Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,
The Staff

Adults were always difficult for Neviah to interact with. The pressure of displaying maturity to impress those considered superior was a challenging task. Okay, Neviah! Best behaviour! It was among the only thoughts crossing her mind as she was mentally prepared for the impending interaction. She wanted to impress as any young child would. The thought of accomplishing such a task excited her, alas, her confidence was dastardly low. No matter the circumstance, the witch prodigy discovered endless difficulties in maintaining high self-esteem.
[break][break]
Across the stranger's face exhibited friendliness through the availability of a smile. Throughout the woman's apology, Neviah's eyes anxiously wandered. They occasionally glanced over her face before hastily escaping the sight despite the kindness being exerted. They returned to her face, then strayed to watch the trees or rain droplets ripple in puddles or the boring sidewalk... Despite her wavering sight on the woman, she listened to every single word she spoke with success. The stranger was searching for her friend's house and her name was Aelin, it was a start.
Her voice spoke softly, a slight fragileness manifested by innate anxiety around others. Nothing the blonde accomplished was off-putting. The young teen simply lacked social tools and the ones she formerly possessed were tainted by the death of her parents. Thus, she found herself struggling with the interaction. Nonetheless, she found herself hoping she could potentially please the woman by assisting her with finding her friend's home. She wanted a walk, therefore, she may as well assist her.

Persistent tapping against the water-resistant coating of Neviah's umbrella echoed in her ears. The tranquil beauty of an afternoon rain shower eased the young girl. Plenty happened that resulted in a frightful discourse in the pink-haired girl's life. Several melancholic events haunted the young prodigy, but she attempted to maintain a strong disposition. The loss of her parents kept her from altering the paths of the future... and from involving herself in TRS affairs. The witch was trained in fighting against terrors, but she would never dare try.
[break][break]
Soft clouds of steam flowed between her lips, hastily fading away in the chill of the rain. Curiously, her eyes wandered, watching the ripples of drops landing in puddles, rustling sway of tree branches and forms moving by lit windows. Occasionally, a car buzzed by, their windshield wipers working overtime. The atmosphere of a rainy day surrounded Neviah, and she enjoyed every precious second. As her eyes observed her surroundings, she failed to detect the approaching woman until she heard the sounds of her footsteps.
[break][break]
Surprised by the sounds of another rainy day stroller, Neviah's eyes flitted forward. Her pink optics observed a woman with long tresses of rich blonde hair. Instinctively, the young fortune teller glanced over the woman's features. The ill-suited footwear and well-used umbrella being indicators of somebody given no choices on whether she walked in rain or shine. As closeness existed, Neviah, for a fleeting glance, managed to notice brown eyes, however, of what shade she failed to distinguish. The shy teen's eyes matched gazes with the woman's feet as the distance closed.
[break][break]
Only when the stranger spoke did Neviah's eyes hesitantly drifted upwards. Briefly, she connected eyes as she listened to the inquiry in regards to directions. Afterwards, they drifted away as the pink-haired girl nodded.
[break][break]
"I know my way around," she answered shyly. "Wh-what do you need?
[break][break]
The young witch struggled in social engagements, especially with strangers who were adults. There was always more pressure in the interaction! Almost as though she would be required to act maturely to please those older. Around her parents, it never existed, however, the few guests who were invited to their home? They politely would ask Neviah to act respectfully and be on her best behaviour. Unintentionally, it resulted in the meek girl concerning herself over their opinions and whether she displayed the maturity befitting of a Laine.

Pitter, tap, rustle. Silently, a pink-haired girl stared through the large window of her temporary home. Pink eyes blinked as she stared at clouds releasing their sorrows upon the world. Grey clouds always made the world appear dreary, yet, the peaceful sounds of rhythmic tapping was a soother her heart sought. She remained in her chair, watching the droplets tap against her bedroom window. Was it strange that she wheeled her pink-accented computer chair away from her desk to merely observe? Homework finished minutes ago, pencil absently sitting on freshly written out math equations.
[break][break]
A gentle 'hmm' escaped her closed lips, head softly tilting to the side. The young Neviah Laine, perched on her chair, was always indifferent about rain. As much as she enjoyed the summer heat, the rain was a necessity for one of her favourite items, flowers. Minutes of watching passed before the student stood from her seat. She retreated from the window, hands delicately grabbing the backrest of her chair. She wheeled it to its original position by her desk. A soft clink sounded as the chair bumped into the birchwood desk she adored.
[break][break]
From there, her flawless hands reached for her cellphone. The iPhone was adorned with a pink bunny case with large eyes, eyelashes and a cutesy little grin. Her middle finger clicked the on button, discovering no messages lighting up her phone; she was greeted by her lock screen wallpaper which was a bouquet of pink roses. The young girl paused a moment, not bothered by the lack of friends lighting up her device. The gentle tapping of rain returned her eyes to the window as drops slithered down the translucent surface.
[break][break]
She wanted to go outside...
[break][break]
Phone in hand, Neviah trotted towards her closet, fetching a rose-pink raincoat with a hood; if nobody could notice, her favoured colour was pink. She tugged the sleeves over the white turtleneck sweater, each button being carefully fastened together. The coat reached below her calves, leaving her to pray her black leggings would protect her against the remaining cold. The student's hands tugged the fringes of the hood, bringing it over her short, well-maintained pink hair. The phone was deposited into the jacket's pocket, the button being done over it to avoid possible water damage.
[break][break]
Strides towards her bedroom door were taken, the handle grabbed and opened as she escaped her confines. Each step brought her closer, the young girl weaving through hallways until she reached the home's foyer; an open area where the house met the front door. She opened the shoe closet, hands reaching for her rubber boots with a floral pattern on them; in pink of course! Smoothly, she slipped her slender feet into the boots. Moments later her hand procured a white umbrella from the closet. Once prepared, she opened the door.
[break][break]
The refreshing scent of rain hit her as she took a deep breath. A calmness transcended over her despite the damp cold surrounding her small body. A step was taken onto the front deck, Neviah remaining beneath the roof structured. The door was closed behind her, eyes wandering the area. Everything was so quiet... the only sounds being her breathing and the pitter of raindrops. For a moment, she fumbled with her umbrella, fingers managing to push the center ring to the top, opening the rain shield. With that accomplished, the young girl hesitantly stepped out from her protection.
[break][break]
Rain tapped against her umbrella as she entered the dreary weather, her boots splashing in tiny puddles. The adolescent's eyes wandered the neighbour, contemplation clear in the pink hues of her eyes. Perhaps a walk around the block? A delicate smile curled onto her face. Yes, that sounded like an excellent way to enjoy the ambiance of rain without getting soaked or cold from prolonged exposure. She walked up the concrete walkway of her temporary home before turning onto the main sidewalk. Throughout the beginnings of her stroll, her boots softly splashed in puddles and she listened to the rhythmic tapping of rain on her umbrella.

Prayers were answered as Sinai did not comment on her name, Neviah Laine. Considering the circumstances, the pink-haired woman decided to keep her capabilities quiet. The amount of "magical items" were worrying and probably an atmosphere the shop supported. Quietly, Neviah followed, slipping behind the service counter door to continue. The witch remained behind the mysterious woman. Silence swallowed the young student as she followed, deciding to not make comments about the lack of genuine magic goods inside the shop.
[break][break]
They entered a small back area that Neviah presumed was considered the "staff only room". Inside the designated area was a locker, a combination hooked onto the storage piece. The pink-haired girl's eyes shifted to Sinai, listening to the woman's explanation. It was an employee locker. A location for staff to safely tuck away their items until their shift eventually ended and they could return home. The witch nodded in acknowledgement to the explanation as they approached the locker. When Sinai reached for the combination lock, Neviah glanced away out of politeness.
[break][break]
A soft creak of hinges opening prompted the pink-haired woman's eyes to return to the locker. There, she noticed Sinai's items; a large jacket accompanied by leather boots. She nodded when the brunette told her to inform her if she required access to the locker. Slowly, Neviah placed her staff and tome into the locker, assuring the items were stable where they sat. After the items were safely locked away, the pink-haired woman followed Sinai to a back entrance where a tall, wooden crate with rubber holding cables was stationed, listening to every word.
[break][break]
"I-I see," she responded meekly.
[break][break]
A crowbar was brought to the wooden crate, the movements fluent as Sinai accomplished the movements needed to open the crate. A loud crack echoed through the shipment area, Neviah jumping from being startled. The wooden front fell away, revealing a creepy old lady in a box. A startled 'EEP' escaped the pink-haired girl's lips as she stumbled back a few steps. Nerves eased as Neviah took deep breaths, realizing the woman belonged to those cheesy fortune-telling machines. She listened to Sinai's words as an explanation was provided and following question.
[break][break]
"Um... Why not hire a real fortune-teller? If I m-may ask," Neviah inquired.
[break][break]
Hesitantly, the young soothsayer approached the wooden crate, her eyes locked on the creepy old woman. The woman possessed a stereotypical fortune-telling table. There were spaces dyed a different colour, each approximately the size of a playing card. In Neviah's opinion, the machine was a giant stereotype of witches designed to attract attention... One thing was certain though, the machine would not be accurate about the fortunes it provided people, at least, in Neviah's opinion. These... things were merely created for the peculiar aesthetic and entertainment rather than genuine future predicting.

[attr="class","bgtk-post"]
There was something... odd about the little shop Neviah was sent to assist with for an hour of the day. The trinkets inside were among what could be considered, stereotypical of witches. Skull-shaped decorative items, dowsing rods and jars filled with various herbs. Overall, the atmosphere provided the stereotypical vibe, the type of things expected of witches, but not always accurate. In complete honesty, Neviah was partially expecting to see shrunken heads or lizard tails inside the tent of silks...
[break][break]
The pink-haired young girl possessed mixed feelings about the scene unfolding before her eyes. Before their death, her parents told her about people who faked witchcraft or those who implemented stereotypes to create their "magic". Although, Neviah remained hushed about her opinions for the time being, however, she was still surprised. As somebody who possessed genuine magic and was a prodigy at that, she found it peculiar. Should she inform her coworker of her capabilities, or refuse to speak of those abilities?
[break][break]
The adolescent decided to remain hushed about her magical abilities. In response to the strange shop, Neviah brought her tome closer to her chest while her fingers remained wrapped around her staff. She inched further into the shop, escaping the opening, her eyes wondering a little bit. Then the mysterious shop owner approached, Neviah tensing as the woman approached.
[break][break]
"It's... okay," she responded meekly, attempting a smile. "Um... is there anywhere to put my stuff?"
[break][break]
The genuine tome she held and specialized staff was important to Neviah. They were among the few things she carried around with her from her parents. The tome being her father's, meanwhile, the staff a gift to assist with focusing her magic potential. Slowly, Neviah reached out to shake the woman's hand, a startled expression appearing as she realized she failed to introduce herself to Sinia.
[break][break]
"I'm Neviah Laine, by the way," she quickly added in a higher pitch.
[break][break]
The name carried some weight in Lorsette, however, identifying Neviah was difficult nonetheless. Fortunately, the surname Laine was common, making it difficult for anyone familiar with Lorsette's peoples. Her mother was an excellent TRS hunter meanwhile her father a great fortune-teller. Meanwhile her? A prodigy in magic, somewhat in combat, but more so in soothsaying.
I hope this makes sense, because my brain has moments where it stops working. ;-;

[attr="class","bgtk-post"]
Instances existed where young children were forced to grow up or find jobs to earn extra money. Despite her sorrowful background, Neviah hastily discovered she was beyond an exception to these rules. The chunk change received from her parental guardians was a mere morsel in her purse. Alas, a mere 14-year-old would struggle to receive large amounts of payments without some type of job. A majority watered and mowed lawns, others assisted in laborious tasks and some delivered papers, but Neviah accomplished otherwise.
[break][break]
The Laine Family, once a family of notorious fortune tellers now destroyed down to the only remaining blood, a child. Fortunately, the blood which roamed her veins was a so-called gift to future curious civilians. As a warlock, Neviah could predict a probable future path with frightening accuracy, although, she usually dumbed down the tellings; her changed actions spoke volumes once, and she sacrificed a lot for her foolishness. Nonetheless, her magic granted her an interesting opportunity at the Spring Carnival as a fortune teller.
[break][break]
They wished to strategically place her on the opposite side of the carnival to somebody of similar occupation, and hence, Neviah found herself stationed at the booth they created. In the arrangements, she agreed to a small table with walled sides and a roof similar an umbrella. It was cheerier than expected, however, the insistence to add a table cloth with a galaxy pattern and a crystal ball were accepted to settle a magical atmosphere. Although, her attire of a white, flower patterned dress with a pink cardigan made her less mystical.
[break][break]
She attempted to balance it with the specially made pink staff and the tome held in her arm. Fortunately, her cute, friendly appearance attracted customers to her pleasant little stall. From readings to the creation of small charms, the magic Neviah possessed earned her some cash. Eventually, the person in charge of her work arrived with some information for the part-time 14-year-old employee. Her boss asked another job of her, which involved crossing the carnival to assist the other fortune teller for an hour.
[break][break]
Quietly, Neviah wandered through the walkways, remembering the mentioning of the other mystics booth across the carnival from her's. As she approached a dark tent, the pink-haired girl's eyes widened, the hand clutching her staff tightening slightly. The tiny booth provided to her was nothing compared to booth provided to the other mystery person. Slowly, she approached, slipping through the flaps, eyes searching around her. Shelves upon shelves were filled with artifacts and mystical keepsakes, whether genuine or not was difficult to discern.
[break][break]
Unlike the tiny, welcoming booth the part-timer accomplished her fortunes in, this one possessed plenty of purchasable items and a spookier vibe. A voice greeted her, Neviah jumping slightly as she clenched her tome and staff, only calming slightly when she saw the source.
[break][break]
"Um... Hello... I was sent over here to help you for an hour, if you need it of course," the young student spoke softly.
[break][break]
The only discernible feature of Neviah being carnival staff was the lob around her neck holding a small identification card. If one flipped her card, it would display her name, otherwise, it was kept hidden for the young girl's safety. There were questionable people lurking around every corner, therefore, they avoided openly showing her name. As she prepared for the woman's answer, Neviah kept her staff and tome close, creating a shy, somewhat closed-off body language.
Fragile and delicate is the best way to describe Neviah’s body. She stands at an unimpressive height of 4’9”, making her shorter than a majority of girls in her class. There is an evident lack of muscle, however, Neviah does place effort into assuring her body gets some daily exercise. As a result, she maintains a skinny appearance. Her pale complexion is flawless, her skin being rather enchanting from its lack of scars and evident youth. Through using certain types of soaps and moisturizers, Neviah’s skin has remained on the softer side, the young girl preferring to use a small dose of effort into keeping a beautiful appearance. There is easily a softness to her features as a result, her hands and feet lacking any callous build up. Her limbs have an average length, giving her a normal beauty. Due to being at the age where puberty effects the body, Neviah does have a bit of a hourglass figure which shows her progressing physical maturity.
Youthful and flattering facial features give Neviah cuteness because of the softness of her face. Decently plump cheeks grace her face, making for a slight roundness that provides a friendly appearance to her facial structure. There is a slight pointedness to her chin, her face also maintaining a more delicate construct. Her nose is rather petite while Neviah’s eyes can be considered large and roundish. There is a beauty to her eyes, the orbs holding a bright pink colouring which tends to be rather attention-grabbing among most crowds. Soft, pink hair covers Neviah’s head, the back being shorter than the front which has two long strands which stop just above her shoulders. Frequently, her hair is styled by headbands or special clips with flowers on them. She has a variety of these and quite enjoys wearing them and styling her hair differently. There is a limited about of makeup on Neviah’s face, the young girl only using a faint, pink lipstick and some false lashes.
Softer fabrics are preferred by Neviah, especially styles consisting of dresses and shirts which usually end mid-thigh; she is flustered about anything shorter. Sometimes, she will wear dresses which flow down to her ankles. At times, she will prefer less-revealing shirts and favourable pairs of pants. Under most circumstances, pants consist of skinny jeans and leggings which she finds fashionable and rather stylish. During the spring and summer months, she likes short-sleeved shirts with plaid blouses. Her footwear usually consists of simple runners or sandals; she does prefer sandals. Her fingers and toes are oftentimes painted with nail polish and are well-manicured.
Tome Magic -- Advanced The ability to access a large amount of ability with the usage of a book, the Latin language and the correct words. Tome magic is a very capability ability based on Neviah’s knowledge, her parents enforcing the need for the young witch to learn about it extensively. With the use of her trusty tome, Neviah is capable of: force fields, telekinesis, future sight, seance, minor element manipulation (limited to main four: fire, water, air and earth), teleportation (requires drawn circles), hypnosis, minor illusion manipulation, ward making and telepathy. While there is plenty of magic securely enclosed in the book, there are plenty of requirements for the young witch to meet. Firstly, Neviah must be focused, she is required to state each word fluently and without interruption, otherwise, the spells will fail. She needs specification, else, the magic may react in unexpected ways which could be against her wishes. These abilities can even take a mental toll on her, requiring her to remain strong as she speaks and uses their power. Without her tome, performing these spells are impossible, thus she requires it to summon forth her magical energy in a safe and efficient way. Naturally, Neviah cannot keep these abilities up forever, most of her energy being zapped after using magic repeatedly for an hour with certain exceptions. Due to the intense power of her magic, Neviah does have a staff which helps her focus it. Her most notable ability is:
Future sight: The ability to peer into a potential future of the target, but only if they are a willing participant. These futures can be altered through direct involvement or warnings, hence why they are merely a potential future. Even then, there is still plenty of room for error with predictions since Fate is a mysterious creature. Neviah can tell fortunes with the utmost capability, however, she cannot control what exactly she may see. Usually, what she sees is limited and is mostly a 30-second glimpse into a potential path. This being said, these paths can be incorrect or altered depending on their interactions, making them highly subjected to change; as a result, she usually controls the spell to see a future within a 24-hour span to create more accuracy. Unlike her other abilities, Neviah is capable of casting this spell multiple times, however, it is unable to have battle implications; especially since the target needs to be a willing participant. Throughout the 30-second glimpses, Neviah is unable to move or gather significant information to yield victory on either side. During these glimpses, she is completely vulnerable.
Potions/Salves -- Advanced The ability to create magic potions/slaves which have a variety of effects on the person who drinks potions had the salves rubbed into their skin. She requires the proper ingredients to create potions/salves, otherwise, the brew may not be powerful enough or capable of creating the desired effect. As a result, she does need to spend time procuring the proper ingredients of the best quality. Unfortunately, potions/salves take time and plenty of hard work to get the proper effects, a single mistake ruining the desired outcome for Neviah’s brews. Despite being extremely capable with potions/salves, Neviah’s are limited to those with positive outcomes. She fears to make poisons or anything which could hurt another individual, making her unfamiliar with the ingredients as a result. Due to this, potions with negative or controlling effects take an extensive amount of time. Any potions/salves she makes usually last approximately 24 hours with certain exceptions.
Alchemy -- Advanced The ability to exchange equivalent materials to create or exchange items. Under most circumstances, Neviah uses this ability for very mundane use. When she requires certain ingredients for potions/salves, she may use this to receive the correct herbs or items she requires. While Neviah is incredibly capable with alchemy, she can only exchange for general items, nothing particularly specific. She also needs to have a clear image of the unspecified item she wants, or else the alchemy would fail. Unlike some witches/warlocks, Neviah oftentimes needs to draw an alchemy circle to allow her magic to properly flow and function. Depending on the size of the exchange, Neviah could potentially faint from larger exchanges or feel intense exhaustion. Once exhausted, she can no longer use her alchemy abilities.
Voodoo -- Beginner The ability to control people with the use of dolls and something which belongs to them. There was something always unsettling about the notion of controlling others, thus Neviah refused to train her voodoo abilities. Furthermore, her parents were moralistic and never taught her the art, resulting in her abilities having little to no effect.
Curses -- Beginner The ability to inflict a curse on another individual, resulting in horrible things happening to said, individual. Since curses are an illegal practice, Neviah never learned how to perform curses and was never taught. Should she attempt a curse, these “horrible” events would become rather minor, being simple things such as stubbing a toe or getting a splinter. If Neviah created a curse, she would feel extremely exhausted and the curse would disappear in 24 hours. As a result, she cannot curse people to return as undead creatures or create cursed weaponry.
Charms -- Advanced The ability to create charms, allowing the user to make themself or others safe or comfortable with their use. Charms are something Neviah became interested in at an extremely young age, especially since they were excellent for friendship bracelets. She can create a mass variety of charms, from temperature regulating, minor luck-inducing, safety and various other types which have helped numerous people. Due to her sheer magic-capability, Neviah’s charms can last centuries as long as the vessel holding the magic is not damaged. The more the charmed item is damaged, the lesser its effects will become until the magic disappears entirely. Under most circumstances, she lays her charms on jewelry or clothing, making it easier for the person to bring along. Depending on the charm, it may require more energy to create or less. Larger charms can easily drain Neviah completely, resulting in the young girl fainting as a result.
backstory
The Laine family was always a prestigious line of fortune tellers. At a young age, Jason Laine married a beautiful TRS hunter. This later resulted in the birth of Neviah, the 12th generation of Laine. The child’s birth brought a variety of beliefs from both sides of the family. Her father desired her to become a fortune teller meanwhile her mother wanted her to become a hunter. The conflict was minor, her parents shortly arriving at the conclusion that Neviah would be taught in both crafts. Already the stage was being set, her parents preparing training programs and make certain the young girl could be homeschooled. As the 12th generation of Laine, plenty would weigh on the young girl’s shoulders as of her significance. Plans were already being weaved for future generations to double as soothsayers and hunters. They were torn between the choices, both their families having a career evident throughout their family. Thus, Neviah was exposed to both ideas, her parents hoping she would be successful.
As a young child, Neviah was already showing incredible magic potential, her parents being surprised whenever her magic was infused into charms or potions. She would always attempt to make gifts for her parents, and charmed bracelets were the usual method to accomplish this. They were functional, oftentimes promoting positive emotions. There was surprise evident in her parent’s eyes, the small gifts easily impressed her parents. Excellent job, Neviah! They would always say those words before scooping her into their arms into a tight hug. Protectors were given, some staying, but others remaining as they tried to protect Neviah. Her parents kept trying to persuade their child into becoming a hunter or fortune teller. They desired to witness their daughter grow up to take their occupation.
Through her years of fortune telling, Neviah was constantly told to never change the future events to unfold. Her father was concerned with changing the future, that things would be changed drastically for the worse. Fortune tellers were given the opportunity to view these future events, therefore, they needed to respect father time. As time went on, her father was winning the war of occupation, Neviah going to assist with his tellings. People enjoyed seeing her there, smiling as they met the fortune teller’s daughter. One day after school, Neviah was waiting to go home and had some people who wanted their fortunes to approach her. She was a mere 12, however, she decided she could make some quick fortunes. The final person was a young boy, and as Neviah saw his future, she saw something saddening. A gasp escaped her lips as she saw the young boy being struck by a vehicle. She broke the rule, eliminating a possible line in the future.
Her fingers wrapped around the boy’s list as she told him, informing him of how she would save him. They walked home together, Neviah keeping the young boy safe and assuring what she saw never unfolded. She arrived home with the young boy, showing her parents the young boy she saved. They smiled at her, her father more awkward because she broke one of his rules. Her mother turned away, offering to allow the young boy to use the phone and maybe stay for dinner... everything happened so fast. Suddenly, a black spike was poking from her mother’s back as she coughed, blood escaping her lips as she slumped down. When Neviah looked at the young boy, skin was being shed, black being revealed beneath. The young girl was trembling as she heard her father scream for her to run. Desperate, she ran, her father protecting her while she ran, finding a hiding place. Fear wrapped around her heart tightly as Neviah grabbed the home phone and called the TRS.
She hid beneath her bed, terrified and uncertain of everything unfolding in the world around her. She heard destruction, a distorted voice attempting to beckon her until she heard more voices, sounds of TRS members arriving. From there, the only daughter of the Laine family was safe, scooped up in the arms of a redheaded, male hunter and carried out of her home. Tears streamed down her face as everything she knew was lost to a single foolish decision. She meddled with Father Time’s wishes and now she suffered the consequences. She was placed in a home to take care of her and has remained there since, uncertain, timid and afraid to change the future. A prodigy in her magic, but someone frightened of consequence.
NOTE* Neviah’s history is subject to change slightly as her guardian gets completed. I mostly wanted to get her done since she had other plots planned and it was best to get her done.
