properly assembled in front of him in preparation for upcoming homework. Anxiety remained high as the wraith glanced towards Phoenix before flitting back to the binder. A deep breath entered his lungs, Yves carefully scooting his chair closer to his crush, the items required for homework being slid closer as well. The calming breaths proceeded as the white-haired man prayed his earlier fright created by a pencil falling did not result in Phoenix believing he was pathetic. Self-consciously, Yves worried about the opinions of others, but most importantly, his brunette crush who filled his days with endless happiness. Benevolent and sweet were the traits which described Phoenix, especially considering he was the knight who arrived to assist in helping with his homework. Slowly, the wraith grabbed the pencil and patiently waited, warranting Phoenix a moment to review the assignment and know exactly what he would be assisting with. Quietly, the wraith watched as the hellhound assessed the information, slowly becoming entranced by Phoenix's handsome face as he read the information.
[break][break]
When his crush's eyes flitted towards him, a smile lighting his face which resulted in Yves' heart fluttering wildly in response. Witnessing a smile stretch across Phoenix's face was incredible. The redness of his blush increased as the wraith bashfully glanced away from his crush. Gradually, they dived into the work, Yves struggling near the beginning because of his flustered emotions making it difficult to focus, but promptly entered a pattern. As they continued through the work, the amnesiac began getting a better grasp on trigonometry as time proceeded. Midway through the study lesson, Yves heard Phoenix inquire about the carnival which promptly resulted in Yves' heart racing in response as red blossomed on his cheeks. An enthusiastic nod was provided, the wraith refusing to allow his opportunity to spend time with Phoenix slip away.
[break][break]
"Y-yes, please!" He exclaimed.
[break][break]
Immediately, the blush intensified as Yves realized how loud his exclamation was. Inside his chest, the wraith's heart thumped against his sternum as he glanced away to hide the embarrassed expression on his face.

Phoenix had read over the material as to make sure that he understood it as much as possible as he attempted to help Yves with his math homework. There were times when it seemed the answer wasn't coming out correctly that he was reminded the answers were at the back of the book, so he saw no harm in peeking at the back pages as to glance over the answers before attempting to get that answer on his own before helping Yves get it, refusing to give the answer right off the bat. It was in the middle of helping with homework that he had changed the subject back to a conversation they had by text before he arrived here. When Yves exclaimed his answer, he found himself rather amused. "So adorable." He answered when Yves blushed after making his comment. "Then tomorrow we shall go." He answered, promising that he wouldn't allow anything to get in the way of their plans tomorrow.
Oh how memories started flooding back into his mind, upon first meeting Yves he was just like anybody else, though as innocent as he was, Phoenix wouldn't allow himself to make connections with him, though remained friendly towards him until they had built a friendship, or maybe it was more like Yves built it and he stopped trying to push him away. Though feelings had started to form upon wanting to linger around his friend longer until he started missing him when they weren't around each other anymore but he couldn't tell Yves about his job, he ran the risk of being rejected or worse, putting Yves in harms way. So despite having feelings for his friend, he refused to ask him out, fearful of what the public would think when they saw an adult with an adult who appeared no older than the age of fourteen. Well that was only a reason, another was he seriously didn't want his enemies finding out his weakness and using Yves against him.
Homework was becoming easier as Phoenix assisted Yves in a positive manner, resulting in a small smile remaining on the white-haired man's face as they worked together to learn trigonometry. Fantasies roamed through the amnesiac's head, his thoughts fixating on the notion of impressing his educational assistance making him extremely excited. Under most circumstances, he returned requiring help with numerous questions, thus potentially receiving praise for finding somebody to assist him with the material made Yves happy. However, when inquired about tomorrow's "date", the wraith's excitement and fantasizing fixated on a different target. Hope filled Yves, the amnesiac keeping his primary goal in mind for this particular date, this one was related to potentially displaying his best traits to convince Phoenix to request a relationship. Months after becoming closer to the hellhound, the wraith began crushing hard on the incredible individual who manifested endless joy. The compliment on his adorable reaction made the blush more intense. Red covered Yves' face entirely, cheeks, the bridge of his nose and even his forehead as he became flustered.
[break][break]
Inside his chest, Yves' heart slammed into his sternum, nervous excitement over Phoenix's opinion transcending over the white-haired amnesiac. The agreement to take him to the carnival made a bashful smile touch, although, Yves glanced away to hide the red blush.
[break][break]
"Th-thank you," he responded quietly.
[break][break]
There were slight hints of happiness evident in Yves' voice as he gleefully thought about their incredible day to arrive at the carnival. Any days spent alongside Phoenix were among the greatest in the young wraith's life, thus excitement filled his veins. Tomorrow would definitely become a fantastic day, but first, he needed to accomplish his homework.
[attr="class","onlytimeright"]

[attr="class","onlytimelyric1"]one day, i will wake from
Phoenix was pleased that he was able to help Yves with his homework, having none done any for years. He had changed the subject to tomorrows plans. He enjoyed watching Yves getting flustered even though he was determined as ever to keep them from getting closer than friends. If it wasn't for the fact he didn't want to risk getting close to anybody else it was to avoid anybody else becoming a target by being close to him in the first place. The subject had been dropped just as quickly as it had started, now that their plans were set in stone the only thing left to do was make sure his day was free tomorrow and Yves finished his homework. His phone went off, he had planned to contact later when he wasn't nearby Yves but seeing as it had and he needed to have this conversation anyway, he excused himself from the table so that Yves could work on his homework peacefully as he took his phone call. As always, his assassins sometimes found themselves in trouble and it was his responsibility to get them out of this mess.
He had moved into the living room so that he wasn't too far away from Yves, as to be able to keep an eye on him while on the phone at the same time. In the middle of his conversation he had taken notice of this buzzing noise, at first he tried swatting it away with his hand because it continued flying towards him. But after a couple of seconds, the phone call had turned for the worst, allowing him to become angry and that damn fly happened to fly in his face once more. "BE QUIET!" He snapped, reaching out he caught the fly in his fist before squeezing closed, most likely killing it. He was silent for a moment, thinking of how he would go about handling things before answering, "I will talk to you about this later." Just because he wasn't yelling anymore, hadn't meant they were safe from his wrath. He was quick to hang up despite the pleading on the other end of the phone call. Shoving the phone back into his pocket, he fled down the hall to find a bathroom so that he could flush the dead fly down the toilet before turning the water on to wash his hands clean.
Gleefully, Yves’ legs kicked back and forth, excitement overflowing through his body at the sheer thought of enjoying an entire day of carnival adventures and time with Phoenix. Concentrating on homework became a difficult task the longer the white-haired wraith pondered tomorrow’s outing. Part of him wished Gabe could attend, but Yves oftentimes assumed his big brother needed to work. Furthermore, private time with his crush would allow for an improved connection between them, the young wraith praying the hellhound would notice him more romantically. There were dreams about Phoenix dressing in formal wear and requesting him for a dance, although, those fantasies would need to wait. Imagining these ideas resulted in a faint, pink hue touching Yves' cheeks as he proceeded with homework. Joy, excitement and nervous manifested in the white-haired man, mingling together as Phoenix continued assisting him with the trigonometry homework. Their plans were created, making for happiness and excitement, however, Yves remained anxious as he stayed close to the hellhound throughout the homework assistance. Those were the natural emotions which settled in whenever he enjoyed time with his crush, but he was only bothered by the self-consciousness which occasionally entered his mind.
[break][break]
The sounds of a phone notification echoed through the kitchen, Yves glancing around briefly until he noticed Phoenix produce his phone. Momentarily, the wraith watched as his crush excused himself from the table to answer his cellphone. Presumably, the call was from work, making Yves wonder if it was related to his magician work or perhaps the second job he was unaware of until recently. Quietly, the young wraith proceeded on his homework, refusing to make noise to avoid interrupting Phoenix's phone call. As he gradually managed through a few questions, Yves suddenly got startled by an abrupt outburst behind him. Immediately, he stiffened, eyes widening as Phoenix snapped. Attention was entirely provided to the current situation, Yves checking over his shoulder where he noticed the hellhound walking in a different direction. Worry touched Yves' face, his eyes softening and a small frown reaching his lips. In a careful motion, he slid from the chair, quickly walking over the cold floor to follow Phoenix, and from a distance, Yves realized where his crush was. A gasp escaped the wraith's throat as he noticed the man near the toilet, which implied the hellhound merely wished to use the facilities.
[break][break]
Several backpedalled steps were taken before the white-haired man turned, scurrying towards the kitchen table, his heart racing rapidly. He jumped into his seat, settling quickly as his face turned a bright shade of embarrassed red. Breaths were quicker as he stared ahead, refusing to turn even as he heard the gentle flushing sound.

Phoenix once good mood had been turned upset down just because of a phone call gone wrong. Oh how he hated dealing with idiots and yet they were assassins and he was their leader, so of course he would have to put up with the bull shit that came with the leader role whether he liked it or not. He hadn't meant to startle Yves but instead of checking up on the boy, he had ended his phone call and started walking towards the bathroom to toss the dead fly in the toilet. He had heard the sound of light foot steps as he was flushing the fly down the toilet, glancing over, he had see the back of Yves when he had fled back towards the kitchen, most likely mistaking the sight in front of him. He washed his hands, before getting his face wet before turning the water off. He would then dry his hands before exiting the bathroom. He had heard Yves take a seat as he slowly made his way towards the kitchen. He moved to take a seat next to him. "Are you alright? You look like you have a fever." He answered, knowing being flustered was possible but he wanted to push that thought as far away from his mind as much as possible.
Having a relationship was impossible because that would mean he made relationships with other people which meant they would become at risk of possibly being harmed. "I was flushing a fly down the toilet, nothing else." He answered, trying to assure Yves that he hadn't seen anything. Not that he felt a great need to explain himself to Yves or anybody else for that matter, but he was all for having the door closed when he wished to use the bathroom. So it was a little surprising that Yves had gotten flustered over seeing him standing over it even if it was brief. "Anyways, back to your homework. If you have a fever, we'll be here working on your homework tomorrow instead." He answered, figuring it might be the best encouragement to help Yves get it done so that nothing would stand in their way for tomorrow, well not unless Yves really got sick.
Flustered, embarrassed and nervous, Yves' fingers erratically tapped against the edge of the table, the wraith attempting to avoid displaying his inner emotions; usually when anxious, he wrung his hands. Unfortunately, the intense mortification of potentially witnessing Phoenix in a private moment was nerve-wracking to the amnesiac. There were certain parts of the body considered private, clandestine views reserved for romantically intimate individual or under circumstances of requiring medical assistance. Those were the only situations where somebody could see what Yves believed he nearly viewed. Nervous breaths quickly entered Yves' lungs, exiting hastily because of the building anxieties. What if Phoenix thought he was a pervert?! Should his crush had happened to notice his peeking, there could be an upsetting incident to come.
[break][break]
The nervousness was amped up when he heard footsteps approaching the table, an anxious squeak escaping Yves' mouth as he scooted his seat closer to the table. The inquiry about his health state made the wraith stiffen, as he attempted a nervous grin at his crush, however, it remained awkwardly large.
[break][break]
"J-just fine!" He exclaimed quickly.
[break][break]
Initially, Yves believed he could successfully create the illusion of never moving from the table, however, he was promptly proven wrong when Phoenix explained his behaviour. The redness consumed the wraith's face as he glanced away, thoroughly flustered by his crush witnessing his concern peek into the washroom.
[break][break]
"I'M SORRY!" He exclaimed, evidently apologetic about peeking in while Phoenix was in the facilities. "I... I was worried! You shouted and I wanted to make sure you were okay!"
[break][break]
The embarrassed wraith had nothing else to say in reaction to what he could have potentially seen if Phoenix was indeed using the washroom. Eventually, everything returned to the homework, Yves gasping when his crush stated they would work on homework if he had a fever. Immediately, the white-haired amnesiac snatched the pencil and settled down to start working on the trigonometry homework.

Phoenix found himself observing Yves when he came back to the table, taking a seat next to him before he made his comments. He couldn't help but find Yves adorable, being red in the face like that. Oh how he craved to be the reason behind him being like that once more. Wait no, I can't have such thoughts. He thought to himself, trying to ignore the urge to hug Yves. He listened to Yves apology before explaining why he had followed him to the bathroom. How much of my conversation had he noticed? Oh man.... I hope he didn't hear me say too much... It worried him that Yves might have heard his conversation even though he mentioned only the shouting part. "Yeah... it was work. No need to worry about it though because I'll handle it later." He answered, trying assure Yves.
He didn't want to worry him, even though deep down he was still mad at that idiot for messing up on the job like that. He had mentioned the homework to encourage Yves to be distracted and frankly he did view it as important to finish, so he was pleased to see Yves start up on it again without question. I have a feeling tomorrow is going to turn into some sort of major event.... I mean I need to make sure everybody knows not to contact me during his time... Wait, why is it Yves time? I need to quit arguing with myself, I want to focus on my friend, there isn't any other reason. He thought to himself, sighing when he finally managed to stop thinking about it. "Let me know if you'd like my assistance with your homework still...." He answered, wishing for that distraction.
