Caelumina Weiss this reality is a nightmare but it's better than a fantasy. general info
appearance 『I think I'm healthy.』 Caelumina's physique can be summarized as fit and healthy; standing at the height of five feet and six inches, her body has been harnessed by her daily jogging and the tumultuous world around her into a limber one. There is little fat presence in her frame, and her muscles have granted her a lithe frame. Light and fast seem to be the key terms to use when defining her physical fitness, alluding perhaps to her chosen occupation. Beyond her build, Caelumina has a mid-length hair with each strand bearing an onyx hue. Chestnut-colored irises function as her eyes, with long lashes extending forth from her eyelids. While not necessarily chubby, her cheeks have enough flesh to be capable of being squeezed and pinched. In terms of fashion sense, Caelumina prefers light and comfortable clothing, albeit she tends to ensure that they remain conservative at least, provided she's not wearing her uniform. Regardless of her clothing, Caelumina is usually seen with a red scarf wrapped snugly around her neck regardless of the presence of temperature regulating charms, which may easily denote that the scarf can be something with a sentimental value to her-- or obfuscating something from the view. As for scars, she doesn't seem to have any present on her body. With regards facial expressions and gait, Caelumina reveals a myriad of the former-- often leading to situations where her thoughts on the matter can easily be read through the curl on her lips or the glinting of her eyes; the accuracy of her expressions, however, may be not as high as one would expect. As for the latter, Caelumina's gait often shifts depending on her apparent mood as well. At times, she can be seen skipping or hopping when the day has been relatively peaceful or has been nice to her, albeit during serious or grave situations, she can be seen with a rigid and firm gait. Such small facets easily allude to her a key personality trait of hers. personality
Fear: Loss; the pungent odor of acid melting through flesh abilities N/A backstory 『You're a great runner, right, Cae?』 Caelumina Weiss is the only child of her perfectly ordinary family: a human father and a human mother. Yet despite having no form of gifts, or capabilities, they lived peacefully and happily; Caelumina's addition to their family merely expedited the growth of this joy, leading to a colorful and bright life. Despite having no extraneous abilities, Caelumina told her family that she'd be a Hunter to be capable of protecting them at the age of nine-- a perfectly normal dream for a child, perhaps. To the family, the notion was touching, but it also heralded the fact that Caelumina will be in the face of danger. Regardless of her intentions or her desires, the young girl held no immense potential or drastic capabilities for combat. Making use of magic wasn't in her blood, she held no natural supernatural abilities that'd help her in the face of combat. If any, her sole great talent was her agility and the fact that she could run fast. Desperately, her father tried to plead for her to not strive to be a Hunter, as it was far too dangerous for her. Yet the young Caelumina failed to comprehend the reason why. Distraught by her father's disapproval of her aspirations, Caelumina got in a quarrel with him, to which her mother simply smiled bitterly. The disagreement between the two of them caused a small chasm to form, but this chasm was immediately fixed. Her father had given her a red scarf as an apology to having obstructed what she wanted to do, and stated that she was free to do as she wished. Days after the gift, a terror attack occurred; it wasn't tremendous and the terrors that attacked were small fries. But to the powerless Weiss family, the terrors were much stronger than they were-- the terrors might as well be gigantic brutes. One low-risk Mutant was more than enough for them. In fear for her life, Caelumina's childish body could not move. Her legs simply quivered and she slowed her retreating family down. Now despite their petty disagreements with one another from time-to-time, their family wasn't shallow and their love for one another ran deep. So it was only understandable that when the mutant angled its distorted maw at Caelumina and spat out a blob of volatile acid towards her direction, her father would be there to shield her fragile frame from the acid. A pungent odor reached Caelumina's nose, scarring her for life with fear of the aforementioned smell due to its impact on her life. Yet that wasn't even the worst of it. Forcing a smile on his lips, her father told her one simple line: that she was a fast runner and that she should run with her mother. And that's what she did; she ran and she ran, with tears rolling down her cheeks without once looking back. Or so, that's what she believed she did; she knew little of what occurred afterwards with her memories plagued entirely by the sound of flesh being melted, and the odor associated with it. It was a nightmare for a young child. In the end, Caelumina and her mother survived, but they were crippled in a familial sense-- they lost an important person in their life. This was the turning point in Caelumina's life. Out of misguided guilt, she decided to continue and attempt to join the Terror Response Syndicate, yet not as a Hunter but a Scout. In her belief, if her capabilities revolve around running, then she'd harness it further and become an individual capable of noting everyone of approaching hostiles. That was the 'best' that she believed she could do. Years passed in what felt like a flash to Caelumina, her body grew and her mindset changed, but her heart remained as scarred as it was during that day. Due to stress of having to support a single child by her own, her mother had died as well, and its impact was great enough that Caelumina gained another fear: she started to fear loss. A part of her relentless wondered, if perhaps she didn't show her sadness on her face-- her discontentment with the fact that she had lost her father, her mother would be fine. A huge part of her believed that had she simply smiled and attempted to laugh as happily as before, her mother's stress would have been reduced due to the joy. It led to a vital part of her character growth; she began to 'lie'. A gap between her actual emotions and actions appeared; she'd smile when she felt sad, skip when she felt troubled, hum when she felt lonely. It was a 'lie' that she believed she'd never drop. Even in the Terror Response Syndicate training school, Caelumina remained a 'liar'. In front of her mentor, her colleagues, she'd smile and laugh as though ignoring her sadness. At some point, Caelumina found it hard to distinguish how she should really act around individuals, leading to her having to observe her colleagues closely. It harnessed the acuity of her mind, leading to an overall sharper senses when it came to social nuances and what not. She became a social individual as well, yet to what degree, she knew not. While she did have friends, none of them truly knew how she felt about matters with how well she hid her emotions. Yet despite her qualms with regards her emotions, and her trouble in terms of actually handling them, she managed to 'graduate' from the Terror Response Syndicate and become a full-fledged Scout, thus leading to the first step in her aspirations: become a scout capable of finding the source of the chaos and ending it. 「Lie too much to yourself, and in the end, you'll no longer know what's true or not.」 misc Likes: Spicy food, father's red scarf Dislikes: Terrors, leaving people behind | roleplayer info ☆ NAME Shelpies ☆ RP EXPERIENCE 10yrs ☆ TIMEZONE UTC+8 ☆ GENDER male ☆ AGE 17 ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS n/a ☆ FACE CLAIM Kagerou Project, Ayano Tateyama ---------------------- THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO Shelpies.
