appearance Five foot seven and light of weight, Shannen has a thin waist but a modest bust and hips. Her legs are long, and often is given credit for having a dancer’s figure. She has soft facial features and a slightly pale skin tone. She has silky light blue hair that falls just below her shoulders, and has a glossy shine that throws off different colors when under light. Her eyes are a mix of marigold and lavender. Shannen often incorporates black into her attire, and is renowned for her thigh high boots. personality Shannen is predominantly a gentle girl. She’s attentive and thoughtful, often looking out for the others around her, and making sure they’re healthy and happy. She’s loving and kind - very soft in nature, though sometimes this is not immediately obvious. Working with the TRS has lent her ability to turn off her compassion and empathy when needed - and has hardened her a little. She can keep a front of being serious and her calm head usually helps her in this cause, her natural intelligence allowing her to be observant and learn quickly. Illusion Manipulation: Mastered. backstory Shannen was a miracle baby, born to a couple who were told the chances of conceiving were rare - next to none. Overjoyed that their efforts paid off, they thoroughly prepared and planned for their daughter - leaving no amount of thing left untouched or unprepared. Many of Shannen’s youngest memories are those of a starry eyed dreamer - full of learning, cherishment, and imaginative wonder. She was given the best of everything - education and toys, food and clothing. It was hard to not be a happy child when you’re surrounded by so much love and care. Despite being handed anything she could ever want or need, Shannen turned out to be a hard worker - and a dedicated one at that. The girl was dedicated to her studies, and was often found with different groups of friends - a happy smile on her face. During her schooling years she took an interest in baking - as well as the art of dancing. She was a well-viewed student, popular and didn’t struggle with being ostracized or bullied - neither did she partake in bullying. She would often spend hours after school baking delicious treats, only to give some to her parents and take the rest to her friends the next day. Shannen only seemed to flourish as the years went by, all until near the graduation she would have from high school. An issue from the past began to bite back at the small happy family - old bad blood her father had with AP. After seeing her family come under threat and her father nearly losing his fingers to someone acting as a debt collector of sorts - Shannen hung up her baker’s apron and dancing shoes. She gathered every penny of saved funds and contacted the TRS to apply - also asking for their help to relocate her family to somewhere safer. Fortunately - this went according to plan. They were relocated to Lorsette successfully, and she continues to hope that her parents will be safer here. Originally, Shannen struggled on the front-lines, but through trial and error, she has since adjusted. Almost nobody from her hometown would have expected the gentle girl to be capable of fighting. misc *Shannen is the type for those elaborate latte drinks. She tends to indulge herself with them. *Shannen likes rain and thunderstorms, as she finds the atmosphere during these times quite calming. *Shannen tends to turn towards things like baking to destress, though this can also be accomplished with the aforementioned sounds of rain. *Shannen’s favorite treats are cinnamon rolls, she likes them with extra glaze.
