Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,
The Staff

Summer 2024
Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
Since the wonderful members of TDOM enjoy the site enough to play around on it, this thread is to assist with the site's tidying! Functionality is important and we want to make the site functional even if its activity will be minimal at best!

Unfortunate Circumstances
Renée limped through the doors of the hospital, while not horrifically injured, the hospital was the closest place she could receive medical attention. She’d been injured while in the field. What had started as a simple nuisance had quickly become a significant problem. Her arms were covered in slashes and her entire body was forming what looked to be one giant bruise. The eyepatch Rey normally wore had been lost sometime during the fight and her uniform was nearly shredded. Despite her appearance, this was a minor inconvenience to her, or so she kept telling herself.
She barely made it to the check in desk before her vision began to blur. The walk from the forest had been long and a trail of red followed behind her as she went. It had been a nice day, as nice as it could be in Winter. There was little wind and the snowfall had stopped for a few hours before coming back with light flakes. If only the day had finished the way it’d started; unfortunately, that was not the case.
She forced herself to stay on her feet, gripping the desk so hard her knuckles turned white. If she’d had the strength back in the forest she would’ve cauterized the wounds, but sadly, nothing was going her way that day. It only took a few moments before her strength faded entirely and she stumbled back. Spots appeared before her eyes and she wobbled on her feet for a moment before collapsing backwards into the chest of the person behind her. She had a split second of clarity before losing consciousness and drifting off somewhere peaceful.
Today was a long day for Bellamy, mainly because he had Hospital duty. He much preferred the TRS Medical Wing, much more manageable, and less Doctors questioning him. He was weaving back and forth through the huge hospital. They wanted a Magic user, but they got him a man who could not even use magic. Though he did love showing those Doctors their place in the world. His shift was supposed to be over 4 hours ago, and the TRS probably needed him. Though these civilians needed his help, that and he loved showing Doctors up with his superior medical knowledge. The 27 year old sighed, as he looked at. He walked to the reception area, he saw a girl she was definitely TRS, being able to survive bruises like that. Ok he walked up behind her to get a closer look, he had to if he was going to treat her. To bad she fell into his chest, damn-it she had fainted. "HEY NURSE PREPARE AN HOSPITAL ROOM NOW!" he yelled this was no longer smarmy jerk Bellamy, he was now a TRS Medic. Bellamy then would scoop the young lady up into his arms. "Hey Little Lady, please try to stay awake I cant treat you if I don't know what happened" He said while he briskly jogged, he needed to get to a hospital room immediately.

Unfortunate Circumstances
In her state of half consciousness, Ren heard someone shouting. She couldn’t discern what he was saying at first, but she felt herself being lifted in someone’s arms. His voice broke through the fog in her mind once more, clearer this time. She mumbled an incoherent response and fought to keep her eyes open. Looking up into the eyes of the man carrying her, she tried to smile. It looked more like a grimace and she gave up. Being jolted about as the man ran through the halls was painful and she whimpered every time she bounced in his arms.
Her head flew back, tearing at the cuts on her chest. Renée let out a sharp cry of pain and blacked out once more before coming around again. She had no idea where he was taking her, but she prayed the journey would end soon. The raven haired girl pressed a hand to her saviour’s chest and balled it into a fist around his shirt like she was holding on for dear life.
