The words that just finished being spoken replay in his mind as his balled fists clutch the piece of paper he had been using to study. The pencil he had been once using was snapped in two on the desk besides it. Such words of false accusations cause the young dragon's blood to boil. For all the years of pure effort he had put into gaining a glimspe of attention from his parents only to be met with such venomous words cause him to feel a sense of rage he has never felt before. No matter how much blood he shed, how many sleepless nights he went through. The efforts he placed in his academic career, in his social and personal life. Even if he worked as hard as Haimi... even if worked twice more than his brother did.[break]
It's unfair.[break]
It's unfair![break]
Ieyasu hasn't done a damn thing? His parents didn't know a damn thing! He wasn't the poster child they wanted him to be and so therefore it was why he came second place.[break]
His teeth is grinding as a pained expression of frustration and disbelief washed over him. His parents knew nothing. They saw what they wanted and not what actually went down. They were never there during the times where Ieyasu poured his all into being the son they wanted him. Ieyasu never slacked on his lessons, he never slacked on his training and yet... he was always two steps behind Haimi for some mysterious reason.[break]
He could never overcome his brother and for that a seed of hate had began to grow over the years. It would gradually grow with each word of comparison, each action or comment that suggested he wasn't enough. That he could never be Haimi so how dare he keep trying to aim to surpass him. The dragon could feel his hand shift, could hear the vague sound of wood snapping. It was the rage induced from all of this unfair treatment, the rage that was naturally was deep within him. The inner ferocious monster calling him to act upon it. [break]
The stinging of his wounds from the damage done from breaking things with his scaled hands. The sound of further shattering filled the room. His rage was taken on anything in sight and it wasn't long until his room was a mess, his hands both had been shifted and in a bad state; cut from various glass and other objects. They fall to his sides as he inhaled deeply. He was losing himself in the worst way possible.[break]
It didn't help when his door opened in a hurry.[break]
It didn't help when the one person he needed not to see was there; the one who caused all of this. [break][break]
Ieyasu didn't pay any mind to the words of concern, to the hurried actions of his brother who rushed to his side to clutch his bleeding hands but Ieyasu slaps his hands away cruelly. He had enough.[break]
He was tired of playing along with him for the sake of his parents being proud of him. [break]
"Don't touch me! Don't come near me. " His expression darkened, the rage he had been keeping down for so long consumed him as he growled. "This is all your fault, Haimi... and for that - I... I will never forgive you."[break][break]
"You are no brother of mine..."
You should be more like your brother, Ieyasu. Haimi's planning ahead for his future. He's establishing himself but what about you? What are you doing? You haven't done one good thing up until this point. I'm ashamed to call you my son.[break]

Why was it always about him in the end? Why could the spotlight never be shone on him?[break]
