Wing Manifestation: Mastered. backstory Despite being born to a union of convenience and expectation rather than love, Celaena was not neglected or mistreated. In fact, her parents were rather doting to an extent, often providing her the love and care a young child requires to thrive. Not only were ample toys and entertainment provided as well, she also learned the responsibility of caring for animals at a young age - being given a bengal kitten when she was six and being involved immediately in the animal’s maintenance and care. Aside from these, Celaena was also given tools and toys that also involved learning. Within the first few weeks of being gifted the kitten, who she named Cocoa, they became inseparable. Cocoa and Celaena became an iconic duo - the feline often waiting for her return from school, often sleeping over the blankets or pillows when she slept, or perching on her shoulder while she did homework. Celaena was close with her parents, closer with Cocoa, and had a healthy group of friends at school. Somewhere around Cocoa’s seventh year - Celaena learned her precious kitty was in fact a familiar.
