panya and from this golden dream, be reborn. general info
appearance Panya appears as a young woman with fair skin, long silver white hair, and light turquoise-colored eyes. She has a refined taste in fashion, adorning a beautifully white silk ball gown, joined with a pair of ballet shoes, and topped with a color-matching cape. She wears many assortments of accessories, which includes a gold headband, a pendant, and a gold neckband shaped like crosses. Most notably, she will always (if not mostly) be seen floating off the ground. That's how she keeps her clothes so pristine, after all! personality
abilities Air Manipulation \ Mastery: As an air nymph, she has an affinity for air-type magic. She can move the air, create gusts of wind and send enemies flying far into the distance. She can also create wind-made barriers as shields against projectiles. Her powers are most effective when combined with other elements. In her mountain home, she likes to use the freezing temperatures to create a flurry of cold, dry wind. But because her form isn't cold resistant, and her clothes can only keep her warm for so long, she can't fight time-consuming battles. When flying, she can reduce wind resistance, allowing her to soar at greater speeds over long distances. Her most notable capability is her natural ability to remain midair at all times, as that doesn't require much energy. She does need regular sleep though, and she has to be on the ground for that. Air Purification \ Intermediate: She is equipped with the ability to remove impurities in the air. Air purification is a difficult and draining task, that will always leave her weak and defenseless as soon as she cleanses the air. On top of that, she can only cure a small portion; a miasma of it is simply too much for her. Charm \ Beginner: She only recently got the hang of charm magic, and so she only understands the basics. She can weave good luck in fortune within small trinkets or toys, though it's hardly profitable. Ward \ Beginner: Her current understanding of wards is on the same level as charms. The wards she fashions are meant to keep out weaker undead species, as her clansmen have had an unfortunate encounter with them in the past. This is definitely the kind of magic that requires apprenticeship, because she is incapable of learning more about it on her own. Noteworthy Weaknesses: She is physically weak. The poor girl is so reliant on her magic that the very idea of having depleted magic scares her. Even walking a few miles is exhausting. Using too much of her physical energy forces her to rest in order to re-energize herself, and she will not hesitate to sleep in the middle of a busy street in order to do so. backstory Panya had spent all her life in the northern mountains. She was the product of a union between two air nymphs of a small clan. Born in a time of great uncertainty, with evil running rampant and plaguing their homes, her parents held fast to the Old Ways and were fully determined to protect the mountains, as per the ancient practice of their divine-given roles as nymphs. They passed their knowledge onto their daughter, teaching her air-magic, honing her skills, as well educating her in other types of magic meant to aid in her role for the centuries to come. They passed on their love for nature onto their daughter, as well as their disapproval for all manner of depraved creatures that left the earth worse than they found it. Her clan was small. There was only a handful of air nymphs that still lived there with her in the mountains. Most nymphs these days prefer to venture out in the world, living with other clans, or making a new place for themselves in some other highland. And then there were the odd nymphs, that sought the company of questionable strangers in that eccentric place they call Lorsette. And yet, they must always return to the mountain, every once or twice a decade, to replenish their energy. Panya's childhood friend was one of those odd nymphs. Her name was Everette, and Panya loved her like she would love a little sister. Wild, unruly, and dangerously curious—Everette regularly tested Panya's patience with her gallivanting and rambling about the outside world (which Panya personally found unappealing). When they were young and still forbidden from leaving the mountains, Everette would fly close their borders and would try to interact with any outside creatures she came in contact with. Panya had to physically reign Everette in, or send those foul creatures flying, for fear of losing her friend to one of those savages. However, Panya was sad, but not at all surprised, when Everette left home as soon as she came of age. Eventually, she made peace with the fact that Everette was more than capable of handling herself. She also had to accept that they had already chosen their path in life, that Panya's place in the world was in the mountains and Everette's place was anywhere but there. And so years passed, with Everette returning to visit as promised, sharing stories of her grand adventures with Panya, then leaving just as suddenly as she had returned. Although she still found those stories strange and unpleasant, it had ever so slowly sparked a tiny bit of curiosity in her that she could no longer deny. Over the years, Panya had grown more and more into her responsibilities, and that meant that she had grown more and more lonely, and even bored. It suddenly occurred to her that with each of Everette's visit, never once had the girl asked her about Panya's days. It suddenly occurred to her that she needn't to, for Panya's days were always the same. Nothing new ever happened there, nothing that would stir the mind and leave them asking for more despite the risks—not like what it did to Everette. Until one day, Panya had had enough. To the surprise of everyone around her, including her parents, she left the comfort of her home in pursuit of the outside world. She just wanted to observe, to see what it was that left Everette, and so many other nymphs, mesmerized to the point of insanity. She'll spend a day out there, maybe two, and then fly back home immediately after. That should put an end to her incessant curiosity. misc 1.) She's very good at cleaning clothes! Her air magic is pretty useful for that actually, and not time consuming or magic consuming at all. 2.) She does not like walking for two reasons: one, because she's lazy af; and two, she doesn't want to disturb the home of the animals living nearby. Treading on their home would be a rude thing to do! She doesn't care so much about walking in other territories though, particularly with humans. | roleplayer info ☆ NAME whiskee ☆ RP EXPERIENCE 5+ years ☆ TIMEZONE central ☆ GENDER female ☆ AGE twenty-four ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS n/a ☆ FACE CLAIM FATE/GRAND ORDER, anastasia ---------------------- THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO WHISKEE.
