Raised by a couple known only for adopting kids, the infant qilin was placed into well-capable hands. They were well-versed in raising children who had lost their parents, and the baby qilin was sure to receive all she needed in order to thrive on her life’s journey. And as the story was expected to go - thrive she did. Not only did she receive attentive parents and all the basic necessities, she was thoroughly adored and pampered. Her older siblings whomst had also been adopted often played with her or spent time with her, despite being adults with working lives or families of their own. It seemed the chubby- cheeked smile of the growing qilin offered a spark of happiness at the addition to their family roster. Fernweh’s happy family remained as such, the girl not struggling as school and further social aspects became intertwined within her life. She met all expectations, diligently completing tasks and homework, never one to shirk away from her duties. Due to her diligence, she had an easy time with classes and boasted good grades. During school she joined a cooking club as well as student council. She would often help others struggling with homework or grades, never expecting anything in return. One fateful day however, Fernweh discovered the side of herself that desired something more exciting out of life. She witnessed the TRS successfully defend against an attack of terrors, and something about risk and reward sent a tingle through her veins. So close to graduation and needing a job, Fernweh set to research. She couldn’t imagine herself fighting others, as gentle as she was, some part of her would feel bad. But there had to be something else out there, right? Her researching lead her to many different prospects, so she simply singled out the ones that sparked an interest the most. The day after graduation she landed her job as a bike courier. It was everything she expected - the happy social life and exciting career leaving the qilin with a sense of fulfillment. Along the way she also started venturing into urban exploration - and it has lead her to discover many unique sights. misc *Fernweh likes foods and drinks with heavy cream, as it is a taste she is very fond of. *Fernweh likes reading both cookbooks and adventure novels.
