Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,
The Staff

Summer 2022
Heat has broken through into a glorious summer. The snow has entirely dried through the spring, leaving to the brilliance of the warmer months. Terror activity has risen as people are brought out of their homes, leaving the TRS in a position of consistent work. Each are attempting to maintain victory in the endless struggle for power.
With April, an activity check has arrived for members to do! Please post on the AC and tag all your accounts, including WIPs and OOC accounts. Failure to post on this AC will result in your accounts being marked inactive or deleted. Please note, due to a late start, the due date for this check has been adjusted for one time and one time only.
There was still some time left before the event he signed up for would begin. To which the purple-haired Nymph took his time with tending to the plants. He spoke softly to them as he used his own abilities to make them flourish and grow. Aristole was perfectly at ease in the wilderness that he called home. The Terrors that probably lurked in the daunting wilderness did not faze him as much as he felt confident enough to get to safety with the help of how he could manipulate plants. He stood from what he had been doing and moved on, heading towards a stream that had caught his eye a few days prior.
Once there he looked around before he knelt down beside the cool water and smooth pebbles, his fingers running over the stones before he pushed some aside so he could push his fingers into the moist soil. "This seems like a perfect place for you to grow. Right by some cool water with just the right amount of sunlight and shade." He spoke gently, pulling his hands back to pull out a small pouch from his pocket. He opened it up and poured a couple of seeds into the palm of his hand before he closed it again and put it back where he had gotten it from. He took his time making sure the seeds were healthy before he took to burying them into the spot he had cleared.
"Welcome to your new home, little ones. Here you'll be able to flourish in ease and won't have to worry about anything harming you." He went on, using his Plant Manipulation to get the seeds to sprout and grow for the time being. It took a few minutes but the sprouts eventually broke through the soil and rose up almost like a camera speeding up the process that could be seen in documentaries. A couple more minutes passed and he eventually pulled his hands back from the flowers the swayed gently in the breeze that picked up and had a rather unique coloration to their petals. The coloration itself had different shades of blue in the petals, which he figured was rather pretty to look at. "Now, why don't I plant you some more friends, hm? That way you all can thrive at this stream together." He spoke up, reaching down to clear some more space so he could plant some more seeds.

arret finds himself in the Wilderness again, another one of his old explorations where he does not have anything else to do. The trees are abundant, the grass filled with dew... and he finds it funny how a tiny little spark would burn it all. He thinks back on the city he left for a short while, and remembers the smell of smoke entering his nose, gasoline pouring from all directions and igniting the flames that turn everything he touches into ashes.
However, he does not think about burning things for now. That would have to wait. The Wilderness is a fit place to relax and he plans on doing just that for the few hours. He walks with no particular direction, hands in his pockets, the path in front of him narrowing and thinning the more he strides forward. All is peace and quiet, save for the sounds of grass crunching beneath his feet and the flowing sound of-
Now, in front of him, is a stream, clear as glass swift in movement. He looks down and sees his reflection, and while the image is quite distorted because of the water's movement, he still manages to catch the purple of his hair, his dull blue eyes that still seem to shine with a passion. Garret smiles and sits down, now planning on staying by the stream for a while.
It takes him a turn of his head to realize he is not alone.
A few distances away he could see a man, and while he could not make out his figure, he sees light purple hair that seems to glitter in the sunlight like lilacs in a small garden. He seems to be talking, to himself, might be. But he keeps looking on and notices a few plants that seem to grow in acceleration; Garret realizes that this young man might have been a cause to that. And as someone who finds a mild fascination in plants himself... he'd like to see what this stranger is growing.
Garret stands up and approaches him, stopping a few meters away from him in case he reacts. "Hello," He begins, head tilted and eyes still not leaving the plants. "I'm curious, whatever are you growing?" He asks, pointing at the flowers in bloom.

Hello again! I am so very sorry for the late response!
The Nymph turned his head as he pulled his hands away from the soil where he had just recently planted some more seeds upon hearing the voice of a stranger. He made no move to rise from where he knelt, his eyes scanning over the stranger as he tilted his head to the side slightly before a smile crossed his face. He turned his attention over to the flowers and reached a hand out to gently brush a finger against a petal. "I am growing some flowers that will be unique in their own way. They were originally tulips but I changed the genetic makeup of them to create something new." He explained, pulling his hand away and used that movement to stand up.
He kept his gaze lowered towards the ground as he gently brushed dirt off of his clothing before he raised his gaze to look at the man. "Might I have your name? My name is Aristole." He spoke up, lightly holding his hands in front of himself as he offered the man a friendly smile once more. "I don't often get visitors, though I suppose that is my own fault for choosing to live here." He spoke up casually, though at the same time to implement the fact that he did live in the wilderness around all of these plants. "If I may ask... What brings you all the way out here?" He questioned him curiously, though he also wasn't trying to be nosy as well. If anything there had to be some sort of reason to come all the way out into the wilderness when there was a perfectly good city nearby that had plenty of necessities easily reachable.
