isn't it lovely
heart made of glass, my mind of stone

Soft sounds of rock ringed throughout the clinic, the gentle, rhythmic guitar cutting through the quiet air that smelled faintly of disinfectant. A smooth voice flowed out of the speaker attached to the corners of the square-shaped reception room, and at the sound of the song, a man turned his back to the counter. Reaching a hand forward, he simply turned up the music to the complaint of his single patient, who was settled in an uncomfortable plastic chair. Said customer had been there for a total of twenty minutes, and had already driven the doctor absolutely insane; which was why he was pulling the dick move of making the grumpy man wait even longer for his check-up. [break][break]
A smirk pulled up on the corners of the man's lips at the thought. Tapping the sleek counter lightly, a deep green gaze glanced around the room, analyzing how empty the place was. There was a total of 6 cheap plastic chairs, three on each side, leaning against the white walls. A cyan stripe slashed across the pure white, clashing with the rest of the almost color-less room. For a brand new clinic barely a month old, it didn't look that bad. Especially in consideration of the owner, who was no doubt a mess funding wise. [break][break]
Continuing to follow the rhythm of the beat with his right hand, Leon took his free hand and took a few moments for appearance maintenance. From messing with his soft green tie, to running his hand through his gelled and parted hair, doing such simple actions seemed to make the customer even more agitated. After all, it was pretty obvious that the twenty-one year old was simply wasting his own time, and the customer's time. [break][break]
With a soft chuckle vibrating in his throat, Leon took a final look through the place. 'I really need a receptionist or some other workers...' It really wasn't recommended for him to be the only worker, especially since he had his own social life. Maybe it just consisted of him getting drunk every night with a bunch of strangers, but! It was a social life none the less, and deserved it's own special attention. And at that thought, Leon was prepared to finally treat the patient, even going so far as to walk around the counter and greet the aggravated man, when a familiar ring clashed through the air.[break][break]
'A...customer?'[break][break]
