SPECIES OVERVIEW
GENERAL INFORMATION
The species overview was designed with the sole purpose of assisting members in making a shortlist for which species they wish to use for their characters. This being said, everyone is still expected to read the in-depth species information, specifically for the species they wish to play. Detailed abilities lists and other information will not be stored here to promote reading the information. If we find too many players are using this to avoid reading site information, the species overview will be removed. These are intentionally vague and are designed to provide a rough idea for newer members.
This will mention some abilities and weaknesses, but not all, therefore you will need to read all the information to find all the information.
HELL
Bakenekos: Cat shifters from hell capable of manipulating fire and sensing death, however, they are weak against holy water and blessings.
Boogeymen: Creatures known for being capable of entering dreams and conjuring illusions along with other abilities, however, they are weak during daylight and can be driven mad if their eyes are exposed for too long.
Demons: Demons are renown for their manipulation of fire and darkness along with other abilities, but they can be burned by holy water or made sick because of blessings.
Devils: Fast creatures known for having smoke and fire manipulation, although, similar to most they struggle against blessings and holy water.
Dhampirs: Rare half-vampire half-human hybrids capable of peak strength and speed and also struggle with burns inflicted by holy water.
Djinni: They are known as "wish granters" capable of teleporting items to suit people's wishes along with other abilities, however, they are bound to their lamp and should it break, they suffer and lose their abilities.
Fallen Angels: Renown for having minor manipulations of light and darkness, their manipulations are limited to striker attacks along with other abilities, alas, they are unable to take many hits because of their angelic genes.
Hellhounds: They are fire manipulating canine shifters with some other abilities which still makes them powerful, however, they become weak during rainy or cold days.
Imps: A short demon with fire manipulation and other magic alongside some other abilities, but due to their smaller size, they are not physically stronger than most species.
Kitsunes: A fox shifter with multiple tails and two different types based on elements along with some other abilities, but they have low endurance and stamina.
Oni: Powerful demons with incredible strength and fire manipulation along with other abilities, alas, water can meddle with their fire manipulation and weaken the ability greatly.
Procubi: A half-siren half-demon creature capable of manipulating fire and using hexes, but they receive similar backlash from failing to feed off the closeness of being near others.
Sirens: Creatures that feed off the closeness, they use their siren song to lure people along with abilities that allow them to fool others, however, they must monitor they energy levels or else they face consequences.
Tieflings: An elemental-based demon who can control one mentioned element and use other forms of magic, however, they are slow healers, unlike most creatures, even magical healing is slow.
Vampires: Strong and fast creatures of the night who have a small slew of abilities, but unfortunately they burn easily in the sun, these burns taking months to heal.
Xigxags: Purple-striped, horned cat-shifters who create illusions and decoy creation, unfortunately, they are unable to cope with taking many hits.
Zhar-ptitsus: Birds known for their feathers covered in a shimmer and capable of light manipulation, however, they cannot take many hits and are more geared towards dodging.

HEAVEN
Angels: Strong light manipulators with some support-based abilities among other powers, however, they are weak against physical attacks, meaning they cannot take many hits.
Cherubims: Short, angelic creatures with mostly support-based magic for their abilities and allows them to assist others, but they are very weak against darker magic.
Dragons: Strong, powerful and durable elemental creatures that allow them to be fighters, but dragons are notoriously slow, causing them to struggle against faster opponents.
Familiars: Protective creatures with shield creation along with other abilities which help them protect their masters, however, being forced to break contracts is extremely painful for familiars.
Guardians: Extremely strong and fast canine shifters with wings who protect the people or places they are summoned to, alas, they are weak against dark magic and ill-intentions.
Jackalopes: A half breed of usagis and zlatorogs, they are antlered bunny shifters capable of light manipulation. Alas, loud noises can cause these creatures problems because of their powerful hearing.
Nekomatas: Stealthy cat shifters capable of manipulating darkness, however, they are at when exposed to fire and smoke as it hurts their eyes and harms their lungs.
Nocturi: Creatures of the night that heal faster beneath the night sky and manipulate darkness and light, but beneath the sun and light these creatures grow weaker.
Nymphs: Elemental creatures who were believed to be sent down to Earth in order to assist the environment, but polluted areas can cause them to become sick.
Pegasi: Well-known winged-creatures of heaven who act as loyal steeds and messengers capable of wing manifestation and reaching intense speeds, however being wounded can lead to struggles in carrying on.
Qilins: Creatures that are half dragon and half zlatorog that are elementally based and excellent jumpers, however, their legs are delicate and should they be injured, can lead to a qilin being grounded.
Raijus: Animal shifters able to manipulate electricity and manipulate storms, however, mud can limit the capabilities of their electricity manipulation.
Seers: A human-like creature with psychic abilities, their abilities being entirely mind-based, however, due to their mental abilities, they can receive horrible migraines.
Selkies: Seal shifters capable of manipulating water, however, they must return to the ocean once a year else they risk sickness.
Seraphims: Fire manipulating angels who are fast among other things and known for being fighters of heaven, but they are weak when exposed to water or rainstorms and similarly cannot take many hits.
Shifters: Strong and fast animal shifters who are believed to be created to help animals communicate with people, alas, their deep connections with animals can cause them to act more like a beast instead of a person.
Tengus: Bird shifters known for their capabilities in information gathering, but their eyes are delicate against bright lights, especially if they are strobing.
Unktehis: Reptile shifters capable of manipulating water, however, similar to shift unktehis are notoriously cold-blooded and struggle in colder conditions.
Usagis: Rabbit shifters that are known for their speed and capabilities to manipulate the ground, however, they are weak to injury because their bodies are unable to handle heavy damage.
Yetis: Cold resilience creatures that can manipulate water and ice and access other abilities, however, they are weak against fire-based magic and hot weather.
Zizes: Large bird shifters that have power speed and strength when shifting, however, the larger they decide to shift, the more time it takes for them to shift. During their shift they are vulnerable.
Zlatorogs: Golden-horned deer shifters capable of light manipulation, but they are sensitive to pain and have little durability.

Earth
Deviants: Gifted-like creatures with unique appearance who get varying abilities from person to person, but every ability has a weakness and a maximum of three.
Electricytes: Technology-intuned creatures able to manipulate electricity and technology itself, alas, their deep connection with electricity can result in becoming over-charged or under-charged which can lead to sickness.
Elementals: These creatures are capable of controlling one element, each being able to heal faster than a normal human, but tragically they have low stamina, meaning they cannot use their abilities for long periods of time.
Elves: A creature who is part fae and part human who are known for being fleet-footed and dexterous, however, undead species can make them feel weak and sick.
Faekin: Human-like creatures with extremely potent magic which is usually better suited for healing and defence with some exceptions, similar to elves, they are weak when exposed to highly polluted areas.
Gargoyles: Durable ground manipulators who are often requested to protect locations, alas, they are slower creatures, making it difficult for them to fight against faster opponents.
Giants: Tall, human-like creatures who are capable of shifting their size and can access incredible strengths, but they have huge appetites and sensitive feet and ankles.
Gifted: A species which usually appear human who can have a variety of different abilities between species to species, however, they get a maximum of three abilities, each having a weakness.
Humans: For the most part, humans are regular old people without abilities with magic variants. Warlock/witches are one of those variants where they can unlock a multitude of abilities, but suffer dire consequences if used without a tome. Mages are another version of human known for their sealing magic, however, this magic can exhaust them.
Kelpies: A special type of shifter that can transform into a water horse who can manipulate water and ice, but they must come into contact with non-polluted water once a day or else their abilities weaken.
Merfolk: Beautiful humans whose legs can shift into a tail meant for swimming, they are wonderful singers and water manipulators, however, polluted water can make merfolk extremely sick.
Nagas: Flexible, poison manipulating snake shifters who are known for being beautiful dances, but similar to the creature they transform into, they are cold-blooded and struggle to warm themselves.
Nephilims: A human/angel hybrids which are capable of manipulating the weather at times and similar to their angel counterparts, they cannot take many hits.
Luciaes: Wolf shifters associated with flight and supportive abilities, but they can grow sick from strong negative emotions.
Lycanthropes: Strong and fast wolf shifters who can transform into beasts, allowing them to access greater strength, however, they are extremely allergic to silver which can kill them.
Penghous: Animal shifters heavily associated with plants being capable of manipulating and growing them, alas pollution can cause them great weakness and sickness.
Sandpeople: Creatures charged with manipulating dreams to give people good dreams, however, water can weaken them greatly alongside excessive nightmares.
Serpents: Creatures that are part dragon and part naga, they are elemental-based creatures able to shift into a 15ft long snake, although, like dragons, these creatures are weak to poisons and medical drugs.
Sphinxes: Cat shifters capable of manipulating sand, however, they are weak against cold weather and tend to freeze easily.
Unicorns: Shifters capable of support abilities such as healing and blessings, but they are weakened during the evening hours and in polluted areas.
Wylderkin: Creatures who can appear more animal or human and receive physical abilities and ritualistic magic depending type, alas, their magic takes a long time to accomplish.

UNDEAD
Banshees: Sound manipulating undead creatures which are sometimes cursed to return from Pugartory. When exposed to light, banshees struggle to see, making it difficult for them to navigate with sight.
Draugrs: Undead warriors who get light or darkness manipulation depending on the type of draugr they are, but they similarly gain weaknesses based on that, one type being slower and the other less durable.
Ghouls: Renown as puppetmasters, a ghouls' abilities are based heavily on controlling others, however, they cannot be healed through means of magic, making injuries dangerous.
Golems: Creatures infused with the soul of a formerly living person, they are strong and unyielding, but they gain weaknesses depending on the materials they are created from.
Inugamis: A two-formed canine shifter able to change between spirit and physical form capable of enhancing their speed and strength, alas, sunlight causes them problems and they are weak to fire.
Jorogumos: Speedy arachnid shifters who have two types, their abilities being dictated by those types, however, they are known for being flammable creatures.
Liches: Vindictive creatures who can manipulate blood and darkness which allows them to accomplish plenty, alas, they lack platelets, making it difficult for their wounds to clot.
Lich Beasts: Former shifters who returned to earth which can raise the dead and control bugs and low-level pests, but lich beasts are constantly hungry and make others feel their hunger.
Marras: Creatures similar to spirits who attempt to induce nightmares to survive for without feeding off the fears from nightmares, they can become weak.
Pyrruses: Undead dragons who perished, they are similarly elemental-based who are still thermal resistant, however, they are not as strong as dragons and broken bones are extremely painful.
Reapers: Known for being a frighting creature, reapers can use necromancy and view the soul spectrum, yet, they are limited on how many dead creatures they can manipulate.
Shades: Peaceful healers who returned to earth to help others and assist those around him, but they can be disoriented by strobing lights extremely easily.
Skinwalkers: Strong and fast creatures who can shift into anything they have eaten and are required to eat flesh once per day in order to survive, else they may die.
Spirits: A creature with both a physical and spiritual form, each having their own abilities such as one having telekinesis and another phasing, however, they take time to shift between these forms.
Utukkus: Carriers of messages from those who passed with their seance and enhanced memory capabilities, alas they receive harsh headaches when exposed to loud noises or bright flashing lights.
Wraiths: Fast and strong creatures who make excellent assassins because of their abilities, but wraiths have low stamina, making it difficult for them to tolerate longer fights.
