appearance Leaning more towards the thinner side, Harrison is a bit lankier than average. Displaying his true height, Harrison reaches an opposing 10’6” which allows him to tower over others, although, with the use of a charm this height is not displayed. Using his size shifting, Harrison had made himself shorter to appear average among the general populace since his size would make his species more obvious. As a result, Harrison has shrunk himself down to appear about 5’6” tall making him shorter than average; to maintain this he wears a charm in the form of a necklace beneath his shirt. Muscle wise, Harrison appears to be lacking since he relies on his enhanced strength in these situations. His slender frame is maintained through work and more casual exercise, sometimes consisting of taking a light jog should he feel like it. Harrison possesses a fair skin possession that mostly lacks blemishes with the exception of the occasional small scar as a result of his occupation. Notably, his hands always appear to be well taken care of and pampered with scars never touching the knuckles unlike most warriors who participate in close-combat. With wild blue hair, it is pretty easy to recognize Harrison from the rest of the crowd. He rarely fusses with his hair, resulting in windswept and oftentimes messy appearance. When it comes to clothing, it is easy to state that Harrison enjoys being unique by wearing a superhero type articles frequently. He enjoys mostly wearing a red mask that outlines his eyes, the ends trailing down behind him. On some occasions, he may wear a red cape to match the mask he oftentimes wears. Sweaters and coats are a favourite for Harrison, especially when they are leaning towards the larger side. He oftentimes gets these in blue to create a colour palette of blue and red; this commonly occurs when he is feeling heroic. He is also prone to wearing black t-shirts and long sleeves. On rare occasion, he will extend out to trying other colour mixtures should he desire. A majority of the time, Harrison does wear contact lenses, but on some occasion he will switch back to his glasses. abilities Enhanced Strength -- Advanced The numerous uses for enhancing strength led to Harrison’s interest within the skill, especially considering his occupation. This ability allows for him to access intense levels of strengths beyond an average human, allowing him to push and lift cars with ease and even break through buildings. He is capable of delivering intense physical bones, resulting in the possibility of his opponents getting broken bones as a result. Although, other individuals with enhanced strength or strength beyond that do have the possibility of overpowering him, oftentimes meaning that Harrison must remain cautious. There is also an immense of effort placed onto Harrison’s muscles during these moments, thus overusing the ability can result in soreness or pulled muscles. Should this be taken too far, there is a chance that Harrison could become bedridden or injure his muscles should something go awry. Dream Manipulation -- Mastered An ability that allows for the user to create, shape and enter dreams, ultimately manipulating them to the user’s desires. This allows to user to create nightmares for the victim, allow for lucid dreaming or create spiritual/emotional healing. Due to his mastery, Harrison has a large area to play with when it arrives at manipulating dreams. He is capable at manipulating his dreams alongside the dream’s of others, even granting people the ability to join him within his realm of dreams. Ultimately, dream manipulation allows Harrison to create a world where he manipulates the factors, even allowing for him to fly within his dreams. There are two modes for Harrison’s dream manipulation, creation and offensive which are unable to coincide with one another. Creation is solely manipulating and shaping, this stage being safe for anybody involved in the dream and forbidding the possibility of damages taken within the dream from transferring over to the real world. He can alter reality, generating fearful hellscapes or creating magnificent and imaginative worlds. Offensive mode completely limits the manipulation aspect, leaving the individuals in a lucid state during the dream. Neither has access to their abilities and the environment in the dreamscape is difficult to manipulate, and very limited. Everybody, including Harrison limited to their own capabilities. During offensive mode, Harrison can be damaged just as those dragged into the dream itself. These injuries do not transfer over until the dream sequence is broken, making it impossible for outside sources to remain aware of the damages until afterwards. Offensive mode is essentially a trap in some respects, but specifically for Harrison. Unless Harrison breaks the dream and frees all participants, outside sources are incapable of waking him while those trapped within his realm can only be woken by outside sources; ths exception being other powerful dream manipulators. Once the participant starts waking up, they are automatically taken out of Harrison’s realm, making them immune to attacks. Items each user is touching can be transferred over, allowing for weaponized combat; the items can break. In its entirety, dream manipulation has more weaknesses in addition. First, while Harrison can manipulate dreams and prolong sleep, he is unable to induce it. This means those who do not sleep or are awake are immune to his dream manipulating abilities. Those with immunity to dream manipulation or psychic abilities are untouchable for Harrison, making it difficult. Magically charmed dreamcatchers can also make Harrison unable to access a person’s dreams, ultimately protecting the other individual. Furthermore, during these moments Harrison is completely unconscious and susceptible to attack. The transfer between creation and offensive mode takes 30 seconds and Harrison is the only vulnerable participant during these moments. He can only connect to other people’s dreams who are within the 2 mile radius of him. Size Shifting -- Intermediate There was always a strange different between Harrison and his mother on how exactly size shifting should be utilized. Instead of using size shifting for its infamous offensive motives, Harrison shrinks himself down to be shorter than his massive 10’6” height to a more reserved 5’6”. He lacks the willingness to make himself immensely tall and reach a two story statute, thus his abilities remain limited. He prefers using this ability for an to appeal to others rather than the capabilities it could possess. This has resulted in him being more skillful in shrinking himself down than making himself larger. Naturals: Enhanced Endurance backstory There was always a sense of pride within the Acaster family which was obvious from the young pair who Harrison would refer to as his parents. His giant ancestors came from his mother side who were renowned for being prominent noble figures throughout the medieval era. They embraced their size, flaunting the characteristic that a majority recognized for giants, although, they were dependent on servants. Those who would serve them arrived in waves, carrying for every whim when it came to his mother’s side. Prideful, but self-indulgent was the proper description of the Meriote family who his mother, Joanna, grew up in. Then, there was the boy’s father, an incredibly heroic hunter with a charismatic charm alongside awe-inspiring fighting ability that impressed superiors. The Acaster side of the family were rightfully proud with their achievements and held an ambitious and hard-working attitude that would put any determined worker. The father went by Abraham who was a mere angel, and during a mission, he saved and later fell in love with Joanna who he later married. Roughly two years into their marriage was when Joanna fell pregnant and gave birth to their twin sons, Harrison and Lambert. The twins were surprisingly opposite, with Harrison having blue hair and eyes while Lambert had red hair and eyes. At a young age, Harrison always found the radical differences between the families to be peculiar. Constantly, the parents on his mother’s side would shower him in compliments and insist in being prideful solely because the child was a giant. They would give him things on a silver platter solely for the reason of making certain the child was aware that being a giant was a marvelous thing. These strange acts of appraisal and constant indulging always resulted in Harrison finding it difficult to enjoy the company of his mother, especially after witnessing the strenuous endeavors on his father’s side. When it came to Abraham’s side of the family, they insisted that everything must be earned through work and effort. Indulging was occasion, oftentimes happening spontaneously when his grandparents or father felt the child needed some enjoyment. A majority of the time, treats and gifts were earned by doing small jobs with the exception of special occasions like birthdays or Christmas. While the child never felt particularly prideful of the accomplishments he did, putting effort into earning something resulted in a pleasant feeling. On his father’s side, most items felt deserved which made Harrison oddly favor them opposed to his indulgent mother’s side. Although, Harrison remained unknown to the villainy on the Acaster side. They were Assembly soldiers who painted themselves as heroes in the young boy’s eyes from a young, vulnerable age. Within the Acaster side of the family, Zeredah’s words were a precious Gospel. Whenever his mother was out of the house, Abraham would teach his son the wonders of Zeredah’s utopia. It was important that the young boy learned, and Harrison hung on every word. In his eyes, his father was a superhero bringing forth the new order, the boy’s natural closeness making it easier to accept. The stories would fill Harrison’s world, making him constantly desire to follow in the footsteps of his cherished father. It was simple, Abraham was the true hero standing against the injustices of the Terror Response Syndicate. Abraham was a god to Harrison, and he worshipped him every day. This resulted in the young boy attempting to avoid his mother, finding her profound requirement to display pride ridiculous. There was a wedge between himself and Joanna since Harrison found it difficult to enjoy being a giant. Due to his species, a majority of the school kids were intimidated by his intense height, making Harrison cling to his twin. While his closeness with Lambert increased, Harrison found himself despising his species alongside the regular world. A majority of his classmates hailed the Terror Response Syndicate, claiming them to be the heroes and defying the tales that coloured Harrison’s childhood. Each story his teachers told alongside the spoken words on the playground bothered the young boy who saw other views. Shortly afterward, Harrison began avoiding his mother more while begging his father to homeschool him, to which he disagreed. It left him trapped within a class where his classmates constantly feared his intimidating size and made him uncomfortable with their beliefs. The Assembly of Phantoms were the heroes, it was obvious to the boy. The TRS were merely the villains who opposed the righteous words of Zeredah, disobeying her wonderous command. By the age of 7, Harrison’s beliefs resulted in him requesting his father if he could join the Assembly. There was a wide grin on Abraham’s face as he agreed, teaching his son the basics of combat and Assembly life before allowing for an official joining. While the man remained overzealous at his son’s decision, Abraham still held a protectiveness over his young boy. There was happiness found in those days as Harrison was taught numerous skills from his adept father. An attachment was made towards his father as the young boy say him as a role model. Meanwhile, a hatred was maintained for his mother’s self-important attitude, resulting in Harrison avoiding the woman more as days drifted by. The task was difficult considering Joanna constant doting and meticulous requirement to remain updated on Harrison’s height. There was always a satisfaction in her eyes whenever the child grew even a mere inch while the younger giant flinched every time his mother announced it. Pride would touch her voice, a countenance of approval across her face, but her eyes were blind to the emotions of her Harrison. She remained blind to his fretting, the constant concerns about growing too tall and scaring away any possible friends. Height was something fearsome, making him an incredible intimidating individual and resulting in people leaving him. There were inquiries towards the concept of extreme tallness being a positive trait, and each occasion, Harrison found it to be the trait he hated most about his body. As time progressed, the boy began researching things that could possibly stunt his growth in hopes of being successful, even believing the common myths like coffee being capable of the desired outcome. Shortness, it was a requirement since living up to his mother’s standards was ridiculous to the young boy. As time progressed, Harrison found himself still remaining a loner during a majority of his middle school years despite his social disposition. With his research on stunting growth appearing useless, Harrison could not discover a way out until his early high school years. Due to his dislike of being a giant, Harrison had never ventured into his abilities much. He had remained unaware of their usage until he researched his species, discovering that his size shifting could also be used for an opposite effect. The concept resulted in Harrison practicing, even going lengths to dabble into his other powers. They remained imperfect during his younger years, the boy taking extensive amounts of time to train them. By the age of 15, the young giant found himself becoming capable in his abilities, although, still need to sharpen his skills. The newfound capability allowed for the ultimate change, the giant shrinking himself and displaying an shorter body form. When he went to school, his classmates were stunned from the sudden height change alongside the sudden increase in social confidence from Harrison; shortness meant no more intimidation. Gradually, the boy found himself integrating into the various social groups, earning him a new sense of happiness during his highschool years. Unfortunately, Joanna discovered her son’s need for shortness and immediately scolded him about it. Instead of merely taking the scolding, Harrison rebuked, stating his immense dislike of the species. The pair argued for several minutes, their relationship being completely torn apart as the petty argument escalated. Their contrasting opinions clashed, making them both unable to tolerate each other. Words were thrown towards Joanna, Harrison stating she was too prideful and unsupportive of his desires while Joanna insisted that Harrison was self-conscious and unable to accept the wonderful gift of a prestigious height. The argument left Harrison bitter, the young teen deciding to maintain his shortness even around the house to get revenge towards Joanna. After a few days, he purchased a charm that he could wear around his wrist to assist in keeping his shorter stature. The wedge continued, the two eventually ignoring each other as Harrison remained in his room and his mother would constantly speak with her relatives. They lacked care towards one another, both being unable to accept the other’s opinion. Only a mere year after the extreme argument between his mother did Harrison discover the harsh claws of loss. During the evening of a pleasant weekend did a knock arrive at their door, which generated curiosity. The mother and twins were called into the living room where the guests had been invited. Slowly, Harrison had descended the stairs, freezing when he noticed the colours of the TRS hunting division uniforms. There was a hesitancy as the boy approached, concerns about the people arriving to interrogate his father or himself were made. Delusions towards the possibility of being imprisoned within their dungeon was considered. A solemn tone remained heavy within the living room as the group awaited the arrival of the house. Gentleness touched their tones, the information they provided rattling Harrison to the bones; they admitted it to the entire family. Abraham Acaster was killed by the TRS for resisting arrest and assisting the Assembly in an attack against one of the patrols. The single parental figure that Harrison had admired for years was gone; the only person who understood his plight. Immediately, the young giant had left the room, unable to remain within the situation. His father was dead for sacrificing to his heroic cause, the murderous TRS agents executing him like the villains they were. After the slaughter of his father, Harrison became distance from Joanna’s side of the family and instead secretly fraternized with Abraham’s side. They would exchange words for hours despite his mother’s insistence to disconnect from his father’s side entirely. Leaving the relatives of his father was impossible for Harrison since in boy’s eyes, they were the only ones who truly understood him. Abraham’s side of the family were the divine heroes who taught him the numerous skills he knew while Joanna’s side was filled with ignorant, self-important idiots. While he remained within his mother’s care, Harrison began exercising his dream manipulating skills to the extreme. Dreams became the only location where he could be around his deceased father which sparked an affinity for sleeping. A majority of Harrison’s spare time began getting devoted to dreaming as the young boy found himself able to remain lucid within his dreams. In his dream world, he created incredible fantasies and adventures that allowed for him to smile and assisted in his mourning. At times, he would use the ability to train himself in hopes his mother would never attempt to wake him. At the age of 17, Harrison graduated from high school, receiving an average diploma. There was a small celebration with Harrison’s family, the young boy avoiding it despite his socialness. While Joanna had ceased her lecturing about tallness after Abraham’s death, the young boy still found himself avoiding her entirely. After a few days of recuperating from graduation, Harrison abruptly quit his minimum wage job, leaving with claims of finding something better. A majority turned a blind eye, being unaware of the terrifying truth of the situation. With high school completed and distractions limited, Harrison joined the Assembly of Phantoms to become a full-fledged soldier. Once admitted into the group, he ran away from his home, departing with Abraham’s side of the family and moving to the city of Lorsette. Training passed by quickly, Harrison developing his dream manipulation and finding himself happy within the group. At least with the Assembly of Phantoms, he could continue his father’s work; his personal idol. Not long after joining did a boy capture his interest which left Harrison constantly interacting with him. They gradually became friends and Harrison shortly found himself developing a crush on the adorable individual.
