Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
Since the wonderful members of TDOM enjoy the site enough to play around on it, this thread is to assist with the site's tidying! Functionality is important and we want to make the site functional even if its activity will be minimal at best!

First off, despite this being a romance event, please do not pressure your partners to date your characters. This is meant to be fun for people. Anyways, the matches are here! When you receive your pair, please start messaging your partner(s). Pre-planned matches will be tagged again to notify the starting of the event. Those labelled as staff can be messaged to join threads related to this or message to join. Please be accepting, we want to have fun here. <3 When matching we took into consideration, sexuality and treated people who stated "unknown" as pansexual to make matching easier. We also made sure some members would meet some different people. The blind date board is located here in the Lorsette category. You may use this thread to discuss details with your partner(s).
Furthermore, all event boards that are no longer open will be moved to the Alternate Universe board to help clear the boards. This includes: Summer Fair, Trick or Terror and Presents of Red.
The arrival of February returns an event of frequent success in previous years has returned the blind date. Though, to shake up the situation to assure differences between the events, the runners of the event have booked for paired individuals to attend an outdoor rink. There are places to skate alongside winding, lit paths for the more inept to walk along. The initial date events will consist of skating or a pleasant walk while the nearby restuarant prepares everyone's food. Around the 7:00pm mark, all participants will be brought in to have supper.
All participants for the blind date are required to be 18+ to enter. Information from the participants will be taken and shuffled to be randomized dates. They will arrive at the outdoor rink and visit the front desk to receive a nametag and the names of their respective pairings. Once everyone arrives, the contestants will be paired up and the event will formally begin operation.
Meanwhile, for the younger individuals who wish to participate in Valentine's Day festivities, a dance will be hosted at the city hall. Children are welcomed to attend the event, however, there will be a separate area in the city hall set up for the high school students to enjoy. There will be dancing and games for the younger citizens who are in attendance. A canteen has been set up for use for the attendants. There are also kissing booths and other Valentine's Day games for the older attendees.
Both events are under the defence of the TRS, units dispatching their hunters and scouts throughout the city. Meanwhile, medical tents provided by the TRS have been set up in case of an emergency. Through the city streets, they will watch and even oversee the festivities to avoid the invasion of disguisers.

Greetings, members! Welcome to the Valentine's Day events, with some infamous returns such as the blind date for a thread roulette. Signs ups for the blind date event will operate until February 10th. To sign up please tag your participating character(s) with their gender and sexuality. At that time, everyone will be placed in a wheel and spun to randomize pairings. You can enter as many people as you may like, though this being said, please try to keep it tamed! If you have a plot with another member related to having a blind date, let us know and we can pre-plan the pairing for your plot. However, please keep in mind, we would like this to operate similarly to a thread roulette! In addition to this event, we will have Valentine's Dance at the city hall happening in addition to the blind dates. The Blind Date event board will be made when we are ready for that meanwhile Valentine's Dance is located in the City Hall board in downtown and can be found here. The boards will close for thread creation on April 1st. You will still be able to post after this date.
