Halloween was a grey area in terms of celebration for him. He never dressed up or did the trick-or-treating thing, or go to parties. But it was still a tradition he celebrated; simply for the belief humans had once held behind it. Though, they didn’t need one night for the gates to open, they were banished or sent to earth without some mystical force allowing them to on Halloween night. But he still felt the tradition was part of him because of that.
So he certainly wasn’t expecting to be working. He was asked to be at city hall for some Halloween dance. His job was to blend in for awhile and make his way down to the breaker around eleven o’clock. He wasn’t told why, just that that was where he was meant to go. He knew what he had to do. And that was only one part of his job. But upon getting to the hall, there were TRS security everywhere.
He didn’t particularly feel like having to deal with authority, much less sneak around them when time comes. Especially not for the second part of his contract. But it was too late now, he’d accepted the contract. He had to go through with it. With a sigh, he waltzed around the room, keeping an eye on TRS rotations, and looking for the way down to the breaker. He didn’t really have much notice to do a thorough scout of the hall in the days before, so he only had a basic idea of the layout.
Glancing around the hall, people seemed to gravitate to the drink’s table frequently. So he decided to make his way there. See what sort of dribble people are talking. It’d be a good opportunity to pick up more customers and contracts once this one was finished. Though a lot of the talk was just excitement over the holiday, and the dance itself.
He wasn’t in costume, he just wore orange and purple colours through his clothes to show his support of the holiday. He picked up a glass of punch and sipped at it as he watched people play the games and dance, enjoying the event.
