Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.

Summer 2022
Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
With April, an activity check has arrived for members to do! Please post on the AC and tag all your accounts, including WIPs and OOC accounts. Failure to post on this AC will result in your accounts being marked inactive or deleted. Please note, due to a late start, the due date for this check has been adjusted for one time and one time only.
Crow sighed as he lit a cigar with a match or at least try to before the soft summer breeze blew it out. He sighed dropping the match on the ground, he took the cigar out of his mouth and put it in on the loops on his denim jacket. He glared he couldn't even enjoy a good smoke today, those damn Mounties o RCMP or whatever they were called were on his tail, thankfully not literally because that would hurt. His eyes scanned the suburbs of the town he was in, he didn't even know were he was at. Not even the town he was at, man didn't those Mounties have better things to worry about than an illegal immigrant.
He sighed this was going terribly he was tired of being chased by the American police, now he was being chased by the Canadian ones, just police with a different coat of paint. Man what was his next move, he wouldn't be able to go back to America for a while, so he guesses that he should just stay in this town for a while, after all what's the worst that could happen? He shook his head as he sighed what he wouldn't give for a smoke. As he walked bumped into someone. "Ah sorry about that didn't mean to run into you like that" Crow said to the person he bumped into, not even trying to hide his American Accent.
Alice went down the rabbit's hole, when she returned she'd forgotten who she was.

Alice had nothing better to do today. The sun had risen on another summer day with awoke the ghost from her slumber. While the fact remained she didn't actually need to sleep due to being a spirit, it helped time go by when she was bored and no one was around. Her typical places to sleep included the cemetery and the outside the church of Akari. As she began her day, Alice wandered around the suburbs in her usual attire until someone bumped into her, knocking her to the ground though she made no sound when she fell. She looked up to see a scruffy looking blonde man who apologized for running into her. The man had a thick American accent in comparison to Alice's British one. "That's quite alright there sir. No real harm done, see?" She she stood up, dusting off her gown and twirling around to show him she was unharmed. When she did, the bottom of her her gown twirled with her. "Are you new to town? You just don't seem to be from here. I would know, I've been living in Lorsette for quite some time now."

I never thought I'd see
Crow quirked his eye brow "It's good you're ok, but from that accent, I bet you ain't from around here either" Crow stated it wasn't really a question. He then pulled a cigar off of wanna the cigar holding loops on his jacket, he put it in his mouth, and skillfully lit a match then managed to light the cigar. He then waved the match which easily put it out. He breathed deeply, the breathed out. "You don't mind if I smoke do ya, If not I was gonna do it anyway" He asked not really caring of the shorter blondes answer.
Crow then nervously looked around, he needed to be careful after all, never knew when those Mounties were gonna' jump him. "To be fair though, I've never really had somewhere, were I've really belonged just came to town a short while ago" Crow said being kind of vague for why he was in Lorsette. He didn't trust the midget after all.

The man made a comment about Alice's accent. Which just made her laugh in amusement. "Very true good sir. While it's true I'm not from here originally, I've been living here for quite some time." She watched him pull out a cigar and light it up. He asked if she minded if he smoked then said it didn't matter if she did. This made the spirit laugh once more. He was certainly an odd fellow but he might provide some entertainment for her nevertheless. She didn't respond to his question but she did observe him as he nervously looked around. She wondered what had him so on edge and she planned to find out. Either that or use his paranoia as a way to mess with him. His answer to her earlier question was quite vague. This only made Alice all the more curious about him. "Pardon me, sir, I hate to pry but, you seem to be quite a bit on edge. Penny for your thoughts?" She could tell he probably wouldn't actually tell her the reason for this but it wasn't all that important to Alice. At least not as important as using this to mess with him. "Don't worry about me telling anyone. After all... the dead tell no tales, good sir." She said with a sly smile before becoming semi-transparent and phasing right through him, ending up behind him, giggling. Usually, that little act scared most humans shitless. It'd be fun to see his reaction.
Bellamy grunted in annoyance. So she wasn't from here either which he figured. She then went see through, and then went through him. "Ugh don't do that, it feels weird." And no you can't know what's going on, I've been on my own long enough that people don't do things out of the kindness of their hearts". Crow said with a glare at the British Girl.
This child was getting on his nerves. It was none of her business. He inhaled on a his cigar deeply, try not to get angry, she was still a kid. She was annoying him, so the smoking was actually calming him down. "Plus it's best, if you stay out of other peoples problems, even if you're ghost" Crow said to his fellow blonde.

It wasn't a reaction she would normally expect from someone who she just phased through. Nevertheless, it was still entertaining since it did annoy him. He also declined her offer to lend a listening ear. He wasn't as dumb as she believed him to be, to begin with, but him being easy to mess with made up for that more than sufficiently. Alice burst out laughing, so much that she began to float mid-air holding her stomach. "I see you're no fool, good sir. Though you are quite the odd fellow... Most of the living are scared shitless when I phase through them that way. I take it you aren't just some human, are you?" She said with a smirk and a mischevious look in her eyes. Alice was still floating in mid-air. Only now she was in a position as if she were sitting in a chair or something.
