Angel Lavoie tell me reality is better than a dream. general info
appearance Angel is about 5’5” or 162.6cm, a little bit short but not quite. They are also rather lean while maintaining a straight figure, their skin color a pale white. They have red eyes and short white hair cut to the chin, the hair poofing out while the bangs curl inward and brushing against their eyebrows. Their face is a little on the thin side with even proportions throughout their face. The clothes they wear very. Sometimes it’s a ripped up dress they are quite fond of, sometimes ripped jeans and short sleeved shirts, it all depends on their mood. The only constant thing they wear is their white jacket. As for their wing, it’s a charcoal grey. personality
abilities Gifted: Teleportation – They are able to go to and fro from any place they have been to, but only for several meters. They prefer walking anyway. Weather manipulation – They do not have good control over this ability. Whenever they’re upset, it starts raining hard. When angry, it starts hailing hard. They have to keep their emotions in check if they ever want to manipulate the weather, or at least stop it from precipitating. Curse/Charm breaking – Something they’ve done as a hobby. When they were younger, they were dared to break a cursed object right in front of them. They got it almost immediately and since then the peers around their age come to them to break a curse or a charm. They are perfectly willing to do it, as long as the intention is good. Future sight – This comes and goes at random. They haven’t really perfected the sight yet, nor do they wish to. The future is supposed to be unknowable and they fear making the vision come true in a roundabout way if they try to prevent it. Time has a way of messing with things and they don’t want to mess with it. Wing manifestation – They are able to summon a charcoal gray wing, but they are unable to summon the other one for some reason. Because of that, they cannot fly, which is something that bothers them since other angels and nephilims are able to grow two wings. Healing – Wanting to get into the TRS somehow, they trained themselves with their healing touch almost religiously. Because of this, they have a great capacity to heal and can heal several at a time, depending on their injuries. Blessings – They have practiced giving blessings, mostly on their family members, it is rare for them to do so on other people. Of course, the other person can ask, but most of the time they would refuse unless it’s someone less fortunate than themselves. backstory Angel wasn’t really born in the most ideal of situations. Their mother was a prostitute, one that passed herself off as human, though she was probably an angel or a nephilim or even a fallen angel. The thing was, she never had a problem with bearing children, though she was always careful when it came to her work and having children. They and their sister, Tenshi, were born a few hours apart on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day, though they often celebrate both days for their birthday, not wanting the other to feel left out. Despite being twins, they looked nothing alike, fraternal twins if you will. While they had snowy white hair, their sister had dark brown hair. Both, however, had the same shade of red eyes, which they considered their best feature. Ah yes, their sister. She was a sweet girl, one that loved her twin with all her heart. And they, in turn, loved her the most. They were inseparable, always saying things for the other as if their minds were linked. They did everything together, from sleeping to hobbies. Really, barring their appearance, they might as well have been identical. Being the first two born, their mother tasked them with taking care of their younger siblings if she ever had more kids. And she did. A lot of them. While their days were busy with attending school and babysitting the younger siblings, they somehow managed to support themselves along with their mother. Tenshi had thought nothing of being poor or not having a father figure, but Angel, on the other hand, was slightly bitter that none of their fathers would support them. The least they could do was at least send money their way and help them, if only a little. But nooo, instead they were left to fend for themselves and their poor mother had to continue eking out a living with her job and child support. At least she had her sister to help everyone out. They kept their feelings hidden from everyone but their sister, whom they shared everything with. She was their only release and it was a good thing that she was understanding, despite not feeling the same way. They thought nothing could separate the two. Then they hit puberty. While walking home from school one day, they were confronted by an angel with dark hair. He began to explain to them that he was one of their fathers and that he had been watching over them the entire time, which they were skeptical about. He then explained that he was here for Tenshi, because she was a pure angel unlike her sinful sibling, something that floored the both of them. To be honest, they both thought they were the same species, despite having different colored wings, as their mother said nothing about the wings they were able to manifest, being incredibly vague about it. They were still reeling by the revelation when he told them that he was taking his daughter to Heaven for some training and that there was nothing they could do to stop them. They were able to snap out of it long enough to fight back, but he attacked with his electricity magic and made them black out. When they came to, their sister was gone. The loss of their sister hit the family hard, but Angel most of all. They thought that it was their fault that she had been kidnapped. If only they were stronger, then none of this would have happened! With this in mind, they resolved themselves to become stronger in any way possible. And the TRS seemed to be the perfect way to go. While their mother was honestly terrified by the idea, they insisted on at least being trained by the TRS, just to get a little stronger. Eventually their mother relented and they were free to start training, something that their younger siblings took note of. They trained hard while juggling school and taking care of their siblings, intent on becoming stronger. Unfortunately for them, they weren’t that strong to begin with, due to their species. So they had to resign themselves as a medic, though they still wanted to be out in the field to help hunters. It was tough, but eventually they graduated to a field medic and was called away from time to time to do their work. School eventually ended for them and they were fully able to immerse themselves in their job, showing no fear when it came to healing the injured and seeing terrors. They were quite proud with this accomplishment and wished that their sister could see them now. The hole was still there and they wanted nothing more than to find her again. They hit 21 when Tenshi came back. They were chilling at the local café when Tenshi lighted down in front of the building with her pure white wings and entered it. They couldn’t believe it at first, was that really their sister? Then excitement took over and immediately they rushed towards her, hugging the other tearfully. She hugged back just as happily, but there was something about her that they couldn’t place, something that was worrying. When the two decided to catch up, Tenshi was incredibly vague, just like her mother. They noticed how haunted she looked, how awful she looked. The light in her red eyes was gone and she was left as a shell. She continued to dodge questions when prompted, further worrying their sibling. She said nothing, though, and simply exchanged numbers with them while telling them she was now working for the local church and she wanted to come back to the place she was born in. Then she left the area, leaving her drink unfinished as they sat there, completely dumbfounded. So many things went on in their head as they tried to make sense of their sister’s situation. Just what had her father done to her? Such thoughts caused them to be angry and when they visited their sister, they made their feelings known. Their sister was still avoidant, however, and they ended up arguing about her father, unable to comprehend that she was defending the angel that kidnapped her. But even after that argument, they still cared for their sister and vowed to help her whenever possible while the seeds of vengeance were placed in their heart. They would make Tenshi’s father pay for what he had done, of that they were certain. misc - Angel’s name, along with their siblings, follows a theme concerning heaven and angels - Has a thing for kiwis. Both of the kiwis - While they aren’t blind to their sister’s obsession with them, they don’t mind it. In fact it’s a little…refreshing? It’s weird, but they are not going to turn her down because of it - They dislike Akari and Heaven. After all, they caused their sister to suffer, why didn’t they put a stop to her suffering if they were all good? It makes them bitter thinking about it. | roleplayer info ☆ NAME xxxchaosheartxxx (Chaos) ☆ RP EXPERIENCE Six years ☆ TIMEZONE EST ☆ GENDER Female ☆ AGE Twenty two ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS Tenshi Lavoie ☆ FACE CLAIM Touhou, Sagume Kishin ---------------------- THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO CHAOS.
