A cool sea breeze rushed against the brunette as he sat down, criss-cross applesauce style, on the edge of that large cliff. The lighthouse stood strongly, almost intimidatingly, behind him, it's presence alone making the nephilim feeling almost...inferior? Which was strange, since it was only a building. Maybe it was just the height of it, or it's dark coloring? Either way, the man decided to simply ignore it and enjoy his time there; after all, he had never found himself in this side of Lorsette. The coastal area was simply something he had looked on for a far, always being too uncomfortable to go near. But, without a doubt, sitting here on the soft grass and staring down at the waves beating against the cliffside; it was calming. A feeling Leon rarely experienced.[break][break]

With a sigh of bliss, Leon laid his back against the grass, stretching out his legs to the edge. His feet dangled from the cliff in that moment, but the nephilim couldn't find anything in him that really cared. What was the worst thing that would happen? His shoes fall? Leon could be hanging from the edge himself and he wouldn't care. Maybe it was a disadvantage of being sad and not exactly caring for himself.[break][break]

It was only the sound of footsteps that stirred him from his strange, sad trance. Sitting back up, Leon glanced down at his appearance, hoping that he was at least somewhat presentable. Khaki shorts, beat up converse, deep blue polka dot button down...'Oh fuck, I look like a hipster.' Was the only thing that came to his mind, resulting in a chuckle leaving his throat at the ridiculous thought. Yet again, he barely could bring himself to give a shit. The doctor only hoped his newest companion didn't care much.

It's a beautiful day on the beach, one that can even calm Takemizukachi's nerves.

Finals are like new chemicals that have been forced down to a student's throat, to check if they would react in a positive light but most of them are usually negative due to the pressure of parents and how that good grades would land them into a decent job. The faekin felt as if universities are graded just because of their grades and not from personality. They then sighed, nibbling on the blue soda-flavored Popsicle with a hand in their pockets while listening to the calming waves of the sea.

The sea has always been a companion towards them, the sound of waves crashing through rocks along with the undeniable feeling of euphoria on having your toes tickled by the bubbles as well as smelling the saltiness of the air. Of course there are scented candles that hold the smell of an ocean breeze, it wouldn't compare towards the nature of Starlight Beach that complements well with the season of summer in Lorsette.

Takemizukachi encounters a man wearing the typical beach attire (except with the Converse sneakers) that one would wear when they go to tropical island but nonetheless, they didn't mind if they looked like a hipster or not. They yearn for company now that Sibyl has returned back to the forest along with her fae mother and human father. Still silent, they sat beside Leon while hugging their knees, still sucking on the frozen treat.

Glancing over through the corner of his eye, Leon carefully watched as the stranger came up, settling down next to him without saying a word. Usually, such a move would seem uncomfortable or awkward, especially since the brunette was rarely in any sort of silence, but it just...fit the mood to be quiet. It was comfortable. That was the right word to describe that moment, especially once he returned his gaze to the beautiful sea laid out before them. Even the smell of sea salt made that second even more magical than the last.

'Fuck, even my thoughts are sounds hipster-ish.' A smile found it's way onto his face at the joke. It had been a sort of development recently where he had become more and more hipster-like, but the doctor could at least be happy that he didn't act like it. At least, in Leon's own opinion, he didn't. But, he was quite biased against such, since he REALLY didn't like hipsters. It was like how he really didn't like angels, but those pesky winged fucks pulled ahead of hipsters just slightly on Leon's hate ratio.

Returning to the moment at hand, the brunette ran his hand through his hair, the mess swooping back down. "Is it just me, or is the best place in Lorsette?" It was the first hint at any conversation, and Leon's voice seemed as innocent as it could be. It was one of the few geniune questions that he was curious about, especially since he wanted to know of every calm place that he could run to in the city.

takemizukachi turns towards the man who is lying down on the warm sands of starlight beach, a place where it's incredibly crowded during summer but it is one of those rare days where they didn't have to speak anything -- the silence filled beside them is good enough to admire the beauty of the waves that crash through the shore.

the faekin nods to the man's reply on how the beach is considered lorsette's most attractive tourist spot and takes a bite of their frozen treat that tasted like a soda pop that is sometimes sold during those old-themed state fairs or even as sweets in the carnival that they sometimes missed while they were a child. it sometimes brought them incredibly nostalgic memories and would love to return to their old town.

that is if the people are still tolerant to accept species who are not human. they do not want to revive the memory of their parents being accused to making a deal with the devil to attain witchcraft or even the power to become powerful gods that want the demise or misery of other people. it was just wrong judgement just because they used magic to defend themselves from being hurt and up until now, takemizukachi still takes the blame for their own death.

sibyl, the elf who saved them taught them not to wallow in the past but it can be hard.

the silence was there again as the faekin just looked the waves and decided to take off their shoes and socks, feeling the warm sand enveloping their feet as they immediately went to the shore's area where they can feel the trickling of salt water on the feet to which it is almost euphoric. a small laugh escaped through the girl's lips while finishing the treat as takemizukachi immediately does small kicks to distribute the water around but not strong enough to splash leon. " the water's refreshing. " they explain, smelling the salty air.

it was summer; a hazy yet comfortable one.
