appearance Hel stands at 5'9 and weighs 160 lbs in her human form. She has some muscle definition thanks to her years of tai chi and stick-fighting. Her hair is black and shoulder length. Her eyes are a blue that sends chills through her enemies and comfort through her friends. Her skin is dark, reflecting her mixed race heritage. Hel is often seen wearing business casual clothing outside of the club. She tries to maintain a positive image out in Lorsette in case anyone recognizes her as Helsing's owner. When actually working at her club, Hel wears formal clothing that anyone may see a club goer wear. She will wear dresses as well as suits, she is not picky in her fashion. As a wolf, Hel stands at 3'0 exactyl but is still 5;9 from nose to tail. Her weight is unchanged but distributed differently in this form. As a wolf, Hel is thick-furred and black/blue. Her eyes are still the same blue and her fangs are pearly white (a sign that they are well looked after). Hel has no significant scars or markings to speak of, althought she does have small scars here and there from her years of fighting. personality
abilities Wolf transformation The phase of the moon heavily influences Hel's ability to transform into a wolf. New Moon is when her power is the weakest. She is less strong and unable to transform into a wolf quickly. It takes her an entire 90 seconds to transform, assuming she has enough energy to do so. If she is exhausted or injured during a New Moon, she may not be able to turn at all. If the transformation process is interupted, she will snap back into her human form and be unable to attempt another transformation until three hours has passed. Sometimes she is unable to transform at all for 12 hours. Cresent Moon allows for Hel to transform in 70 seconds. It is long and more tedious but still possible. For the entire 70 seconds Hel is rendered completely vulnerable. If her transformation is interupted, she will snap back as a human and will be too weak to try again until one hour passes. Quarter Moon means Hel takes 50 seconds to transform. If her transformation is interupted when she is vulnerable, she will completely turn back into her human form and will be unable to transform again until 30 minutes passes. Gibbous Moon is when Hel can transform within 40 seconds. During transformation, the procedure can be halted with enough force or damage. An interuption of transformation in this form will cause her to "snap back" to her human form but keep some features of a wolf such as fangs, claws, and a black tail. However, partial transformation takes more energy to sustain. She is unable to transform again until fifteen minutes has passed. Full Moon is when Hel is at her strongest, and she may transform into her wolf form in as short a time as 35 seconds. Not much can stop her mid-transformation, and she has impressive endurance to pain even in her vulnerable state. If her transformation is interupted, she will halt but remain in the form it was interupted in. This only lasts a small while, forcing her to either lose strength in this form or to finish/reverse her transformation. Unable to transform again until five minutes has passes. Enhanced Physicality As a lycanthrope, Hel has inhanced endurance, speed, and strength in both wolf and human form. In her wolf form, Hel is impressively fast, reaching speeds up to 80 km/hr. If she runs her fastest, she can not sustain the speed for long. Anything under this speed and her endurance is evident. Hel can run for a long time before beginning to feel the effects of physical exhaustion. In regards to strength, she is stronger than a regular human, able to lift 400lbs in a small burst as her max. However, she is better at running and will wear out quicker if using her strength for a long period of time. Silver Aversion Like all lycanthropes, Hel is allergic to silver. Touching it will cause her flesh to burn (unless she is wearing protection, but even then she will never willingly touch it). Being shot or stabbed with a silver weapon will require a longer-than-usual healing time (but the silver must be removed from her body as quickly as possible so silver posioning does not set in). If silver pierces her heart or enters her bloodstream, she will die. backstory Helena, who prefers to go by Hel, is second born next to her older brother. The two of them have been nearly insperable since childhood and hold a bond no one seems to be able to break. Her brother is quiet and strong while she is outspoken and strong-willed. They compliment each other wonderfully, especially in battle. Hel is of mixed race. Her father is caucasian and chinese, her grandparents met in BC, Canada and married quickly after that. Her grandfather was a lycanthrope while her grandmother was a regular human. Hel's mother, also a lycanthrope, was black and originated from Nigeria; she moved to Canada when she was 20 and in search of a haven. Her mother and father met in BC as well, and began a pack in the rocky mountains that ruled with tyranny: Pack Silver. It was an ironic name, but her father hated weakness and loved to flash it in the faces of his enemies. Her brother was born eight months after the creation of this pack, and Hel was born two years later. Even in the family life, their father was authoritative and left no room for questioning. Any disobedience earned punishment. Even their mother was subject to such cruelty (even though she seemed to be the only one who tamed the beast within their father). Her family lived in BC for a long while. That is until her father picked a fight with the wrong crew. His totaltatian ways led to war between Pack Silver and Mountain Thunder, a pack that had ruled the area since history can remember. The war lasted two months before Pack Silver was forced to flee. Hel's mother died in the process and her father fled the West coast all the way to the East where the pack settled in Lorsette. Her father started up a business there, club Silver. With their mother gone it seemed that their father was even more cruel and snappy than he had been previously. Whatever good was in him died alongside Hel's mother. The wolf pack lived like this for half a year before Hel and her older brother rose up to challenge their father and his authority. Their goal was to drive him out of the pack and free them all from his cruelty. They were successful, but not without blood shed and a few deaths, but they drove their father out, leaving him to wonder Lorsette on his own. Those loyal to her father quickly turned loyal to her or risked being driven out as well. She wanted nothing more to do with his tyranny. In honour of the victory (and to berid themselves of any signs of her father's terrifying rule), the pack renamed themselves Pack Helsing, and the club was renamed to match. Hel became the alpha with her brother as her beta. They quickly regrouped and Hel led the pack with respect, compassion, and enough sternness to earn her place as alpha.
