appearance the first thing people notice about her are her eyes. or so she likes to think. they are hazel/grey but depending on the light or her mood they can change from her normal grey to an orange amber color. she stands around five feet and seven inches. her orange locks hang around the middle of her back. depending on the situation she will usually leave her hair untied. though on occasion has been known to tie it back or braid it. she really has no set style. she can be rather feminine and dress in cute patterns, skirts and tops. honestly she doesn't wear pants unless she has to. she likes colors and patterns. she's uncertain she has anything dark in her wardrobe, well perhaps her shoes. one day she could be wearing short heels, flats or some cute sneakers it all depends on her outfit of the day. she has a fair complexion and wears minimal makeup. she's constantly changing her nail color. on her face she sticks to the natural look so light eye shadows,liner and a simple lip gloss. if she's in a rush as long as she has some lip balm she's golden. her ear's are pierced and she prefers studs over dangling earrings. when she's in her animal form, she looks just like regular ordinary orange and white speckled tabby. though on occasion her light grey wings might poke out. personality
abilities healing - intermediate | she isn't able to bring anyone back from the dead. at her current ability she still needs more training before she can even heal someone that is near dying. she can heal severed limbs, arms, hands, legs, etc. those take some time and she's exhausted by the end of it. minor cuts, bruises and the like are no problem to her. she can heal herself, others and even animals. she can not heal plants. for the most part she heals with her hands. she can hover over an area or have direct contact with the wound. those that have been healed by her say it feels warm and a soft blue light radiates from her hands. counter spells - beginner | honestly she focused more on her shields as her first line of defense. if she's lucky she can deflect spells back to their user. it's more of a fifty/fifty chance it will work. shield creation - advanced | she is able to create shield not only for herself but for others. the amount of energy she spends is greater if the shield covers a large area. while she can cast shields for other they can not manipulate it themselves. they must remain behind the shield or they risk not being protected. she can cast multiple shields but once they are broken it will take some time for them to recharge. the smaller the shield the less time it takes to "throw" them up. apart from creating a standard shield she is also able to shape the shields for example to make herself temporary armor. which can consist of arm guards, chest plate, leg guards and sometimes even a helmet. she doesn't use it that often as it does take a lot of her to maintain it and not have it break with one hit. her shields are not completely transparent. they have a glimmer to them at certain angles. if they are hit once they become more visible. the smaller the shield the less hits it takes to break it down. if at any point she becomes unconscious whatever remaining shields are up will only stay up for thirty seconds or less. cat abilities - intermediate | she is able to take shape of cat an orange tabby to be precise. of course she uses her size to her advantage. sneaking in and out of places. most don't think much of a cat. besides having the appearance she also has several traits, even when she's in her human form. enhanced balance, night vision, enhanced stealth, sense of smell and her hearing are like those of a cat. wing manifestation - advanced | even in her human form she is able to summon her wings. it does take few seconds as she also has to change the size of her wings to be able to lift her human body. while she's in cat form her wings are small, suitable for a small cat. she can fly in this form as well, but not often. backstory nothing is worse than feeling the odd one out. perhaps being the odd one out of the family is close enough. of course it wasn't always like this. you could thank her mother for the way she managed to warp their sense of self. though in the beginning there were happy times. she was spoiled, but not with material items. with affection and love. she was perfect in her mothers eyes. she was too young to know the concept of status. though her mother seemed to always steer her away from her older brother. she always sought him out. she was curious as to why she couldn't be alone in a room with him. mother was always by her side, until she wasn't. as she grew older her mother started to drift away from her. she wasn't exactly sure why. how did she fail once more? was her blood not potent enough? sure elysia had wings, but she could also had the ability to turn into a cat. she spent more time with her brother as her mother slowly turned her attention else where. she still remembers the day her father told them she had left. how foolish she had been to believe that one day she would come back. for a year she waited. she tried not to make it obvious and keep her tears to herself. eventually she gave up. always in the back of her mind, did her mother ever love them? she knew her father did. after mother left money was a bit tight, not that they had much to begin with. they had enough and their father was always on top of things. she saw how hard he worked. then there was desmond. he picked the worse time to start trouble. she kept herself busy and out of trouble. what was a girl to do? she cooked and cleaned, not because she was forced to do it, but because she wanted to help out. sure her meals were mostly mac and cheese, but eventually she learned to make other things. the busier she was the less time she had to worry about other things. she didn't understand why he was acting out. she would hear the phones calls and her father's sighs. she would scold him, but always offer to patch him up. she didn't like seeing her brother hurt. no matter how much of a knucklehead he could be. elysia kept all her problems to herself. it was mostly the girls that would tease her. over silly things, her hair or her clothes. not having all the things ever other girl had. she didn't care about material things. even so things started to get a bit out of hand especially when a boy got involved. middle school was something rough. she was thrown into a love triangle. rumors were started and they spread like wild fire, but who was there to shut things down?
