Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,
The Staff

Inojin had listened too the last client, watching as he stood up too leave before slowly placing files in the filing cabinet before heading towards the door too leave for his lunch break. It was common for him too head towards the Crescent Moon Cafe for his meal before taking it back towards the office. He slowly walked out of the building before walking along the sidewalk too head towards the Crescent Moon Cafe. Thoughts swirled in his mind as he was reminded that what happened in the office, must stay in the office, just as what happens at home, must stay at home and never follow him where ever he ended up going. He was silent as he passed by people, within fifteen minutes he had made it too the Crescent Moon Cafe and pulled open the door before slipping inside too get in the line.

Vega was lurking just outside the cafe today, the rumblings of his stomach causing him to look for potential handouts from someone kind enough to do so. The glass of the cafe mirrored his own face back at him, making him tug the hoodie down more to obscure his face. He looked scruffy and dirty, more like some sort of scruffy and abandoned doll than a person.
Jerking his head around as a person walked past him and into the cafe, Vega found his silvery eyes trained on the stranger as he followed him to the door but paused and considered actually entering. His hand was on the handle, though he slowly pulled it away as he made his decision. Backing away from the door, he began to slowly force himself away from the cafe, not wanting to be caught.
Inojin had noticed Vega standing outside just as he had pulled the door open too slip inside. He hadn't been waiting too long before walking too the counter too order some coffee and muffins. It was a few minutes later that he was handed a bag and he quickly walked towards the door too head outside. Where'd he go? He thought too himself, having bought so many muffins because he thought Vega might have been hungry. Maybe this way? He thought too himself, wandering around the building with the hope of spotting Vega.

He has eaten here before, though what little money he had left had since run out. They had really good snacks and sweets, but he’d have to be more careful about getting any from now on. He didn’t really want to steal, and he felt like begging could just get him in trouble.
He might be hungry, but it wasn’t really safe to just lurk and hang around. He pressed his back against the brick wall, and took in a deep breath. The sooner he found a home, or a way to at least get food money the better. Footsteps and movement caught his attention, pale eyes falling on the stranger he had almost followed inside. ”Do I have to leave?”
Inojin slowly came too a stop when he noticed Vega leaning against the wall. It seemed upon him rounding the corner, he had been heard because Vega was looking directly at him. Well this feels awkward now, but I can't help but believe he wanted something too eat which was why he was outside in the first place. He thought too himself, having once planned on buying a small lunch had turned into buying it for Vega instead, or at least that was his goal. The question had surprised him, slowly he reached out his hand, offering the bag towards Vega. "No." He answered in return. "Unless you want too leave, in which case I won't stop you. I couldn't help but believe you might be hungry and thought you'd be interested in having this. I'm sorry if it isn't an interest though." He answered, thinking now that maybe it would have been better too have bought more than just some muffins. Secretly, he couldn't help but hope that Vega would take the bag, be happy over the muffins and not be hungry anymore, or at least he believed him too be hungry.

Pale lavender-silver eyes studied the strange man, his back pressed heavily against the brick wall. He couldn’t help a tremor shiver down his spine, but he has to be brave. His stomach growled audibly, a hunger pang ringing through his body. The orphan familiar had nowhere to eat and nobody to care for him, and didn’t have much of an education. The crinkling of the bag caught his ears, and he grasped it in his hand. ”For me?”
He is hesitant, but his hunger made him accept it. ”I didn’t know if I would be welcome. I had no money to buy anything....so thank you.” His voice is low, soft in tone. He pulled the bag close to his chest, knowing that at least he wouldn’t be so hungry for much longer.
