Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,
The Staff

Ontario had found himself bored at home, so he left to do some missions. The missions gave him great joy but at the end of the day he couldn't help but find the desire of wanting some attention. Anybody would do, all they required was to say yes to him. When ever he went out it was for one of two reasons, missions and flings. There were times when he went on a shopping run, but this wasn't one of those times because they had plenty to spare. He just wanted some fresh company for the evening because as much fun as it was to have flings with the familiar guards and guests allowed, he wanted to find somebody knew to gain attention from. As of lately nobody seemed to keep his interest very long even though he was more than willing to have a fling with them. He first wandered around AP HQ before heading towards the mixed distracts. His favorite preys were those that were heaven species because back in the day, heaven and hell had been at war which each other. It always amused him when he came across somebody who was either not caring of that history or too young to even know about it.
But then again, he took pleasure in trying to twist the words around to anybody who stood by their side, even those the gates have been closed and weren't going to reopen, or at least he hoped not. Slowly he made his way towards the outskirts of Aria Village, curious on who he'd find over there.
[attr="class","ageha_text"] Coming to Aria Village might have been a mistake on Theo's end.
[break][break]On one hand, he was on a mission. A mission so important, his supervisors are back in their offices biting their nails in anxiety. Unfortunately, the crime had to take place in Aria Village, one of the most elusive places Lorsette could ever even name. Four districts, all in all. Such a town had been rumored to be involved with the Assembly of Phantoms, a group of terrorists who refuses to leave Lorsette alone. The Assembly, to be precise, is why he is here today.
[break][break]Someone had been kidnapped, and Theo was anointed with the task to retrieve the person and apprehend the culprit behind the kidnapping. No clear motivations were recorded. The family had refused to say something to the press due to the grief that they still apparently held. Theo knew right away that he would resent such a family; a little glimpse of their hearts' true intentions was more than enough to send him to a rage.
[break][break]But oh well. Take the kidnapped person, and tell his supervisors what exactly is going on behind the scenes.
[break][break]As he enters the village, he feels a sudden wave of nervousness hit him. He's never been here before. He would have to suffer through people refusing to even look at him, just because of a certain ability that wouldn't allow things to go easy on him. But, he sighs and thinks to himself, it's a mission. There are people at stake here.
[break][break]Best be prepared for whatever comes his way.
[break][break]NOTES :: Hope you don't mind if I snatched another one of your threads! ;v; [break]TAGS :: @ontario
Ontario paused when he noticed Theodore. He had planned on taking a walk around the outskirts of the village but changed his mind upon seeing him. Instead he stopped and just stared, curious on what Theodore would do upon noticing that he was being stared at. He was famous after all, everybody knew not to mess what him and this was his home after all. Of course what better way to greet a victim, then to play nice for now. "Something I can help you with? Officer?" He asked in a playful manner, though his family might not approve, he had no problems with sleeping around so long as the person wasn't TRS. There were a few cases of it happening on accident but he always cleaned up his mess upon finding out.
[attr="class","ageha_text"] He proceeds to do a quick mental scan on the town and its surroundings. People in the Mixed District seem to be a combination of ominous and innocent, though one cannot truly judge from the looks alone. Well, creatures of different species and origin reside here, after all, so of course all of them would be different. So far he's seen no suspicious behavior from the residents, but then again, caution should always be observed.
[break][break]Theodore would have moved forward had it not been for the sudden feeling of being watched.
[break][break]Brown eyes widen slightly as he turns around and meets another pair of eyes, belonging to a long-haired young man. He keeps silent for a few moments, until finally, he decides to ask what they want. But before he could open his mouth, the young man beats him to it, asking what he could do to help him. Theodore may have been wearing a long coat, but the badge on his suit was quite visible enough. No wonder he was able to identify him, Theodore thinks.
[break][break]He manages a small smile, a nervous chuckle escaping his lips. "A-Ah, nothing, really. I'm just... searching for someone." He figured the best way to start the investigation is to ask around, beginning with this young man. He pulls out a picture of the victim and raises it beside his face. "Have you, by any chance, seen this person? Witnesses say they were last sighted here."
Ontario is somewhat surprised that it seems that Theodore doesn't know of him. How popular of an AP soldier he was. That would only work in his favor in the long run. He smiles slightly when he hears Theodore's answer, pouting because he wanted him to be searching for him instead. He looks over the picture, the victim looks somewhat familiar, not that he'd care to admit that. "Nope, haven't seen them." He lied as he glanced away. "Though it wouldn't surprise me if they were in this place seeing as it is AP's territory after all." He admitted openly before chuckling slightly. "Have you come to join, or for a good time? You can't honestly expect anybody to answer your questions willingly here? They have too much going against them." He answered, amused to be spelling it out for Theodore. "You came for a missing person, I came for a fling. How about we get half a win and you join me?" He asked in a teasing tone, not believing Theodore as one to agree but it was worth a shot.
