appearance For a girl, Nyla is tall coming in at a height of 5’9” and bears rather large breasts that she often tries to cover them up. She finds them rather uncomfortable and will oftentimes attempt make adjustments to her clothing to make herself more comfortable; these alterations can be seen on her TRS uniform. Slender is an excellent way to describe the rest of Nyla’s body since she has a flat stomach and slim arms. Her legs possess more muscle than the rest of her body, but they still have a slender appearance. As of skin complexion, this shifter is paler than most and lacks blemishes with the exception of a small scar on her upper right arm. It is barely noticeable and was caused by a minor incident with a terror during her apprenticeship. Otherwise, Nyla rarely gains any blemishes, however, can at times be seen with dirt or a few cuts or bruises on her. This is impart due to her occupation and tomboy attitude. Atop this shifter’s head is a pair of fox ears that match the blonde colour of her hair, although, her ears have white tips. Similar to her ears, Nyla posses a blonde tail that has a similar white tip to it. She rarely hides her tail and a majority of her clothing has been altered to make herself more comfortable. When it comes to her hair, Nyla has long sunflower blonde hair that reaches mid-back when it is not tied up. Rarely, does this girl keep her hair down since it often becomes messy due to her constant roughhousing or tomboy behaviors. This oftentimes leads to the locks in the back being tied up in a ponytail or tight bun to avoid hassle. Some of the front locks are discluded from the binding since Nyla believes it makes her look cuter. Her hair is often held back by a red ribbon in order to subtly incorporate her favourite colour into her appearance. As of eye colour, the lighting plays a part in this since her eyes possess a blue-green colour. This at times leads to debate as to whether her eyes are green or blue, when they are truthfully a mixture. They often possess a bright colour and cheerful gleam that accompanies the grin commonly on Nyla’s oval-shaped face. It is rare for Nyla to look sad or frustration since she oftentimes enjoys smiling and having fun. She will oftentimes wear light makeup, especially enjoys doing work on her eyelashes. This leads to her eyelashes often being thick and long because she enjoys batting them innocently at people. As of clothing, Nyla enjoys anything that she deems as cute or cool. Her wardrobe often consists of shirts of various styles, some of which she received from gaming. She often prefers her stylish shirts that nicely hug her body. Commonly with her pants she prefers skinny legged pants. In the summer she can often been seen wearing short shorts, but she does have a decency to avoid anything that reveals her bottom too much. The only other piece of clothing that she is common to wear is her TRS uniform. Minor alterations had been made to it in order to compensate for her large breast size. Nyla also remade the pants to make the legging a little slimmer than most. Two charmed bracelets are worn on Nyla’s left wrist at all times and disappear when she shifts. These bracelets moderate her temperature and make certain her clothes do not get ruined during transformation. In her red fox form, Nyla’s hair gradually grows darker like the animal’s. when she accomplishes shifting she often has fur that is paler in comparison to a red fox due to her blonde hair. Her underbelly, tail tip and ear tips are coloured in a brisk white. Her paws are black when she transforms. She is stronger and faster in this form, making her lithe on the battlefield. personality Although she may not look the part, Nyla is quite the tomboy and doesn’t mind getting a little dirty. She's rather boyish with her demeanor and tends to be prone to roughhousing since she finds it enjoyable. Her tomboy attitude has only increased a bit more due to working for the TRS since it's almost mandatory for Nyla to get her hands dirty. Most people notice instantly that Nyla loves to be around people and generally talk to others. She considers herself a professional in the art of conversation, but that's false since she tends to ramble and get a little loud. Fortunately she does have one conversational based trait working well for her. Nyla is very good at reading what others want and can often persuade them into various activities for her or joining her on a fun adventure. She does tend to have a habit of speaking sarcastically and stating her opinions no matter the circumstances. This energetic girl absolutely adores adventuring and learning new things, making her brave enough to try new things. She especially loves meeting new people so long as they’re not mean and dangerous. When it comes to those on good terms, Nyla is often highly loyal and protective of them. This is especially apparent with her little sister, Ines, who she protects with fierce loyalty. She's brave when it comes to protecting those she cares about and is willing to sacrifice her own well-being. She’ll act recklessly and sometimes do rather careless acts to keep her loved ones safe, especially Ines. However, she would prefer not to since Nyla feels that her little sister needs her. It's easy to tell how close knit Nyla is with her sister since she usually rude to most people, but her sister is spared of her rude words. She adores her little sister to the point that Nyla considers her one of the very few lights in her life. Nyla has a tendency to believe that she’s correct and her strong-will often causes her to go along with her plan. Her motivation to meddle doesn’t help at all with this trait because she feels she knows best. When plans go wrong, Nyla does take full responsibility and will not deny being incorrect in her judgement. Constantly she makes sure her works get done and that Ines is well cared for since she’s cared for her sister around when she was a mere 12 years of age. Generally, Nyla is very honest and values honesty as trait among others. Deceit is simply found to be unnecessary to her and she’ll often find herself hating those who try to use it. Some other good things to note about Nyla is that she’s both ambitious and competitive. When there is a goal to get to, she will most definitely work towards it and attempt to beat any competition that comes in her way. Her competitive attitude is mostly seen when she is playing video games with friends. She simply enjoys winning alongside an awesome challenge to keep her entertained for a few hours. Most people find out extremely quickly that Nyla is a pretty intelligent individual; her marks were often very high in school. She finds that most subjects are easy and can often learn new skills very quickly. Lastly, she’s very creative since from a young age she has enjoyed various forms of art. Drawing, painting, music, she absolutely adores all of it and can often pick out many features from the pieces and understand their meanings at a fast pace. abilities Red Fox Shift -- Offensive -- Advanced Nyla is capable of shifting into a large red fox, however, she can manipulate the size of which her animal form is through focus. Like most shifters, when Nyla shifts it does take time and during her shift she is vulnerable to attacks. When she does shift, her speed and strength is boosted significantly and often remains to its peak, but this only works while shifted. In both her human and animal form, she is sensitive to incredibly loud noises and smells due to what she can shift into. When severely injured, she will shift back into her human form. Minor Healing Factor -- Natural Nyla's wounds can heal in mere hours, allowing her to quickly recover from injuries. Moderate wounds can take an hour or two, severity depending on how quickly she can heal. Minor ones will heal very quickly, being completely healed in a few minutes. Meanwhile, severe wounds can take longer on account of how much she needs to heal. Should there be a lot to heal, Nyla will pass out into a comatose-like state until she dies or heals completely. backstory British Columbia, Canada was where Nyla was originally born to her rather young mother at the time. Her mother was a mere 19 when she was pregnant then 20 when she gave birth to her daughter. Thankfully, Nyla's father was a good man and assisted with the infant whenever he could. The young couple reacted like any young couple taking care of an infant would and often acted a tad over-protective of their child. From a young age, Nyla was brought up around art since both her parents were very artistically centered. Their jobs were artsy, their home and even some of their relatives loved art. Thus from when she was young, Nyla found herself loving the world of art. Music, painting, writing, drawing and whatever else were all activities she grew to appreciate and adore. School was breeze for Nyla due to her intellect and she passed her courses 90s as well as excelled even in the word of sports. She played hockey, soccer, baseball and lacrosse during her first few years of school. As expected though, her true passion was both art and music which made her a frequent visitor to any events involving those topics. She had a small circle of friends that consisted of nerds which generally made her happy. When Nyla was 6 her younger sister, Ines, was born. Nyla did her best to behave around that time, but things got difficult when she got mixed up with popular people. Most of her nerdy friends had moved or switched schools which had granted her acceptance into the popular clique. It was easy to say Nyla did not like being involved with them. Their chatter never consisted of video games and often only entitled gossip alongside the talk of parties. Alas, these were the only people to allow her in, which was probably mostly due to her cute appearance at the time. It was when Nyla was 11 that her sister had gotten lost and when they found her, Nyla was so happy. She remembered how she hugged her and insisted that the young girl never go missing again. Alas, her little sister’s behavior had changed and it was not realized that Ines was bitten until it was too late. At some point, her little sister had bitten somebody and transformed into a vampire, which was a radical change. Alas, Nyla was never bothered by the idea. Ines was still her little sister and Nyla was determined to love her and support her. It was New Years and her parents were going to attend a party. Naturally, Nyla was up late waiting for midnight and the return of her parents who stated they would not be long so they could spend some time with her and Ines. The young shifter was only 12 at the time, and was enjoying the chance to spend the night staying up late, it was a dream for all young children after all. The last thing Nyla expected was a knock at the door and a police officer standing there. Her parents would not be coming home since they died in a terror attack. At that moment it felt like Nyla's world shattered, but the girl did her best to keep herself together. She had a little sister to take care of which led to one of the most difficult things Nyla had to do. She had to tell Ines that their parents were not coming home ever again. One of her grandparents came to help out. The funeral was difficult for Nyla to attend, the people who had been in her life for 12 years were gone. She was told that she would be moving across the country with her sister to live with their uncle. Arriving in Lorsette suggested good hopes and Nyla tried her best to be optimistic. Yet, her lazy uncle shattered her hopes instantly. The guy and his wife practically never cared for Ines to the point where Nyla was raising her alone. She didn't even trust them to watch Ines for an hour or any babysitter they may choose. Nyla's social life became small and often only occurred at school since at the age of 15 she got a part time waitress job, which was something she had to get to help her and Ines get by. She became known as the "workaholic" of the school since she always used work as an excuse to not attend parties or other outings. She constantly kept Ines around her, protecting her sister was necessary. As time progressed, Nyla began hiring babysitters to watch Ines who she trusted with her sister. Being on the finishing point of grade twelve while she was 17 had caused her to make a crucial decision so nobody would feel the way she did when her parents died. Nyla convinced her uncle to sign the permission papers and in a few days she was transferred to the Terror Response Syndicate training center to become a hunter. She trained a lot, working to make herself fit and studying for hours to assure that she would pass the class with flying colours. When she graduated from her regular high school studies was when Nyla received her mentor. The man was a nice fellow and her senior who trained her well and taught her how to improve her combat skills. Eventually, the innocent young girl became a terror destroying machine with a hard working attitude. As time went on, Nyla became stronger and began saving the money she earned from hunting towards buying an apartment for her and Ines to live in.
