appearance At a mere 5’, Percy is a shorter woman that possesses a lean, supple figure. Her muscles are powerful, but maintain a slender, more subtle appearance. Up close, the amount she exercise to maintain her lean build becomes obvious to those who observe closely. A womanly figure can be visible at times depending on the clothes that Percy is wearing. Her more feminine appearance aspects can be considered a little lacking, with her hips not being overly wide and her breasts leaning more towards the smaller side. This at times gets her mistaken for a petite boy, especially if she is wearing looser clothing. Her facial construct tends to allow people to notice the more feminine edge to her appearance. Complexion wise, Percy is described as fair skinned, oftentimes leaning more towards the paler side. Scars are a common feature across Percy’s skin, most specifically sparing and battle ones on her hands, concentrating around her knuckles. The occasional pale scar can be discovered on other locations of her body, but these are less common. There is a large, pinkish-red burn scar across her back, narrowly touching her shoulders. Her face is best defined as soft with its gentle contours that make her sex more obvious. She possesses full cheeks, her cheek bones being more settled into her face. This subtly leads to her chin, which is more rounded, giving her an oval-shaped face. When it comes to her nose, it is small and roundish. Her eyes are an almond shape and have long, beautiful eyelashes which allow her to appear more feminine. Her hair narrowly reaches past her chin, ending just above her shoulders. A black headband is oftentimes around her head, a tight knot being at the back. This usually remains under her hair and is merely a common fashion choice. Expression wise, Percy is best described as guarded, rarely even cracking a smile towards others. Her face is oftentimes cold and devoid of emotion. With clothing, Percy does not possess a preference, truthfully it depends on the time of day. While on the streets during daylight, she is prone to wearing more casual clothing since she finds it easier to blend into crowds. The colder months are simple jackets and sweaters with a warm pair of sweats or the occasional pair of jeans. Warmer months, Percy can commonly be seen where darkly coloured tank tops which reveal her lithe frame. She still prefers pants, but will wear shorts when she feels up to it. During work hours, Percy remains more covered in dark clothing since she works through the night. Her attire for work consists of black cloaks and loose-fitting underclothes for the sake of remaining flexible and hiding numerous pieces of weaponry. Knives are commonly hidden throughout her attire, even working their way into her casual clothing. An axe is her main weapon of choice during her job besides her water manipulation. This axe remains strapped to her back and is rather hefty. A vile of holy water is constantly attached to her side due to her hatred of hell species. personality
abilities Water Manipulation -- Master Being a common tool for eliminating her enemies, Percy has trained her water manipulation to the best she can with the assistance of her father. She can control water in numerous forms, including its liquid, solid and gaseous states which gives her a large range to work with. This connects to her being capable of controlling ice and steam, although, she remains most capable with the ability in its liquidized state. Her ice and steam abilities remain minor, her least control being over the vapor state of water. Steam only listens to her to a degree, Percy being capable of pushing its direction, but not ceasing its rise. Steam takes more energy for Percy to control oppose to regular water. Ice on the other hand she can manipulate fairly easily, but this usually remains limited to small shields and striker attacks. Murky water can be controlled to a degree, but Percy can not control water that has an abundance of chemicals inside of it or is heavily polluted. Her prized form of manipulation is being capable of manipulating holy water, which is commonly the reason she is expertised in hell species assassination. She can accidentally dilute the holy water if she is not carefully keeping is separated from other bodies of water, which can result in the effects weakening. Using this ability over an extensive period of time can result in Percy becoming exhausted quickly. Being away from bodies of water can also result in an issue since drawing the moisture from the air takes time, energy and focus. Hot, dry days work heavily against Percy since this forces her to place more energy into drawing the necessary components of water. She is capable of drawing water from plants, this giving her a higher yielding than air. While she can change the temperature of water, she can still be burned or frozen as a result of it. The steam of a boiling pot can easily harm her hand just as the stiffness causing cold of ice can cause her muscles to tense up tremendously. When water is absorbed into the earth, it takes more time for Percy to draw it out. The more water under her influence, the more energy she requires in order to control. Underwater Breathing -- Natural Similar to a majority of nymphs, Percy is capable of breathing underwater. This ability occurs naturally, thus she does not possess control over it. Breathing underwater around polluted or chemical infested areas can make Percy incredibly sick or possible kill her. Enhanced Swim Speed -- Advanced Nymphs are meant to be natural born swimmers and Percy is definitely no exception to that. Her swimming abilities are incredible, granting her an enhanced speed. With ease, Percy can propel herself through bodies of water which makes her water-based combat incredibly powerful. Naturally, this speed enhancement only activates when she is in bodies of water, otherwise she will not gain this enhancement. Going to these incredible speeds can wear Percy down, resulting in her becoming exhausted should it be used extensively. Warding -- Intermediate Due to frequently being on the move, Percy does no use this ability as much as people may think. To her, it can become a waste of energy and until she stationed herself in Lorsette, was useless. Her control is variant and limited to a small area, this mostly being the rundown old shack she lives in. That is the only area she truthfully wards, but otherwise she does not bother. It takes lots of energy to create the wards and even some to maintain their strength. Percy also rarely uses wards considering her employer is unfortunately a hellhound. Charm Creation -- Beginner Never had there been a moment that Percy found a use in charms, thus she rarely uses the ability. As a result, her capabilities in charm creation have suffered immensely. This has limited what she could cause charms to accomplish alongside the size of which the charm could be. Creating a charm can exhaust her immensely, thus she avoids using the ability. backstory At the cost of her mother’s life, Percy was born after an extensive, laborious effort. She was smaller than average, the doctors skeptical about her survival from the day she was born. Alas, hope was held and gradually, Percy grew into a healthy young child. Afterwards, the child’s father became her primary caretaker and he was determined to offer her child the best life possible. For a majority of her infant years, she lived in the Rose Manor in Strasbourg, France with her grandparents. The Rose family were infamous nymph assassins and all descendants were expected to join the family business. This resulted in Percy’s training beginning at the impressionable age of 5 where she would begin the basics of her duty and start building her body in preparation for the future. Her days were filled with game-like activities meant to maintain her interest and train her for the future. To Percy, it was normal to be trained in the art of knives and to watch the older family members practice in sparring and various other training exercises. While others perhaps found this alarming, she always found herself at home in the regular noises of the manor. As years continued, the games became more vital as the contract game entered the girl’s like at about 7. All members participated, the expectation being to sneak around the house and “kill” your fellow housemates with specially designed paint weaponry. The home would always become a colourful mess, the entire family found themselves laughing each month they participated in the game. This is how Percy’s skills began sharpening, displaying her natural capabilities as an assassin, which lead her family to make her training more advanced. Her father felt incredibly proud, making the young girl desire to place all her efforts into training. The woman’s schooling became home-based and lacked breaks as her family became determined to complete her schooling as quickly as possible while balancing her specialized physical education designed to improving her assassination abilities. At the age of 9, her training was extreme, risking the possibility of bringing harm to young child with hopes of increasing her skill levels. It was around this age that she began to lay witness to the various wounds that her family members were gain outside of training due to extensive efforts in the field. She became well-acquainted with the concept of injury, making some believe that she could possibly fearless. In reality, she bottled all her fears away and never allowed it to be displayed upon her countenance. As she began rapidly approaching the age of 12 was when Percy was expected to complete her first mission, but there was an interruption. There was loud banging, the sound of crackling and various other sounds that roused her during the early hours of a cold, September day. A panic was within the house, causing the child to slowly slid out of the warm, safety of her cot. Her gray eyes scanned her room, until fixating on the thin smoke billowing through the top of the door. Concern entered her eyes, the child pressing her hand against the wall to discover the heated surface. Screams echoed on the other side, the sound of footsteps heavy through the hallway. Without hesitation, Percy abandoned the door, heading to her bedroom window and using her cup of water, slashed through the wire screen. She slipped through the freshly made heart, carefully stepping onto the tiled roof section with her bare feet. It caused numerous shivers, the tiles even managing to dig into her heavily calloused feet. Adrenaline pumped through her veins as she carefully crept across the rooftop to the back, where she witnessed her family fighting the vicious fires of demons. Her family noticed her and hastily informed her father who had returned home from her recent travels. She was scooped into her father’s arms and taken away from the battle scene. After that day, she never saw the rest of her family again. Afterwards, Percy and her father became vagabonds, leaving France immediately after the fire. At first, the child would pester her father with questions about what happened until her father informed her never to speak about the manor. The concept was strange, Percy attempting to get answers, but never receiving them. Ultimately, her father began distracting her with a mixture of school, training and the wonders of traveling. Not long after her 12th birthday was when Percy’s father took her on a mission which gave her plenty of hands on training. They earned money through their dark efforts and willingness to travel around the world to eliminate targets. Gradually, death became a normal feature of Percy’s life and she accepted it willingly; it was family expectation. With more hands on work, became other accustomes that revolved around her father, like the fact he would not accept contracts for anybody below the age of 16; sometimes not accepting in circumstances where the individual contained a childlike attitude. As time proceeded, Percy found that she felt more at home whenever she traveled. This extensive time traveling allowed her to become closer to her father and learn about various cultures around the world. She enjoyed every second of it, finding herself smiling constantly while her and her father traveled. There were many different skills taught during these travels, one of Percy’s favourite being the idea of dancing and singing. Traveling was rough, luxuries rarely being provided and technology being limited, but Percy enjoyed every minute of it. At times, they would camp while on other occasions they would occupy a small hotel for a few days. Sadness remained over the loss of her family, but her father seemed capable of making everything better and comforting the young child. Her father was the primary influence for her personality, making her a practical and serious young woman while also sparking some of her more blunt and abrasive traits. To her, paradise was defined by constant adventure and learning to enjoy what the world provided. Shortly after graduating homeschool at the age of 17, they arrived in the Canadian city of Lorsette where terrors and criminals were common. Her father constantly spoke about how the city may be an excellent place to settle a main homestead due to the increased activity, although, the pair remained skeptical. During their short stay there, Percy found Lorsette oddly enjoyable, even attempting a date with an interested woman while she was there. She enjoyed her time there, but after a while her father and her continued traveling. They arrived in another Newfoundland city, getting prepared to assassinate another individual as expected. Unfortunately, the plans went incredibly array. They arrived on the scene, slinking into the house with a silent ease. Across the wooden floors they crept, finding a freshly lit fire in the fireplace. Although, they were expected, the doors slamming closed and the flames suddenly increasing, consuming the wooden fire. The target was a demon, hiding and prepared for assassins to arrive to murder him. There were numerous targets, the flames rising higher as her and her father struggled through the intense battle. Various burn marks and scars traced her skin from the occasion, the young woman fighting her hardest in an attempt to escape the burning lodge. She was separated from her father at some point, her efforts too fixated on fighting off her assailants. Eventually, she became to battered to rise due to the immense amount of wounds that covered her flesh. The hell species left when the faintest sounds of ambulance and police sirens echoed into her ears. With some effort, Percy managed to remove her weapons, making herself appear like a victim in the affair. She was unconscious before they loaded her into the ambulance, taking her to the hospital where she woke up, recovering from her numerous wounds. Once awake, the girl began questioning where her father was and was later explained how a charred body was found in the remains. It became obvious to Percy that it was father, resulting in her being upset and having an emotional outbreak while in the hospital. When she was fully recovered, it was confirmed that she would be working alone. The young woman felt lost and beaten emotionally, gradually growing cold and distant from others as a result of losing her father. A majority of her money went to paying hospital fees, but despite that she wandered away from the city shortly afterwards. Her memories replayed her father’s words, thus Percy hitch-hiked to Lorsette where she began gathering herself again. The vindictiveness started only moments prior to her arrival, the young nymph becoming determined to gain revenge on the hell species for the death in her family. She trained herself harder, improving her water manipulation to mastery and learning to manipulate holy water. Freelancing was difficult when she possessed a surname that no longer held immense powers in the underground. It resulted in her joining The Dark Brotherhood at the age of 18 despite the leader being a hell species. Over the years, she found herself capable of tolerated the hell species within the group while despising those who remained outside of it. Her loyalties were tight with The Dark Brotherhood, the nymph continuing to serve them as an expert in hell species disposal. After a while, she began noticing the signs of the man who killed her father which placed a portion of her efforts into discovering him. She was determined to enact vengeance by killing the demon herself in the name of her father, thus tying her in Lorsette for years.
