Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,
The Staff

Summer 2022
Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
With April, an activity check has arrived for members to do! Please post on the AC and tag all your accounts, including WIPs and OOC accounts. Failure to post on this AC will result in your accounts being marked inactive or deleted. Please note, due to a late start, the due date for this check has been adjusted for one time and one time only.
It was a fantastic day to be out, and Cali took full advantage. Her hands were still sore and bandaged, and it hurt to hold shopping bags. Her shopping addiction had successfully been warded off by her injury, and despite her desperation to buy things she didn't need, she managed to stay bag-free.
The sun was starting to get uncomfortably hot, and the more she wandered, the less she began to recognise things. Had she already passed this boutique shop? She didn't remember. What street did she turn down to even get here? Japan was comfortable in it's cramped streets and fairly centralised locations, but Canada was a whole new game. It was sprawling shops and massive crowds, and Cali couldn't help but feel a little out of her element here.
She ducked into a shop to fake browse to regain her bearings, and she struggled to think back to the map she had looked at when she was at home. She had forgotten her phone again, and she was going in blind here. She remembered the shop had been close to the street she ought to turn down to go back home, but by now the name and location of it had completely left her mind.
All she remembered is that it was green on the outside of the building. She wandered towards the door, intent to fake-browse while trying to peer out the windows to gauge her surroundings. It was going to be a long day if she got this lost and couldn't even find her way back home. She really ought to think about investing in a GPS of some sort, given the amount of times she got lost on a daily basis.
Poking out of the shop, she reluctantly ambled towards a random direction. At this rate, she decided she had no choice but to latch onto someone and ask for directions. The last time she had done that, it had not gone as well as she hoped. Hopefully this time she wouldn't get thrown into a gunfight for getting lost.
Marching her way up to the next person who looked somewhat her age, she peered up at them hopefully. "Do you... Are you familiar with this place? I'm lost. Like, super lost. And I have no idea how to get to this shop or even get home." She held out the coupon flier that was clutched in her hand, hoping that she would at least get some general direction support.
[attr="class","cc_text"] Leith was an avid window-shopper, enjoying the fun that came with peaking at what the stores had on display. From various boutiques full of cute or mature clothing to miscellaneous goods being shown through glass windows. There was also a bookstore that Leith was a frequent customer of. The shopping district was always fun for them to walk through and it had become apart of their normal schedule to take a leisurely stroll. [break][break] Personally... for the banshee, they loved a good splurging if they managed to find something that caught their eye. A bell had rang out and signaled their departure from the shop they just exited. They now had a small bag with a few hair accessories they couldn't resist getting for themself. Leith already had been out shopping for sometime judging by the two other bags they had hanging off their arm. [break][break] They paused on the outside of the shop, taking a few steps towards to the side to remain outside of the way of avid shoppers who were hoping to enter. Leith eyes glanced down to the bags on their arms as they began to go over where they needed to stop by next. There was enough splurging on their end today... all that was left was to finally get the mandatory items they needed restock on.[break][break] After making the confirmation of the fact they had intended on continuing onwards until a lovely lady made an approach. "Mmm...?" Leith heads tilt to the side as the coupon ticket in her hand caught their eye. "Not even your way home...? Oh dear..." They couldn't help but feel concern for the female before them.[break][break] "How about this... I can take you to the shop and assist you with finding your way out of here." Their head nods softly at the idea. They only had one more place to stop by and it was nearby the place the female had be aiming to go. "I'm heading in that overall direction so I don't mind assisting you!"[break][break]@calliope
