[attr=class,Amytextbox][attr=class,Amytext]Boooooored. Bored, bored, bored! There was absolutely nothing to do! It was a Wednesday afternoon and all the local kids were still in school and the gang didn't have anything for her to do and she was so exhaustingly bored. She wanted to run around and laugh and play, but if she did those things on her own it wouldn't be fun and she'd get funny looks. She didn't like getting funny looks from others. Well, she kind of did but she'd rather get continued attention out of those funny looks.
She kicked at the road as she walked, not sure what else there was to do. Unlike all the other kids, Amy didn't have school. It wasn't the sort of thing her sister had the time or money to get her enrolled in. Her sister did her best but she was just a person, or so she said. Usually Amy's work for the Ravagers would keep her busy, but not today. Today everyone fun was MIA.
She lifted her gaze as she spotted a passerby with a bracelet and silently snatched it from their wrist. It was pretty, with a glass heart pendant glimmering in the golden sunlight. She liked pretty things. She never wore bracelets like that, but it was shiny and much like a cat that was enough to keep her attention. People had compared her to a cat before. She rather liked it. Kitties were adorable with their big pretty eyes and soft fur and painful bites. She didn't see how people thought she was like a cat, but she liked it nonetheless.
She tucked the bracelet in the pocket of her dress. She'd add it to her collection when she got home but she didn't want to go back and be stuck inside all day. No one was at home either. She'd been told in the past that she really shouldn't go out on her own, but she didn't usually pay such warnings much mind. She didn't understand how a child with bruises trailing up her arm wandering around the streets might look to strangers.
Another person was walking a bit ahead of her and, upon confirming there was nothing she particularly wanted for herself, she ran up to them and tugged at their arm. "You!" she exclaimed, "I'm bored, let's play a game!"
