[attr="class","tctext"]Weariness claimed Ozias' bones as he pushed through the doors of the TRS headquarters. Fresh from a mission, the seraphim was dust-covered, bruised and slightly bloodied from an earlier mission. Across his green cuffs and navy cuffs were stained with darkened specks, the green exhibiting the vibrant reds. A long exhale escaped the large man's lips, his body easing from the adrenaline rush of work. The man's arms reached for the skies, allowing the muscles in his arms and back to unwind at the stretch. As they retreated to his sides, Ozias rolled his broad shoulders, thoroughly easing them after the stresses of a rigorous mission.
[break][break]
The spring season always summoned a steady escalation of work for those of the Terror Response Syndicate. The Assembly of Phantoms were accomplishing their dastardly deeds with ever-increasing success and terrors were prepared to ruin the days of citizens. If not conducted properly, the spring season could easily become a messy time of year for the Lorsette Branch of the TRS. Everybody was required to be on the highest alert, their senses tuned and minds ready for the consistent churning of seemingly endless amounts of work.
[break][break]
Additionally, spring was a season of ample overtime hours, mission requests and pleasant payouts for the hard workers of the building. Being among those few, Ozias managed an extra assignment from his peers. A team of hunters tackling a larger group of terrors had required a medic and the seraphim fulfilled those necessities. Arrangements had initially been created, however, their present field medic unexpectedly dropped out because of a family emergency, thus the old-time field medic gleefully filled the slot.
[break][break]
Fortunately, TRS in their graciousness had provided Ozias Abrams with a well-required break. Though the dark-skinned man refused to linger far from the medical ward area, he appreciated the opportunity to rest and clean up. Upon his body's requirements for stretching being completed, his hands rushed into the pockets of his TRS-mandated coat; an unaltered uniform with the familiar dark scheme with popping accents. Quietly, the seraphim walked through the hallways, the TRS building a steady map inside his mind.
[break][break]
Despite the recent mission, Ozias' eyes possessed an awareness to them. The golden flecks of his eyes sparkled beneath the artificial lighting and lively flitted about. As he passed coworkers, the seraphim greeted them with a soft smile and friendly wave, however, word exchanges were limited. People were busy, thus Ozias decided to avoid ceasing the flow of action in the name of vanquishing terrors and the Assembly as a whole. Slowly, his eyes panned over to the medical ward break room, regularly used for ward medics on break, the location still remained open for the weary field medics.
[break][break]
A quick turn into the break room revealed a pleasant sight in Ozias' eyes. A warm smile played across his countenance as he noticed the dark-haired man inside the room. The larger man approached him, taking a seat at the main table.
[break][break]
"Have they been keeping you busy, Kerey?" The seraphim asked.
[break][break]
Jubilee entered Ozias' expression as he settled in one of the chairs. Plenty of time had passed since he had a conversation with Kerey, thus the field medic was quickly invested in the man he discovered.
