appearance Echo is a very delicate and striking seeming female. She has soft, pale skin, and a fragile and slender build. She has soft facial features, plush lashes, and a generally cutesy appearance. She has soft, moonlight pale hair, often decorated with flowers, and soft golden eyes. She likes wearing pale colors, and elegant to cute fashion. personality Echo is a bright, loving and almost pure seeming woman, cheerful and loving, always managing to find a silver lining. She forgives easily but does know how to stand her ground and take a serious topic seriously. She is emotional and empathetic, easily sympathizing and also lending a shoulder when it is needed. Genesis (spirit): Genesis is the soul of her brother that was trapped with her upon her ability activating. Genesis will for the most part act in according to how she does in public interactions when her mediumship ability forces him to overtake her, however when in private or in dangerous situations (or ones he feels strongly about), he doesn’t bother pretending. However, her voice has a notable pitch drop when he is present in influence even partially. Genesis is a much more quiet individual than his sister, though he is also extremely dangerous if he perceives a threat or is unhappy. Is more rough around the edges than his sister, and his body language changes can be noticed once you get close to her. abilities Mediumship: (beginner) The ability is labelled as beginner since Echo cannot really control it. The ability reacted by ensnaring the soul of her sibling as he died, trapping him within her body. At times, since she is unaware of this ability, she can hear his voice (though she believes this is her mind playing tricks because she misses him), or, during moments when the ability becomes unstable - she becomes in a state similar to possession - where her sibling is influencing her actions and speech - occasionally taking full control of her consciousness and body. The ability is limited to a one-time use, meaning she cannot connect to anyone else. Manifestation (ink): Advanced. Echo can reach into any drawing or picture and take out the object, though this is limited to smaller to medium end things, she can’t like ... whip out a car, but can take out pots and pans or a knife. She can also take out food - but it’ll always be cold. Using it too much exhausts her severely, and can start to take a toll on her health. Semi-immortality: Natural. She will not physically age further. backstory Gezellig. Echo was born to a happy family, with two older siblings and a happy mother and father. The family didn’t have a hard time, being well-off enough to not struggle to pay for things. She grew closer to her siblings than her parents, though they were all a close family regardless. Her brother and sister often took her to the part and local festivities, teaching her how to swing, and how to draw pretty murals with colored chalk. They played all sorts of games together, built a treehouse at one point, and things generally continued this way until the days of high school drew near. Samar. She was returning home late one night from a usual trip star-gazing when her mother took her aside, a grief stricken look on her face. She was ushered down a dark hall-way and into a room, where her brother lay bed-ridden. He was heavily wounded and very clearly on his last moments - a cursed weapon had apparently been the culprit - and they couldn’t find a nephilim at such a late hour, in their secluded villa. Echo still remembers the last words that left his lips, that he believed in her and her dream to take the fashion world by storm. She grieved long and hard, but it also steeled her resolve, eventually taking her ideas to her sister and parents. Feierabend. After going through college, and pouring her soul into her designs, the company finally opened, her and her sister launching their first line, which was pretty well received and popular. She was so happy that Iris decided to do this with her - even happier they were succeeding! Her only regret was that Genesis was not there to see it. Things were truly looking up. misc *Echo is a Capricorn. *Echo likes stargazing in peaceful, secluded places. It’s one of the most peaceful and happy things to her. *Echo LOVES music, especially lo-fi and chiller tunes. It acts similar to a comfort blanket. She also likes foreign music. *Wish Dollita has a few fashion lines out. SUGAR (sweet lollita), Kitten KISS (extremely cutesy animalia themed clothing and accessories), BLISS (sky themed), and SPRING BREAK (geared towards female students.) They are soon going to launch Rediscovery which is a pastel goth line. *Echo loves berry parfaits and still warm chocolate brownies with ice cream melting over them. *Echo refuses to eat most seafood. *Echo thrives off of gentle affection. Run your fingers through her hair and gentle hugs or comforting gestures and she melts. Just hold her and give her quiet companionship and she is the happiest person alive. *Echo is the type to love unconditionally and unshakably. *Echo still has the locket given to her by Genesis when she was twelve. She wears it every day. *Echo has a cute phone strap she received from her sister when their first line got big sales.
