Fuji Tashiro tell me reality is better than a dream. general info
appearance Fuji couldn't be more different than the family he was raised with, having taken most of his characteristics from his birth father. He has sandy blonde hair that's bordering on brown and slanted yellow eyes. His hair falls to his shoulders in thin, fluffy whisps and more often than not it'd held back by a hairtie that he'd once borrowed from his sister and kept for himself. He just barely stands at 6'0" and is around 68 kg, though he's thin and slightly lanky, through training he has at the very least some slight muscles. Fuji is near-sighted, and as such has to wear glasses, often wearing silver rimmed ful vue glasses. Fortunately, or unfortunately, however you look at it, his mum's ears didn't pass down to him like they did to his sister. Instead, he has a small rabbit tail that he tries his hardest to hide wherever possible. You robably wouldn't be able to tell he was a usagi without taking a second or two to ask. Though his twitchy nose could be a dead giveaway. For clothes, Fuji keeps his attire smart and sensible when not in the TRS outfit. Dress shirts, cardigans and vests as well as matching trousers are what usually keep him comfortable. personality
abilities Earth Manipulation - Advanced Rabbit Shifting - Mastered Enhanced Speed - Advanced Enhanced Jumping - Basic Enhanced Senses - Natural backstory There was a certain beauty in the way somebodies life could twist and turn to become so utterly recognisable from the peace it once was. His mother, Mina Tashiro, knew this all too well. A seventeen year old student hairdresser who longed to work for the rich and famous, only to have her life crumple at the results of an unfortunate one night stand. For five years, he had practically been Mina's whole world. Though the two of them didn't have much, Mina adored her baby boy and would pamper and spoil him whenever given the chance. He'd sit in on hair apointments and listen to her clients stories and tales, memerising their faces and becoming known around her salon as the prince of squishy cheeks. Though, Mina was a very lonely woman, her friends had convinced her to take a night to herself just to enjoy herself and have fun, like the old times before she had a kid. Fuji found himself being taken care of by his mothers client, in what was supposed to be a one time thing. Only it wasn't. One time turned into months of Mina going out, taken by the clubbing lifestyle where she met Sammy, tall, dark haired and flirtacious beyond belief. Before the young boy knew what hit him Mina had sat him down one day, and with tears in her eyes told him he was going to be a big brother. This wasn't how things were suposed to go at all. Sammy was over a lot during Mina's pregnancy, and Fuji didn't like him one bit, always giving him greasy looks and running away when the man tried to interact with him- he could hear him and Mina fighting a lot, he could hear the way she begged for him to stay, using her pregnancy to try keep him. Fuji didn't like it. And, when Greta was born, he didn't like her. Loud. Annoying. Noisy. And often the baby was left crying for long periods of time, with Mina having dissapeared off to talk to Sammy over the phone and beg him to help, or to help pay for toys and food, or to visit him at his place. When he tried to tell mum to just get rid of the screaming kid, it seemed Mina had a different idea. Fuji was put in charge of Mina, a drooling giggling baby who looked at him with wide eyes- she looked nothing like him, and he hated her. What Mina wouldn't know, wouldn't hurt her. Toddlers could totally take care of themselves, right? He would leave her infront of the broken down TV, a bowl of dry ceral next to her and a pat on the head when he went off to meet up with friends. Though, th issue came when she started to grow up, suddenly she started following him around, grabbing at his hand in public or yelling out for him constantly to play with her or give her attention, as if he were Mina. Though, thats when he got the idea that... this... baby, this little kid, she could at the very least entertain her until Mina realised what a bad idea having Greta was and she'd send her off so she'd pay attention to him again. Only, nothing worked. Bossing the little girl around would result in a bright face of adoration, treating her awfully the young girl wouldn't even realise. The young Fuji couldn't quite comprehend it, was he like this as a kid? So... blindly trusting? So grabby? He grew, albeit slowly, to at the very least tolerate the small child. As a substitute for Mina, until the mum came back to her senses, of course. Taking care of Greta became second instinct, she started school as Fuji multitasked middle school and taking care of her, preparing her breakfast, packing her bag, brushing and styling her hair, all while Mina slept in, hungover and alarm set only for when her appointments were set to arrive. He worked hard, as hard as he could, at least. He found schoolwork relaxing, a break from life at home and easy, crunching numbers was just as simple as braiding Greta's hair, he found himself doing extra work to study and learn more as a form of escapism, and more often than not somehow Mina'd find out about it, typically from clients, coming in to congratulate him on some maths away or another. He didn't know until Greta's second year at school she was having any trouble with things he found he could do easily. He encouraged his mother to get her a tutor, only to watch them flop time and time again. He'd been called down to help more times than he can count, only to have Greta beaming at him and listening to him without so much of a question when he told her to listen to the tutors. He didn't understand why she was like this, really. And he wouldn't understand until years later, when it was much too late to do anything about it. Life was simple for Fuji, though frustrating that Mina barely gave him the time of day unless it came to telling him to help Greta or noticing an award he got months ago and acting all proud and excited. As he worked uphill, joining debate and science clubs, with no real goal in mind other than to keep his sister in check and maybe get his mum to notice him, he worked quickly though highschool. Though, his relationship with his sister had begun to dwindle, he treated her as he alwayds had, and, apparently now enhanced with preteen critical thinking she lashed out at him, and when he tried to rationlise himself and how he treated her, well... She moved out. She literally packed her things and moved in with her dad in protest of being able to take care of herself. To say Fuji was beyond confused was an understatement, he expected her to come back within a day, a week at most. Then, a year went by. A year of him visiting and checking in on her, helping her to the best of his ability without letting her know. A year of self reflection. Fast approaching was the end of highschool, and he had no career laid out for him, no path he could be content with. He had awards, and grades, and ideas, lots of them, but implimenting them? Finding a place he'd be happy? So, he attended career meetings, a lot of them, learning the ins and outs of university courses and had talks with what few friends he had, and eventually settled on computer science, it sounded easy enough, made enough money, and he could do it in his own time. Only, that was the initial plan. Things changed when a friend of his died from a local terror attack, though what truly happened was classified, Fuji lived in a poorer district, he could take a wild guess on what happened. What was the use in studying computer science, what help would it be to the world around him? If he didn't even try lift a finger to help and carried on life simply, with his only focus being his sister and working to escape from his mothers negligence, would the world his sister would grow up to live in be uninhabitable? She wouldn't be able to survive. He made a tough choice. Graduation came, and when Mina didn't attend, he decided then and there his next plan. His family had to learn to live without him, at least for a few years. It would help them in the longrun, he was sure. And he could study and learn to be somebody who did something with meaning, rather than just studying because he was good at it. The TRS had been advertising heavily around campus, so it's no wonder he used money saved up from awards and competitions to rent out a cheap apartment and joined up with the TRS after stuying about how they worked and making sure he was certain he wanted to do it. He knew, as usagi, he wasn't fit for properly fighting, his skills would be best suited for medical or scouting. After learning a bit more, he signed himself up. Willing, and ready to do whatever it takes to be a part of something good. misc Some of Fuji's most prized awards include his Debate Championship medal, his national maths competition certificates and a golden vial trophy he got from the science fair, they sit in his room, collecting dust. His apartment is basically covered in notes and whiteboards, often with post it notes stuck to the fridge, or to the counter to serve as reminders to whatever he could. Fuji is really good at styling girls hair, both since his mothers a hairstylist and because he spent years styling and brushing his sisters to prepare her for school. | roleplayer info ☆ NAME lordie ☆ RP EXPERIENCE since i was twelve, eight years ☆ TIMEZONE aedt/aest ☆ GENDER female ☆ AGE twenty ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS Odessa Blanc Enyo Amadeus Greta Tashiro (sister) ☆ FACE CLAIM NIJISANJI, fushimi gaku ---------------------- THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO lordiE.
