appearance Chaerin is very much a book you shouldn’t judge by it’s cover. He isn’t impressive at all in stature, being somewhat smaller than some; and he looks deceptively delicate. With a youthful face and expressive purple eyes framed by soft locks of pink and white, the first impression of many would be that he’s harmless, if not even; cute. He often accentuates this fact with his clothing preference. But as they say; sometimes the flower is really hiding a snake. It is easier to take someone by surprise if they underestimate you! While they aren’t easily noticed (perhaps this is done on purpose?) Chaerin has very toned muscles that certainly make him capable of dealing a harsh hit if he needs to; as well as being capable of take damage and keep on swinging. His hair is almost always in a single long braid, which has almost always been a personal preference. personality

Wing Manifestation: Advanced. Healing: Advanced. Blessings: Mastered. backstory Chaerin was born into a very rough family, constantly at war with itself. Family members were constantly in internal power struggles, their fangs always metaphorically bared at each other’s throats. From a young age Chaerin was forced to be tougher than any child should have to be - and while some children would have withdrawn or been broken from such a situation - Chaerin became brave and cheerful, refusing to let circumstance drag him down. He was often left to fend for himself completely once he was old enough to be able to do things - and the first things he learned was how to cook, and how to fight so that he could defend himself. Chaerin fended off both verbal and physical attacks from various family members as he aged; learning how to target weak spots and strategize how to fight back appropriately against those bigger or stronger than he - even if he needed to use tricky or sneaky methods. While juggling these family situations - he also excelled at school - often getting the higher reaches of grades - and he began secretly training with a TRS member when he was fifteen - who was surprised by the natural toughness and instinctual combat awareness Chaerin showed. When he was sixteen - Chaerin abandoned his family completely, and started to live with the TRS member who had begun to feel like his actual family, which eventually lead into Chaerin joining the TRS himself, where he has been for many years. He stayed with the TRS member until he was of age - where he began to live on his own - though he has remained in contact with him ever since. Chaerin has grown a lot since those days - going from a young teenager who was good in a scrap to an elite hunter. misc *Chaerin is a Leo. *Chaerin is single-target affection in a way. Once he starts falling for someone, nobody else is even a blip on the radar. He’s the type to fall hard and be utterly consumed by it. This plays an interesting dynamic with his usual confident personality - Chaerin will blush easily and become somewhat shy, even. But he will soak up the attention and affection he is given. *Chaerin is the type to never say die, even when the odds are stacked completely against him. He’s the epitome of someone who would rather die fighting, as opposed to living on his knees. Perhaps he has a sense of self-pride that refuses to let him give up? *Chaerin likes soft things. It can be anything from a blanket to an animal with soft fur. *Chaerin doesn’t like bitter things at all, but he also doesn’t like things that are too sweet. *Chaerin has a bit of a hero complex that when combined with his refusal to give up - has gotten him into some questionable situations.
