Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Boiler Sword [break] A specially designed sword meant to funnel in boiling water and withstand the heat, while conducting it into the blade. The sword is one edged and made with extremely durable and heat-conductive metal. The edge opposed to the blade operates as a blunt object, being the strengthening spine. Riley can channel his water into the blade, allowing him to control the temperature. [break][break]
Plated Coat [break] A specialized coat composed of flexible plates designed to protect his body from severe damage. These plates are on the heavier side, however, they can protect against harsh attacks and are fire resilient. [break][break]
Gaunlets [break] Defensive, black metal and red accented gauntlets cover Riley's forearms. These armour pieces are designed to act as a shielding method for Riley's close-combat, berserker style. They lean on the bulkier side but are highly durable, allowing him to block attacks with ease. These items do not work well against mass-scaled attacks. [break][break]
Maneuver-Aiding Boots [break] A specially designed pair of "boots" that weave up Riley's legs beneath his pants. These boots are specially designed to add extra speed or provide the individual with a jump boost. They are well-suited for parkour and allow the user to move fast. However, these will only affect Riley's legs and nowhere else across his body. [break][break]
Hearing Apparatus [break] A pair of rabbit-eared headphones designed to allow Riley to hear from further distances. There is a special knob on the side he can use to adjust the volume of the headphones. These devices can cause weakness to sound should they be kept at a high volume.
