appearance At a height of 6’ it is easy to say that Emmet is on the taller side. His shoulders are a tad broad and he has copious muscles that are for the most part lean. There are a few minor scars from fights with terrors, but these are rather insignificant and have grown old enough or are small to not be easily seen. When it comes to skin complexion, Emmet’s skin is an umbra colour. There is one blemish besides the few scars which is a small, black mole beneath his right eye. Across his head are 9 four-point stars that are coloured black, which is a tattoo given to those of his family. They are usually only visible when Emmet is completely cleaned up and his hair is slicked back. His ears are pierced and he is usually wearing grey studs. Emmet has a mess of dark hair when he does not slick it back. With little grooming or maintenance it is curly and rather unruly. This leaves it to be messy on days where he may merely run a comb through it and be done. His hair is medium length and reaches the nape of his neck in the back. It's more common for Emmet’s hair to be messy when he is not working or attending social gatherings, otherwise it is usually slicked back. When training an apprentice, he usually keeps his hair messier. At times he will use a disguise hex to make it longer, but this is rare. Bright yellow eyes are one of Emmet’s most noticeable traits since their brightness tends to make people notice them. As of clothing, Emmet is known for frequently changing from casual to formal and into his work attire. When he is walking around town, he is dressed casually in hopes of drawing attention away from himself. During home hours, social gatherings and time spent with his relatives (exception of his sister) he usually wears formal attire to keep them pleased. Otherwise he would be in his TRS uniform that has no altercations. It's not uncommon to see him smoking since it is a nasty habit he picked up. personality
abilities Hexes --- Advanced With a majority of hexes, Emmet has excellent control and can do his intentions. Under tired or particularly stressful conditions his hexes may weaken and break at times. He is familiarized with all hex circles and are capable of creating them. Although, naturally drawing them out still takes time and should someone ruin the drawing then it remains dysfunctional. The main downfall with his hexes are particularly his healing hexes which possess a common flaw his family line has. Instead of properly and fully healing the person, they mend the wounds, but can not flush out infections or sickness. This oftentimes leads to meticulous vaccinations. Fire Manipulation --- Intermediate It is not overly common for Emmet to invoke his fire manipulating skills. He is still fairly skilled in the craft, but favours darkness manipulation over it. When tired or under emotional stress, the flames can easily act or not obey his every whim. This can result in attacking allies or, in some cases of extreme emotional distress, can cause the ability to randomly spark. Darkness Manipulation --- Advanced Most of Emmet’s efforts have gone into practicing his darkness manipulation. He is capable of manipulating it fluently and can accomplish a variety of things with his manipulation abilities. The main catch is that anything considered rather extreme with the ability can take a large chunk of energy. Pushing past Emmet’s energy limits can even go lengths to render him unconscious. Creating darkness takes more energy than grabbing it from already existing darkness. This power can have difficulties during daylight hours if Emmet is low on energy. Possession --- Beginner This is something that Emmet rarely uses with the exception for emergency cases. He can not gain full control of a person due to his lack of training, making him limited to perhaps hesitations for the more strong-willed. He is capable of slightly more with those who are weak-willed, but this remains limited and they can still resist this ability. backstory Originally, Emmet was born in Madrid, Spain to a family who prized a noble bloodline dating back to the War of Traitors. Although, among a majority of his family, Emmet’s blood was considered tainted. His mother, Bernadette Halogan had been a young and naive girl when she met Emmet’s biological father who went by Ivan Naulty. Over a four month vacation, Bernadette claims to have fallen in love with Ivan. It caused her parents stress considering they could tell Ivan was not a good man. Around the time the family was supposed to leave, Bernadette fell pregnant with Emmet and insisted on staying with the child’s biological father. Thus, instead of returning to Lorsette, Emmet and his mother remained in Spain. When Emmet was born, his parents seemed lost considering they were both around 18 years of age and had never cared for children. However, they worked hard to care for the child, his mother displaying the most love and affection towards her son. Although, paradise eventually came crashing down when Bernadette found a note from Ivan which admitted to the fact he had numerous affairs with other woman, no longer desired to be involved and her and her son’s life and lastly that he was never returning. It made Emmet’s mother a mixture of angry and heart broken and shortly left Madrid to return to Lorsette. Once Bernadette returned to Lorsette, she was greeted by her family. At first, they looked at Emmet with feigned curiosity due to the child's lack of noble blood. Despite this, Emmet was still taught similar to other children in the family and remained homeschooled. He received the full education which included a more extensive list of topics to teach. Although, his family remained tight-lipped about his father for a long time. The schooling gradual turned into a distraction in hopes the child would never ask Bernadette about his real father. His biological father who was known as the ‘no good lowlife’ an brought shame when mention to his mother. Life became rather strange when Emmet would go out walking with his mother. His mother constantly kept him close to her, especially around any Heaven species she was aware of. She constantly feared for her son’s safety after his father walked out. It was around when Emmet was 9 that he started getting especially curious about his father and begged his mother to tell him. Gradually his mother relented and informed Emmet about his father, explaining the horrible occurrences of after he was born. It caused Emmet to hate his father despite never meeting the mysterious man. Around this age was also when he met Marina, a young girl who shortly developed into his best friend. The pair did everything together and genuinely enjoyed one another’s company. They seemed to know everything about each other, being able to answer questions on the other’s behalf with ease. Between them, things developed as they became older and since the age of 14, Emmet found himself crushing hard on Marina. To Emmet, she was the definition of perfect and the most amazing girl. Alas, being the bashful type in romantic situations made him unable to ask her out for a long time. Though as time went on any compliments Marina gave him caused him to blush, his eyes would linger on her before awkwardly looking away with a red face and at times even conversations transformed into more flustered moments. He was obvious to Marina, the young girl enjoying his adorable flustering. Alas, neither seem ready for dating thus they did not begin dating until they turned 17. They were an incredible couple and oftentimes Emmet would find himself blushing at the comments. Together they completed high school and after a few years the couple married. Although, Marina could not bare children due to medical reasons. Either way, they were incredibly happy together and spent their time in bliss. Years later his mother also remarried, but this time with the approval of her parents. A long time after remarrying, the two had a child together who was a girl they name Rosalynn when Emmet was roughly around 100 years of age. Despite having moves out with Marina for years, Emmet still tried to be involved in his little sister’s life. He wanted to remain close to his family which included his own step-father. For years, Emmet was incredibly happy with his life since he was married to a woman he loved immensely and was close to his family. Everything felt amazing and lasted until the demon turned 108. Marina was always an innocent person, never one to upset those who were on the side of good. Villains were an entirely different story since one night well assisting a close friend on various delivery meeting she suddenly fell ill. At first, nobody expected anything and merely thought she had come down with something. It was a sensible conclusion alongside the thought that Marina would be over it come tomorrow since she was immortal. Alas, the sun set and when morning raised Marina laid motionless in bed, cold and dead. The discovery left Emmet extremely upset to the point where he almost seemed unbalanced and shortly even had difficulties taking care of himself during his mourning. He was required to move back to the manor, his parents decision since their son was an emotional wreck. As time went on developments were made towards the cause of Marina’s death, which was a cruel person capable of causing poisoning doing so when their hand collided with hers. The thought was sensible and only rattled Emmet more as he gradually grew more upset. After a long time, the man put himself back together and decided on a path to at least help people. Being already well aware that he would be incapable of ending another individual’s life, Emmet instead joined the TRS. Years of training in combat back at the manor when he was younger assisted him plenty and his apprentice time was short. It was not long until Emmet became an Elite Hunter and later on managed to become sergeant.
