Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Summer 2024
Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
Since the wonderful members of TDOM enjoy the site enough to play around on it, this thread is to assist with the site's tidying! Functionality is important and we want to make the site functional even if its activity will be minimal at best!
The control room inside the Beckard Manor’s training area was a simplistic board of controls, limited in effects on the field where they would train. Alas, there was still plenty Nathan could accomplish in terms of detecting his apprentice's speed and naturally, his now favourite function, abruptly bringing up the large, metal doors. There were many incidents when the vampire trained with his older brother where he would slam hard into the walls, knocking himself dizzy as a result. Bruises were common in the training room, although, Nathan had grown accustomed to receiving them after years of training his abilities; the end product resulted in it being a worthy sacrifice. He was a skillful, young hunter as he desired to be since Donovan joined and began showing him those fighting moves. After the death of his brother, his determination increased and now he felt proud of his capabilities, albeit, conceited. The male vampire glanced over the numerous controls on the panel, promptly flicking up a switch which was the loudspeaker.
[break][break]
Carefully, he tugged a microphone closer to his lips, "Remember how we are testing your speed? I can check it from in here, so you can run a few laps while I get it going. You don't have to be fast for your first few, I will let you know when to start running the track at a full sprint."
[break][break]
Once the command was given, Nathan began fiddling with the controls to track Demetria speed. Smoothly, he typed into the console, bringing up the proper program on one of the small monitors. From a slot in the wall which opened, the scanner came out, searching for the intended target. With the assistance of the scanner, the male vampire could acquire number-based data on his apprentice's speed. It appeared to be the perfect recipe for allowing him to know when to click the red buttons on the panel; the buttons which brought up the various durable walls featured on the track. When it appeared to lock onto Demetria, the male vampire returned to microphone to speak through one of the speakers in the room.
[break][break]
"Go ahead and run," Nathan stated simply.
[break][break]
Through the specially designed glass, the green-haired man planned to observe his apprentice's running capabilities. He stood quietly, arms crossed as he stared through the window; he was hoping to become impressed again. The redhead's aim proved to already be rather incredible, displaying she was a worthy candidate for blood manipulation if he could teach her to focus. The remaining tests were merely being accomplished to give Nathan an idea of Demetria's abilities.
Demetria had a smug grin on her face when he tried countering her comment. "I guess we will never figure out." She countered back to him before being asked a question before answering it. As soon as Nathan had suggested testing her speed, she found herself somewhat interested again. At least then she could show him just how fast she was in comparison to him, which meant her firing would be even better. When Nathan had left, she sighed for a few minutes, not really used to exercising so she didn't bother moving from her spot. I wonder what he is planning in there.... She was pulled from her thoughts when she heard him talking from a microphone. Demetria shrugged, moving towards the track to prepare herself. She started on the lap, unsure on how he was supposed to test her.
As soon as he told her to go ahead and run, she sped up, having chosen to go a slower speed to avoid using up all her energy at once. This is rather boring, what the hell does this have anything to do with training? Why is it so important for him to know my speed? It isn't like I'm going to be running away to avoid getting hit, no, I would keep going no matter the reason. She thought to herself before suddenly something had come out from the ground in front of her. She turned slightly so that when she crashed into it, her side would be hit instead of going face forward. Where the hell did this thing come from? She thought to herself, unaware of the real reason it had popped up from the ground in the first place. Wait.... No... She quickly regained her balance before looking back towards Nathan, hoping to see him through that glass. You.... you are the reason it showed up. She thought to herself, somewhat pleased with the challenge but at the same time annoyed.
She was determined as ever to break these walls, now that she knew it was possible that one was here, she had a pretty good idea of there being more, somewhere around here but she wasn't sure where because there wasn't a sign of it on the ground. She closed her fist, attempting to hit the wall in front of her. She wasn't going to run around it, no, it was either going to move out of her way, or she was going to destroy it before passing through, which ever would come first. She wasn't about to stop this training over the risk of there being more out there.
From behind the glass, Nathan watched his apprentice run laps. While they would never discover if the male vampire was fast enough to avoid being the victim of Demetria’s bullets, he knew it was better. He believed he was fast enough, but nonetheless, worrying Tristan was a crime he refused to commit. After they began dating, Nathan devoted himself to maintaining the blond's happiness, and he was certain receiving a nasty injury would only result in immense worry. As the redhead began speeding up into a sprint, the green-haired man's eyes trailing her movements, surprised by her speed. There was a glance taken towards his numbers dialling up on the monitor as the radar scanned Demetria's movement better than Nathan's eyes. She appeared to be gradually getting more comfortable with her speed, the green-haired man waiting until the numbers remained in a solid range. He shifted his steps, uncrossing his arms to hover his index finger above the button. Above the red button was a label which read 'Wall One'.
[break][break]
The button would abruptly bring up one of the four walls on the track, Nathan having each memorized. There were a few more moments where the male vampire merely watched, his hovering finger gradually moving down. Once Demetria rounded the corner, going down a longer track, the green-haired man pushed down on the button. Abruptly, a large metal wall burst up from a slot in the ground to block Demetria's path. A smirk touched the male vampire's lips as the redhead turned, but proceeded to crash into the metal wall. Clearly, she needed some assistance with her reaction time, however, there was hardly anybody who could dodge it during their first time. When his apprentice glanced back through the glass, Nathan waved with his open hand, still smirking victoriously from surprising Demetria. He watched her carefully, noticing her fingers curl into a fist before taking aim at the wall, but Nathan released the button before his apprentice could smack it hard. Afterwards, he turned to the microphone to speak to his apprentice.
[break][break]
"You need to work on your reaction time. Razors and some mutants can be pretty fast, so you need to be prepared for anything which can come in your path," he explained simply. "Also, please don't break anything. If you break it, you pay for it. Now back to running!"
[break][break]
After his announcement, Nathan backed away from the microphone and returned to the main control panel for the walls. He wanted Demetria to proceed with her running exercise so he could continue sharpening her reaction time and alertness through unpredictably bringing a wall up.
Demetria had looked away, rolling her eyes when Nathan had waved at her with that smirk on his face. She had attempted to hit the wall with her fist only for it to suddenly return back into the ground where it had come from. She could hear Nathan's words, but when he mentioned if she were to break anything that she'd have to pay for it, she just smirked slightly. So in other words, if I can claim it was on accident.... I don't have to pay for it. She thought to herself, waving her hand back at him as if to give him the hint she got the point before starting her run again. I know exactly how I want to handle these wall problems. I don't know how many times it will take before I manage to do it but I will get my revenge on him throwing a wall on me in the first place. She started her running again, forcing herself in yet another comfortable speed as she went around the track.
I'm almost positive that he has other walls laying around here. It would be foolish to think otherwise. She thought to herself as she kept her speed constant. Though she could go slower, she had reason to believe that she wouldn't prove her theory of there being more walls unless she was going at least the same speed or faster than she was when she got hit by the wall the first time, as to mess with her ability to stop in time. I don't see how getting hit by a wall becomes a good comparison to Terrors. He does realize that it would have been better to have an example that could attack me back, right? She thought to herself as she watched, waiting for the next wall to appear. As soon as I can prove there is more walls, the sooner I can prepare my next plan of action towards handling them all. She thought to herself, forcing the smirk to fall from her face as to appear innocent as she completed another lap around the track.
Amusement touched Nathan's features the longer his training lesson proceeded. After being forced to run these laps by his brother only to be abruptly interrupted by walls, the vampire thought it felt incredible to become a mere observer. Under most circumstances, Nathan was the runner, attempting to remain alert as he frantically watched for suddenly appearing walls threatening to block his path. While the training was unconventional, the green-haired man learned the consequences of expectation in a battlefield scenario; enemies could come from anywhere with plans to attack you. The vampire desired to teach his apprentice the importance of remaining alert to her surroundings, and creating an unexpected threat appeared to be the best method to display those ideals. Hunters needed to be prepared, and Nathan was required to make Demetria ready for being attacked or blocked at any moment. The vampire kept watching Demetria for a few moments, shortly grabbing a chair and sitting down as he observed.
[break][break]
A casual glance was provided towards the speedometer, the male vampire watching it gradually tick upwards until finally ceasing in a steady range. There were a few moments spared to watch Demetria, the full-fledged hunter waiting for when it was most unexpectant. Once the redhead appeared to be getting comfortable, Nathan's finger hovered over the button, feeling the smooth plastic while he waited. He allowed minutes to pass, keeping his hand hidden on the control panel as he watched Demetria run. When she went down a long stretch of track, he prepared to lift the door in front of her; door #3 in this situation. Another smirk touched his lips as he waited for the outcome, hoping he would be amused.
Demetria couldn't help but feel annoyed that another wall hadn't appeared just yet. Perhaps she was wrong to believe there to be more than one in this area. Of course that hadn't stopped her from feeling wary, but if she couldn't prove there were more walls she wasn't going to be able to prepare for them. She would continue along the track, trying to decide how she wanted to handle the situation. At one point in time she found herself zoning out as she imagined getting her chance to destroy the wall, but within a few minutes she was reminded of the fact she was running and had to focus if she didn't want to be hit by the same wall over again. She couldn't see Nathan because she was too busy running, unaware of how walls were going to help determined her speed. She couldn't help but believe there was more to the training besides testing her speed. For her to return the favor to the wall, it wouldn't benefit if she had run into a real enemy but it would make her feel better.
So if she had to think of the wall as an enemy the closest she got to it was possibly shooting but she wasn't going to attempt to waste her bullets, which left only one option. Of course it would have to be perfected over time but the only way to do that would be to have more walls fall down in front of her. So she waited, finding this running to be somewhat soothing until suddenly a wall had appeared in front of her. She hadn't been ready for it so she had badly turned before crashing into it. She had something else in mind for handling this wall but had lost her chance. She couldn't help but feel like he was taking his time to lower the wall so once more she threatened to hit it before it was out of her way. If I need to pay for his wall, I can afford it. She thought to herself, resuming her running as soon as the wall was no longer in her way.
That was another wall, I know it was in a different location, meaning I was correct to assume there is more than one. It is time to take action and it seems that I need to keep studying to determined when he will have them show up.
The extensive wait was designed to meddle with Demetria as Nathan attempted to make the walls unexpected appearances rather than predictable. Reaction time and hastily analyzing situations was significant, thus the green-haired vampire desired to amuse himself with these teachings. After years of being forced to run these laps, the male vampire was over-zealous about throwing somebody else into the ring. There had been an extensive period of time when Nathan merely watched his apprentice run laps, waiting for the most opportune time to strike and launch his attack. He had reclined in the meagre chair, awaiting the proper moment to push the button and unleash the sudden appearance of the walls. Considering the manner which his apprentice attempted to punch one of the walls, the green-haired man was prepared for future physical rebukes in response to the sudden appearance of his walls. There was a resistance to allow a smirk to crawl onto his lips, the male vampire refusing to leave in queues for Demetria to discover and use for her advantage.
[break][break]
The statement of determining her speed was merely a facade in hopes Demetria would push herself to become faster, providing the obstacles with a chance to obstruct her path, resulting in crashes. An amused smirk graced the green-haired man's face as the redhead crashed into the wall. For a few extra moments, Nathan allowed his finger to keep the button pressed down, the male vampire enjoying Demetria's reactions. Once her threat was made, the full-fledged hunter lifted his finger, resulting in the wall returning to its slot. Promptly afterwards, his gaze returned to the microphone as he pushed down a different button to allow Demetria to hear his voice.
[break][break]
"Having fun?" He asked in a teasing tone. "You need to react faster, or else a razor may tear you apart. Prepare for anything. Now go back to your laps."
[break][break]
Afterwards, Nathan returned to reclining in his chair, eyes gazing through the glass to observe his apprentice. The male vampire knew the redhead's only chance at survival on the field was proper training; without it, hunters would risk more injuries. Sparing, training and various other forms of skill improvement were crucial as a result. While Nathan was not necessarily critical, he would not allow his apprentice to graduate until he was certain she could adequately handle herself on the field. This resulted in the rigorous training being the utmost importance to allow Demetria to become a powerful huntress and a real threat in combat against Assembly forces.
Demetria ignored him while she started running again, more determined than ever to figure out where the walls would appear so that when the time came, she could give an appropriate reaction by ramming into it with the hopes of breaking them down. It was the least she could do since he planned on having them go in front of her for the sole purpose of crashing in the first place. Now lets see here, two of them in different spots, the real question is, does he have more and if so how many more? I need to figure that out, it means I'm going to have to endure through more of these damn walls appearing out of nowhere without attacking them.... She didn't like the idea of getting attacked without returning the favor.
I think he is enjoying this way too much, as if he thinks it is the perfect revenge for when we first met. I guess I'll have to show him no mercy as soon as I figure out where every single walls is. In the meantime, I'll plan how I'll get away with breaking his walls, claiming it was on accident because I rammed into them. He honestly can't expect me to pay for his walls when he put them out in front of me, not when ramming into them was the reason when I supposedly crashed in the first place. She thought to herself, running around lap around the track. "The walls make a horrible razor, I think you'd make a better opponent and frankly I'd be able to kick your ass without you disappearing on me." She answered him back finally.
"You look too comfortable in that room over there. I suppose that is what happens when you have no skill in sparring." She taunted, knowing one of two things would happen, he would counter or come out, which ever the reason, she remained running on the track.
There was an amused smirk stretched across Nathan's face as he leaned back in the chair, arms crossed while he observed Demetria with his yellow-green eyes. Receiving the opportunity to witness another individual smacking into walls proved to be extremely entertaining. This was the male vampire’s first time watching the display without running the cruel tracks, and he enjoyed every second of it. There was something comedic about attempting to teach Demetria to react quickly to abrupt situations; he wondered if Donovan became this amused observing his own attempts at hastily accomplished stops or dodges. After years of his brother's absence, Nathan could finally understand why fiddling with the controls of the walls was an enjoyable event. The first time the male vampire managed to trick Demetria through abruptly causing a wall to emerge from the floor's slot proved to be the greatest reaction considering she thought there would be no consequences to running these laps. Proving the redhead incorrect in her assumption of safety were the reactions which delighted Nathan.
[break][break]
The green-haired man's eyes returned to the speedometer, watching the numbers start ticking upwards as his apprentice proceeded to run the track. Alas, when Demetria proceeded to taunt him openly, stating his lack of skill in sparing, Nathan's eyes lowered into a glare. These pathetic remarks were ill-placed in the hunter's opinion considering the redhead had only observed his fighting capabilities on a single occasion. The evening of the Valentine's Day Dance, he had protected her alongside her boyfriend after they foolishly decided to remain involved instead of allowing the profession to handle his craft. Fortunately, the green-haired man had disposed of the terror's that evening with the assistance of his blood manipulation. Finally, Nathan shifted from his relaxed position to sit up straight, finger landing on the intercom button to allow his voice to be heard.
[break][break]
"Listen, Miss Prissy. We gotta start with the basics, and if you keep running your mouth, I WILL BEAT YOU INTO A BLOODY PULP!" Nathan threatened sadistically. "Now RUN YOUR LAPS!"
[break][break]
There were tones of temperament to Nathan's voice when he spoke in response to the redhead's comments. Hot-headed and arrogant, those traits were frequently associated with the male vampire's attitude, thus his mild sensitivity to criticism; especially when those words were leaving the mouth of somebody he rescued from possible death. When it arrived at the walls, the green-haired man's mercy was limited as he waited for Demetria to approach one; a wall on a corner edge. Once she was close, the male vampire tapped the button of wall #1 (a wall he already brought up), the wall only going high enough to trip from the meagre tap. If his apprentice planned on running her mouth, Nathan planned on playing dirty when it arrived at this training.
Demetria had started on her laps again, pleased when she heard his voice because it seemed to her that she might have hit a nerve. She remained quiet, a smug grin on her face. Beat me into a bloody pulp? As if, however even if you did manage, I would only return the favor. Such a hot tempered boy. She thought to herself. As she rounded the corner, a wall suddenly appeared. She thought it would go higher so she had turned, planning on ramming into it only to trip over the top. Since she had turned to her side, she started rolling before finally coming to a stop. She quickly stood up from the ground to look back at the glass, forcing the smug grin to appear back on her face again. "Is that what you call a bloody pulp? If that is the best you can do, I won't have trouble treating you the same way." After making her comment, the smug grin had become real, feeling quite please at how easily it had become to angrier him so much.
"Quit playing around with the walls, explain to me why they are used as your example! Is your goal for me to stop before advancing towards them or did you plan on having me dodge to the side?" It really didn't matter what his answer would be, the thought of dodging was out of the question. She had studied razors upon joining and despite the damages they could inflict, she always handled things head on. Dodging is such a cowardly move. She thought to herself before she started on the tracks again. I'll show him what I'll do as soon as I see the walls coming up again. I won't let him be amused without getting something in return. She thought to herself, debating on how she would determined how tall the wall would be once it came out of the ground. I need to take more hits if I want to study the walls further. He will regret using them against me even if he believes he has good reason for it. She thought to herself, keeping her pace as she rounded the corner.
A sour expression remained on Nathan’s face as he bitterly stared out the window at his apprentice who he instructed to run laps. The criticism she provided was unappreciated considering Demetria was still a meagre apprentice, alas, it succeeded in bothering Nathan. Even prior to the premature demise of his older brother, the young vampire worked strenuously to become a suitable fighter with intentions to save others from the emotional torment of loss. Each passing day he strives to improve, thus he refused to allow the redhead to state otherwise without any substantial proof. Should there arrive a day where somebody did provide proof of his hunting failure, Nathan would only train harder to become a powerful and useful hunter. There was a deep temptation to leave the control room to start "sparring" his apprentice and causing some damage to Demetria; while Nathan would avoid seriously harming her, he would enjoy minor bouts of pain he could inflict. Silently, the male vampire proceeded to observe the lap running, waiting for the girl to begin talking smack; to warrant him the opportunity to enact revenge on his apprentice. Nobody truly mustered up the bravery to outright criticize him, especially considering the sadistic threats he uttered on occasion.
[break][break]
An amused smirk briefly graced Nathan’s lips when he successfully tripped Demetria. Clearly, she had fallen for the pattern of the walls consistently being brought up entirely and expected similar treatment. There were hardly any patterns in battle, especially considering the moves calculated by the enemy would always be different. Analyzing the situation swiftly was required should somebody wanted to avoid death, although, Nathan was renown for his brash decision making in the midst of battle; his fixation was to murder these creatures who stole his brother from him. When his apprentice rose, the male vampire’s eyes narrowed in a glare as he noticed the smug grin touching her lips. She began to speak, Nathan clenching his fists as he listened to the derogatory comments she stated against him. A fire began to burn inside Nathan, the short-tempered man’s anger easily becoming evident. He suddenly stood from the chair, kicking it back into the wall, an echo erupting through the control room. Shortly, he clicked the intercom button and leaned towards the microphone.
[break][break]
“SHUT UP! I WAS TRYING TO TEACH YOU TO FUCKING REACT BEFORE SOMETHING COULD MURDER YOU, BUT IF YOU’RE GOING TO BE A SMUG LITTLE ASSHOLE ABOUT IT, THEN GET TO THE SPARRING RING!” Nathan shouted loudly into the intercom, not bothering to censor any profanities which escaped his lips.
[break][break]
After listening to Demetria's criticism, Nathan was prepared to keep the promise of beating his apprentice into a bloody pulp. The male vampire hastily exited the control centre, striding across the training basement to fetch his blood rich water bottle to make certain he had ample fuel for his abilities. Several large gulps of the water bottle were taken, the green-haired man successfully draining it before shooting a nasty glare towards Demetria.
Demetria heard a noise coming from the control room, most likely from a chair hitting a wall but since she wasn't able to see, she wasn't completely sure, but then again she couldn't bring herself to care much either. His reasoning for the wall made sense but she couldn't bring herself to be happy that she had ran into the wall multiple times. React huh? Well how about one more round, I'll react alright but I promise you won't like it. She thought to herself, not fazed by his threats of sparring her already. "Well it is about damn time." She answered him back, watching him exit the control room. Despite him going back for his bottle of blood, she left hers back in the basement, untouched. His nasty glare earned him a smug grin in return.
I know he is good, I've seen him fight before, but if I want to determined how good, I'm going to have to defend against his oncoming attacks, you never know he might seriously attempt to hospitalize me. She thought to herself, "Lady's first...." She answered, but instead of going first, she gestured him to lead the way. Besides, he started swearing at me, so he had it coming. She thought to herself, waiting to see what he had in store for her.
There was little tolerance Nathan possessed in regards to Demetria, especially after the rude comments the redhead stated in response to his skills. The ill-tempered vampire could not allow his smug apprentice to get away with her nasty comments in regards to the capabilities he possessed. Gulping down the blood allowed for his powers to increase, Nathan hoping this would assist in allowing him to defeat his apprentice in their coming spar. The male vampire refused to allow the redhead to beat him, especially after the manner she spoke to him and the lack of respect when she decided to address him. Despite witnessing his fighting capabilities during the fight on Valentine's day, the woman appeared reluctant to believe he held numerous skills in regards to battle. However, due to the redhead's need to disrespect her mentor, Nathan was keen on giving her a variety of bruises; to paint her skin blue, purple and black. While he would attempt to avoid cutting her, the male vampire would spare no time giving her numerous bruises. Currently, his apprentice appeared unfazed by his threats, despite Nathan being determined to keep his word on it.
[break][break]
A full water bottle of blood remained perch beside his now emptied one, Nathan raised a brow; was his apprentice being foolish and deciding to avoid drinking? Once finished his bottle, the full-fledged hunter stomped towards the sparring ring, ignoring Demetria's smug comment as he approached the wide open field, entering through a doorway. Inside was reinforced walls, alongside varying obstacles made of similar reinforced materials, designed to add a special essence to the sparring match.
[break][break]
"Stay here, I will set the countdown to go off then we can fight," he growled.
[break][break]
Briefly, Nathan entered the control room, setting the countdown before crossing to the side of the room where he would be stationed. On a screen high above the control panel, red numbers flash, ticking down from 10 seconds. Time before the spar went by slowly for the male vampire as he stared ahead, making no solid plans on account of the enemies thoughts being subject to change his decision. Eventually, a noise blarred, signalling them to proceed, but Nathan remained still, watching to see what Demetria would do.
Demetria watched him go into the room, he claimed he was going to set a count down and come back but she would believe that when she saw it. As far as she was concerned, he didn't plan on fighting her until he proved it. Though she had seen him fight, she honestly believed she would be able to withstand him. She did after all have two brothers that sometimes had motives to wrestle her. She wasn't about to lose just because somebody happened to be in TRS longer than her, giving them an advantage in being here the longest with the training required to succeeded. As soon as Nathan had come out to take his position, she found herself somewhat excited for the events about to unfold. She wouldn't be dealing with a damn wall here, only a boy that believed he was much more skilled then her just because he was here the longest. The noise blared, she remained in her spot, honestly believing him to go first. Seeing as he hadn't moved she decided to rush towards him first. Don't you dare hold back. She thought to herself, swaying so that she could try and go behind him before attempting to kick him in the back of the leg.
The pause before the battle was always interesting to Nathan, especially when his eyes gained the opportunity to stare at his upcoming opponent; even should it merely be a spar. Across from the full-fledged hunter stood his apprentice, who requested for sparring the instant they entered the specialized training area. While Nathan wished more training occurred prior to their spar, his apprentice had managed to irritate him to extreme points. The arrogant young man failed to tolerate her constant, disrespectful criticism. While a majority of mentors may have reprimanded training lessons until their apprentice learned to display respect, Nathan thought otherwise. Certainly, providing his apprentice with plenty of bruises would result in her listening, right? Gradually, the countdown ticked, excitement roaming Nathan’s veins as they proceeded to get closer to the inevitable spar. There was always something enjoyable about sparring, even when his opponent managed to somehow defeat him, it remained jovial, albeit, mildly painful depending on intensity. The loud blaring of the siren echoed through the large room, notifying himself and Demetria it was time to begin. There was a slight narrowing to Nathan’s eyes as he waited for the redhead’s move, opting to watch the first pathetic move she would make.
[break][break]
When she rushed towards him, Nathan watching for the queues which would relay her move. The kick was aimed for his leg, the male vampire using his enhanced speed to move forward and dodge. Adrenaline already began flowing through his body as he quickly moved, a tailwind following from the intense speed. There was no hesitation as Nathan attempted to kick Demetria in the back, trying to plant his foot around the shoulders to send her face first into the ground. A smirk graced his lips, the male fantasizing over ending the battle within a few minutes and humiliating Demetria.
