Takemizukachi Inoue i wish for better days. general info
appearance They didn't actually cut their own long, honey brown, mane that they've kept for almost thirty years -- it's actually hidden through their thick shoulder-length hair through a bun that they actually made. For their attire, it's usually the plain gray sweater and white blouse underneath along with ripped jeans and lavender Converse sneakers. Their face is adorned with hazel brown doe-like eyes along with a precious smile with two dimples. Takemizukachi's usual disposition includes being an actual friendly person with penchant for anything with lightning and storms, sometimes reading books about natural disasters when they have the free time. Their fingertips sometimes dispel a small static at times due to their mastery in lightning magic (but nonetheless controlled). Has a petite build. personality
abilities You are a 'Warded One' -- a faekin with the exceptional ability to cast spells of the fiery element of lightning to the point that it's like a tingle to your bones. Having been left to the forests at the borders of Lorsette in fear that you might get caught by a mad crowd wanting to burn you for paralyzing a child that tried to harm you, you are taken home by a faerie in exchange of having your parents burnt into the stake for making deals with the devil to attain witchcraft. LIGHTNING MAGIC (MASTER): It's actually more of the family's specialty -- with their father (Akihito) specializing in wind magic while their mother (Kazuyo) can control the manipulation of thunder in terms of witchcraft. It did manifest first as a single spark; every time someone would touch Takemizukachi's fingertips there would a small feeling of static felt and would grow a little painful if in come with contact to metal (eg. watches, bracelets, necklace) up to a panicked fight that made them paralyze a small boy using their own magic. In the Inoue family, lightning magic is considered a magic hard to master, with Akihito only having a little mastery towards the topic of magic. Takemizukachi's case however, is said to be one of the rare ancestors that are gifted with this type of magic to handle with the only recent one being their great-grandfather or some say it would be because Kazuyo specializes in thunder. It did take a while for them to control it as they want to touch others without them being zapped with a little static. However, considering that they are more based on defensive magic, they mostly use the magic to make buffs (such as making someone resistant to electricity) rather than offensive methods. HEALING (INTERMEDIATE): Takemizukachi's healing magic takes the form of a small circle with yellow-hued lightning in guidance to their own lightning magic that they hold. With intermediate healing skills, they are limited to healing the following: cuts, gashes, and mild head trauma at four times the normal human healing rate. Using it longer than five minutes can cause them to be dizzy. AURA CAST (BEGINNER): Trying to learn the said ability only accessed by the faekin, the circle of healing only lasts up to a radii of three meters with the anyone in the circle will experience fifteen minutes of healing just by five minutes. It can only be cast once in a day and would Takemizukachi will fall into deep sleep for roughly three hours. SPEEDY RECOVERY OF PLANTS (BEGINNER): Only limited to perennial plants and flowers. CHARM (BEGINNER): Considering that faekin are slightly attractive people upon the removal of their own mortality in the complex rituals of the fae, Takemizukachi does have a little charm but it is only limited to domesticated animals (eg. dogs, cats, any house pet) but their own charm doesn't work on ones that are wild. backstory You are born to a family of mages -- immigrants hailing from the Rising Sun who have moved into the country of Canada for better fortunes. Having been born with magic in your veins, you started as an apprentice under your father who is a diviner that can read the patterns of the wind. With that, you want to able practice magic and be a master of wind magic but it seems that fate has other plans for you. There is this little spark in your fingertips that would make people yelp in surprise but in turn, you just blink in confusion on what is happening. Being on a town that welcomes its arms to witchcraft, you are free to practice magic as long as you don't hurt anyone -- at first, the town's mayor let it slip considering that you are a child at that time, unknowing that you have such large magic potential hidden inside. The power to control lightning just like your great-grandfather, it was surely a surprise to both of your parents but nonetheless tried to teach you on how to control it despite their lack of expertise on that said element. However, you had fallen into hard times when the mayor of the town decides to retire his position and passed it to his very own daughter. The ones who are of supernatural being never liked his own child considering she never liked people who control magic or of odd origins. Still, for a witch practicing the magic of lightning, you would not stop reading tomes at candle light or practicing your expertise in one of the forest glades even if there is a bloodbath between witches who had never done anything bad. Who knows if they have actually hexed someone? They seem innocent in your eyes. Now, your fear of hurting others settle when you are of eight years old; there is this schoolmate of yours who keeps on bullying you just because your descendants have the blood of witches. You tried your best to avoid him without using magic but there are people that would love to see you break; to make you show your own magic and point their fucking fingers like you are the bad guy. So you did, the memory still vivid: you remember a beam of navy blue-hued lightning hitting the child and he landed on a thud, paralyzed. The parents brought him to the hospital and demanded your family to pay the bill but you never knew that they are incredibly religious -- and by religious, they are blind fanatics of it. One in blindfolds and keeps on striking down with what they seem to be their own flaming swords when in reality they only hurt. The witch hunt began. With your parents, their bodies tied into the stake and never wanting their daughter to suffer the same fate as them, you are entrusted to your school adviser to whom you have out that she was an elf -- a half-breed of humans and the legendary faeries that call their forest as home. After a long trek away from the town that you gladly reside, you almost arrive at the forest on the border of another town named Lorsette where the elf brought you into a small settlement of the fae to which you thought were already extinct. Seeing your magical potential, they made you into what the humans call as faekin; humans possessing great magical potential that they elevate into a level of magical creatures similar to the elves. You stayed on the forest for almost a grand twenty years in fear of harming another human but the elf (named Sibyl) told you that fear will let you stay close and never experience life fully due to what happened. In a reluctant decision, they decided to move in the city of Lorsette where they are a student of law in one university. You aim to have a new life as a faekin and to also encourage having other friends with the citizens around as a way to create new memories that would earn you friends that you would love; after all, you don't want to hurt someone just because you can't control your own abilities. misc Concerning the incident of zapping their own bully, Takemizukachi has a fear of touching other people knowing that they might experience the static and eventually being paralyzed by a small zap of electricity. This is why they continue to train on how to control their own lightning magic so they wouldn't hurt anyone out of accident. | roleplayer info ☆ NAME VERO ☆ RP EXPERIENCE 5 YEARS ☆ TIMEZONE GMT +8:00 ☆ GENDER TIRED ☆ AGE SIXTEEN ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS @eojin ☆ FACE CLAIM CLASSI9, TAKI REN/RENTAROU ---------------------- THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO VERO.
