Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,
The Staff

Levi loved Halloween if not just for the fact he could spread his demon wings without having to many questions. His horns curved out of his head then pointed straight they were shot but also noticable at the same time. His short black hair was slicked back and his blood red eyes scanned the area. He was looking for some fun after being ditched at the libary. By someone he had started falling for. He was looking for someone's heart to mess with.
Levi walked around his long lengthy strides, with his large black bat like wings with purple in between the black bones of them. Today he was wearing a red collared shirt and tie, with a millitary looking coat with a black cape attached to his coat. He was a local history teacher, at the local college. But really he was the right hand demon to Volo himself however Levi had grown complacent in the human world from having not had contact with his boss since the gate of hell was closed. So some demon though of him as a rouge and a traytor to demons everywhere. He could care less what lowly demons thought of him.
Halloween, a perfect method for an infamous Assembly of Phantoms member to wander through Lorsette with no hassle. There were a limited amount of things the public knew about Krueger, although, some managed to explain his looks despite the nature of which he looked. Distorting himself with the assistance of dreams or striking while his enemy slept was not a flawless method to avoid detection. For hours, Harrison worked on tailoring his costume to hide any recognizable features, one being perfectly suitable. A simple mask was purchased alongside paints to follow a tutorial on how to make the mask of a creepypasta creature. Eyeless Jack was rather popular, although, Harrison lacked knowledge over the horror story creature. While he created the blue mask with black eye holes, he played a video telling the story; the Assembly soldier did not want people to question his costume choice.
The mask was painted a deep blue with the eyeholes being covered in a thin, black screening which allowed for Harrison’s eyes to be hidden, but for him to still see. From the black eyes was black paint down in trails, almost as those he was bleeding black from the eyes. The features of the mask were limited, the nose and mouth being thoroughly covered and hidden. A brown wig had been purchased on account of most artwork possessing simple brown hair. To cover his body was a black cloak which wrapped loosely around him, having it difficult for people to gain an approximate weight; he even increased his height a few inches to throw people off entirely. Black gloves covered his hands, Harrison’s primary weaponry being abandoned to avoid suspicion. Tonight, he merely wanted to observe the citizens of Lorsette and perhaps the enemy if given the opportunity. Cautiously, Harrison walked towards where the Halloween party took place, his frightening disguise earning a few surprised glances.
There was excitement evident by the smiling faces and joyous laughs of people enjoying the festivities. As Harrison’s eyes glanced around the area, he noticed the usual Halloween games; like bobbing for apples which he already swore to avoid. He walked around the outside of the barn, watching families enjoy themselves until noticing a figure with horns and wings. The blue-haired man gazed at the individual which caused his curiosity to pique. Was this man truly a demon or somebody wearing a disguise? Slowly, Harrison approached, glancing at the stranger through the darkened eyeholes of his frightening mask.
“Hey there!” Harrison exclaiming, grinning despite the mask keeping his face hidden.
There was a jovial tone to his voice, the “giant” attempting to allow the mysterious man to know he intended the greeting to be friendly. The Assembly soldier kept staring, a silent prayer being sent that this man could present ample information about Lorsette and the Terror Response Syndicate.

Levi would stop in his tracks turning around for one of the first time having to be the one to look up to a super tall person compaired to him. This was a first time thing for him. But he smiled his handsome devilish/myerious/mischivious smile. "Hello, if you don't mind me asking might you be a giant?, for it is my first time meeting someone so tall in this area" he said not sure weather to call this place a city or town. As he then leaned against a pillar looking up at the man no sign of fear despite the mans height. "The names Levi, I teach history at the local college" he smiled. He still wasn't planning on revealing his true job although he may not seem like a powerful demon he was at least when there was contact with the demon relm he was the right had of the devil himself. But years being away from the relm had lessoned his powers he wasn't sure why, but it had if he was in the demon relm only one that was strong enough to defeat him in a fight besides the ones demons are week against, would be the devil himself. However this was in the past and Levi wasn't the same as he once was back then. He liked being free to do what he wanted but yet he still had a habit of seeing any other demon but his boss as lower than him. However he had met very few giants in his time. That is to say he hadn't ever seen one but it was a rare encounter for him most of the time. He smiled looking up at the giant that stood in front of him "Nice costume" he rarely got intimidated by anyone.
notes: sorry if theres not much to work with but hey 300 words at least yay lol.
Acquiring his traditionally imposing height once again proved to be an excellent idea considering he could peer over the crowd while not providing a generalized height. Under most circumstances, he would make himself shorter than the average male; he preferred to be smaller. A majority of people would find his height frightful and intimidating, making them be less inclined to speak with him. Fortunately, Halloween was designed for people to be scary, thus Harrison assumed he could probably invoke his intimidating height and get away with it; nobody was aware Krueger was a giant after all. There was plenty of speculation, but the notion of giants making themselves extremely short is under most situations unexpected, allowing for the giant to slip under the radar. When he spoke to the demon, the corner of the man's lips twitched up into a nefarious grin with hints of mystery through in; it suggested the man was enigmatic and perhaps holding secrets. Everybody possessed something they wished to keep hidden, Harrison being thoroughly aware of the fact. A big nod was given in response to the inquiry over his species, although, he was certain the man could deduce from his height.
There was another nod of acknowledgement when the man provided his name and similarly his occupation. Admittedly, Harrison never attended college on account of him joining the Assembly of Phantoms immediately after finishing high school.
"Nice to meet you," He answered in a friendly manner. "Name is Micheal Hill."
A false alias was provided to avoid detection, however, Harrison assured his tone kept steady despite the lie. There was no hesitation in his words, making it nearly impossible to realize he was lying. Furthermore, the blue-haired man's face and body were completely hidden, thus any subtle facial or body movements were entirely masked. The compliment about his costume made Harrison's hidden grin broaden.
"Thanks! I worked hard on it," he responded. "Your's is pretty cool too."
The realistic wings and horns suggested Levi, as he introduced himself, could possibly be a demon. The physical traits were common of demons, and perhaps boogeymen should their appearance had altered for the sake of sparking fear; however, Harrison did not consider the man intimidating. The giant was difficult to frighten on account of his numerous days spent fighting inside people's dreams or battling in general.

Levi smiled he wasnt about to tell him it was all real that would be stupid then people would then learn what he was at school. He was pretty sure people wouldnt want their children taught by the right hand of the king of demons himself. Although it had been a long time since he saw or got orders from his boss. He did smile though when the gaint said his looked good too "Thank you, so what do you think of this party?" he asked. Levi himself found it boring but maybe that was cause the only friends he had left town. He wasnt sure who was worth making friends with or who would just take off after becoming friends with him. The demon didnt know it but that was a fear of his.
There was an element of realism to the costume of the mysterious man, although, Harrison would not doubt if perhaps the costume was manifested with the use of disguise hexes or potions. Doubting reality became easily considering the various capabilities which magic brought forth for the supernatural creatures journeying through this world. For extensive periods of time, the giant meddled with dreams, thus he easily understood how mere illusions could potential appear realistic, but he remained unaware his beliefs clouded the truth in this situation. Years of dream manipulation could result in Harrison's perception becoming a downfall considering he could easily fall into the belief anything could look realistic even it was a mere illusion manifested by the holder. Beneath the Eyeless Jack mask, a broad smile remained stretched across his lips, the Assembly soldier genuinely attempting to maintain a friendliness to maintain his identity as Micheal Hill. The inquiry about the part resulted in Harrison briefly glancing around to survey the area. The farm party was your standard Halloween party with spooky decorations and the usual festivities.
"Eh... It's a little average, but oh well!" Harrison answered cheerfully. "I am guessing you like these types of parties? I mean, you do have a wicked costume!"
Oftentimes, people who took extensive amounts of time on creating a realistic costume, even with the assistance of magic, were fans of Halloween. The spooky holiday was endearing considering there was plenty of candy to indulge on and enjoyment in creating a costume. Admittedly, Harrison was enjoying getting the opportunity to eavesdrop on Lorsette citizens since it allowed him to create his Eyeless Jack costume.
