abilities Darkness Manipulation -- Advanced User can create, shape and manipulate darkness and shadows. By itself, darkness is mostly used to cloud everything into total darkness, but by accessing a dimension of dark energy it can be channeled to a variety of effects, both as an absence of light and a solid substance: one can also control and manipulate the beings that exist there, create and dispel shields and areas of total darkness, create constructs and weapons, teleport one's self through massive distances via shadows, etc. She can create, shape and manipulate darkness. She can manipulate big or small shields with this power, or make it turn into a fog so that escape becomes much easier in the process. The bigger the shield, the weaker it becomes, meaning it won’t last nearly as long as a smaller shield, however the smaller shield protects less people. Enhanced Speed -- Advanced User can move much faster than the average member of their species, beyond what can be emulated via natural training and with little to no maintaining. However, this power is not without any ill effects, as it can strain the body, although some users may be resistant or even immune to the effects of high speed travel, including acceleration, friction, g-force, inertia, etc. She is able to move fast, making dodging attacks much easier and since her armor is light, it doesn’t really slow her down. She needs balance else she’ll lose control over her power. Curse -- Mastered Items that are infused with magic to cause terrible events to occur. Curses are banned everywhere considering how dastardly they can be to people. Cursed items oftentimes create events that can severely harm or even kill the user. They have also been known for bringing people back as spirits, reapers or liches. A majority of curses are not permanent, but when a curse is laid on a weapon that is a whole other story. Cursed weapons are outlawed in all parts of the world since the curse is permanent. This is due to the fact that when a cursed weapon makes a cut on somebody it can not be healed by angel, nephilim, hymn, hexes, rapid regeneration or any other forms of healing magic. Potions slightly assist the healing process, but otherwise the wound must heal naturally. These are referred to as cursed wounds, which require a nephilim to break the curse in order to allow healing. She is able to curse items, one of her methods is infusing her magic with her summoned choice weapon(s). Enhanced Endurance -- Intermediate Users can endure physical stresses beyond the capabilities of the greatest humans enabling them to do things such as operating on a "low power setting" (being able to operate efficiently for extended amounts of time), holding their breath for large periods of time, remain calm through stressful or painful situations, tolerate extreme hunger, unbearable thirst, and strong urges to sleep. She isn’t able to take as many hits like the honorable Draugrs, however her endurance is still pretty high for being a dishonorable Draugr. She is able to ignore physical pain or emotional stress as means to get the job done, her motto is to be the last one standing. The problem is that she has gotten to the point where she overestimates herself and is at risk or serious injury in the process. Enhanced Senses -- Intermediate The user has extremely accurate senses, allowing them to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel better than an average member of their species. She has extreme senses, allowing her to see, hear, smell, taste, and feel better than other species. Weapon/Armor Summoning -- Mastered User is able to create weapons or armor out of thin air. She is able to create a weapon or armor just by thinking about it. The weapon(s) will appear in her hand(s) or armor will cover her body. Her armor is limited to light weight, meaning she can’t take very many hits as for swords, depending on how heavy it will be will depend on if she can summon more than one or be required to hold the one in just her hand. It should be noted that she can create a shield, seeing as it could be used as a weapon even if it counts as inappropriate use. Immortality -- Beginner She doesn't age, she looks eighteen. She does however get sick and can be killed. Self-Sustaining -- Beginner She relies solely on the energy that comes from her soul to power her body, thus she doesn't need to eat, drink, sleep or use the bathroom. backstory She is an only child, born in Greece before the War of the Traitors. Her father was an adviser to the King of Greece, having been previously a guard until it had become known to the King that he was a seer. Her mother remained at home because this was a man's world after all. Her mother had been craving for a son, but had been blessed with a daughter instead. She was raised under a strict house hold, learning to become lady like so that once she turned the age fourteen, she would be married off for the sole purpose of giving birth to future generations. The lessons came off easy but rather boring, she wanted to be outside and help tend to the fields. For punishment for such desires, her mother would lecture her about how she was a girl and the sooner she got it in her thick skull, the better it would become for everybody. Her father would remain at the castle for long periods, rarely coming home to see his daughter growing into a fine woman. She was thirteen when she had heard the knock on the door, hearing about the passing of her father. According King, there had been a traitor in their mist, he had attacked him and had her father not intervened when he had, he surely would have perished. Her father was a hero for saving his King and in turn, she was left fatherless. The King had offered for her mother to move into the castle for the sake of being protected but her mother opted to remain at home, in which case the offer had been extended that they'd be welcomed there at any time. She had fled into her bedroom to cry, no longer having any connection to the castle because when her father had returned to visit, he would tell her stories about his adventures. She wanted nothing more than to be like him when she grew up. They arranged for her father to be cremated and gave her mother his sword and shield. A year later, her mother was preparing her future wedding dress, already having an idea of a few possible suitors to take care of her daughter. She of course wasn't pleased on the idea of becoming somebody's wife only for the sake of raising children. She believed there was more to her than just that, but what could she do? She had to respect her mother's wishes even if it were to displease her in the process. There was a knock on the door, her mother paused with mending her dress to answer it, startled to see who was standing at the door but none other than the man that had betrayed their King. He invited himself in, taking a look around the place as more of his followers had gone inside. They were captured as he explained his plan, how she would help him get back in the castle so that he could kill the King once and for all and become the next future King. Her mother had remained silent, but she was secretly trying to figure out a way for them to escape. In the middle of his talk, he had sent two of his followers away with her as to have a private conversation with her mother alone. She suddenly had a vision, never experiencing it before, having believed to be only human like her mother. She waited till it was dark and they were dozing before slowly pulling away from them. She then crept away, going into her bedroom before changing into a much more comfort outfit before going into her parents bedroom to grab her father’s sword and shield. It was a few minutes later that she heard mumbling, most likely they had noticed she wasn’t there anymore and she slowly opened the window before slipping through it, running as fast as possible in her attempt to get away. The sword and shield were heavy but they helped defend against many of the attacks being thrown against her. She went into the barn, setting the shield down she quickly opened the stall to put the harness on before grabbing her shield and climbing onto the horse. It was difficult because the shield was so heavy but once she was on, she gripped onto the horse and encouraged it to run just as she heard them approaching. As she fled, she caught sight of her mother, who surprisingly seemed pleased to see her getting away. She turned the horse with the plans to save her mother, only to see her slowly shake her head no. Being displeased she turned around once more and fled from their home, going down the road as she headed north. Tears streamed down her eyes, making her cheeks soggy as she fled from her captors. It was very difficult to out run them, the shield was heavy and all she could do was hope this horse could keep going. Her telekinesis activated on accident, due to her emotional state of mind. Objects started flying towards them, making it very difficult for them to keep up and she was able to flee from them. The travel was rough, having no idea of the direction of the castle, worried about the safety of her mother. Unaware to her, the traitor had loaded her mother up onto a carriage with some supplies, planning on traveling after her as he planned to recapture her. She road a whole day without taking any breaks, finding herself becoming tired and somewhat sick in the process but she feared she would be recaptured and forced herself to keep going. She only lasted two more days before dozing on her horse, falling off of it and onto the ground. The horse fled, having been startled when her shield smacked into the ground. Having held the shield at the time, her arm had smacked against it, breaking her arm in the process. Slowly she reached out to grab her shield with her other hand before slowly crawling to the side of the road, at the very least having the will to stay out of sight in case anymore passengers were to travel down this path. It was a few minutes later, she went unconscious. When she had awoken, a boy was sitting by a fire, it seemed he must have tended to her because her arm no longer felt so sore. Her arm was bandaged up, keeping it from moving to much as she laid on the ground. He must have noticed her awake because he approached with a bowl of soup, feeding her, making sure that she also got some water. Within a few days she was feeling much better, somewhat stronger as well even though her arm was still broken. They introduced each other and she requested sword lessons, once it seemed that she was all healed up, she mentioned how she needed to get to the castle. With his assistance, they road back to his village together. The plan had been for her to wait outside to first meet his father, since he could teach her more about sword fighting, but when he had left to go fetch him, she was recaptured by the traitors men who had managed to sneak in by using a cloak power. They placed her in the carriage and made their way towards the castle, halting as guards approached, before being allowed inside because they recognized her mother. She was in the back, hands tied with a cloth gag in her mouth, tied in the back. Once inside the traitor went inside the castle with his followers and her mother spoke to her from the front of the carriage. She cried because her mother was still safe, though her role wasn’t done just yet. She tried breaking free of her bonds but it was no use, it just was too strong. She felt somewhat frustrated at how useless she had been, seeing as she couldn’t even warn the King about the traitors intentions. Slowly she crawled towards the edge of the carriage before jumping off of it. She then proceeded to close her eyes, desiring the objects to move and by some miracle something sharp to come her way as means to free herself. She grabbed the piece of glass in her hands and started cutting the rope before pulling the cloth from her mouth. Once freed she found her sword and shield before proceeding into the castle after the traitor with the intention on saving the King. She had come across some of his followers first, giving her the practice necessary to figure out the appropriate way to fight. After defeating them, she would continue down the hall until coming fast to fast with the traitor and the King. The traitor wasn’t pleased at how much trouble she was becoming and decided to finish his torture on the King later and kill her first. He proceeded to advance towards her, using his powers to attack in his attempt to kill her. It was very difficult to dodge his attacks with her shield in her hand. He would advance towards her, determined to murder her so that he could resume his torture on the King. She fled away from him, unsure on how to go about attacking him when she wasn’t familiar with fighting. Her emotions were starting to become overwhelming and all she could think about was, self sacrifice. She found the perfect spot away from her King before once more attempting to use her telekinesis, desiring more than ever to have this building come down to crush them both. The power had activated but it came with a cost, she wasn’t able to control the power. Some guards had managed to enter and they escorted the King to safety, planning on returning for her, only for a section of the castle to come crumbing down upon them. The next thing she knew, she had woken up in a strange bed, some nurse was taking care of her wounds. She had managed to survive but just barely, as for the traitor, they never found his body so it was safe to assume he likely survived and fled from the area. The King had entered the room, explaining how she took up arms, destroyed his castle, before further adding how she had saved them all. He offered to accept her as one of his guards, provided her the required training with the help of his father and a few other guards as soon as she was healed up. She trained along side her friend, getting a chance to practice the use of her weapons and powers. Within seven years she had proven to be a worthy guard, one that was allowed to serve as his new advisor because she was able to see the future and her opinions were always welcomed. The King sent some guards on a patrol, when they went missing, her King had become concerned. She hadn’t seen any recent visions, so she excused herself in an attempt to see what was going on. She closed her eyes and started to concentrate. She could see a group of people, wearing cloaks as to avoid being known, they were headed to a secret base that she wasn’t completely familiar of. She caught sight of some of her fellow guards, they were being forced on their feet before being pushed into a ring, being forced to fight each other. She saw them slaughter each other, the vision skipped ahead to the cloaked figures, dropping the dead bodies off at the location that they had been found by her fellow guards. As soon as the vision came to a close, she returned back to her King to inform him of what she saw. It was very concerning but something had to be done about this crime, so he sent fifteen guards to the location with the plan of allowing to be captured as to infiltrate the secret base. They were supposed to return within a month but it never happened, all fifteen were found, dead. She couldn’t help but feel worried about their men, volunteering to go with the next guards. Her King told her no, not willing to risk losing anymore guards to these people. At the end of the day, she headed home, having a vision about almost being captured, once it finished she was well prepared for her enemy advancing towards her. After overwhelming him, she captured and returned to her King with her prisoner. As grateful as he was that she had brought a prisoner in, he couldn't help but feel worried for her safety, so he assigned guards to watch over her. The protection was overwhelming but what could she do, what her King wanted, was what he would get after all. It was around this time that her friend's wife came to her, pleading for some assistance. She explained how she wanted more children but she wasn't able to do so. Since she knew that she likely would never marry, she decided to go in with his wife so that she could donate to the bank so that his wife would be able to freeze or implant them when ever she wanted. After doing so, she went on about her business, unaware that his wife had tricked her so that her friend would soon be giving birth to her children. It hadn't crossed her mind that his wife was somewhat jealous of her relationship with her friend and how she wanted to give back by birthing for her instead. Triplets were born, meanwhile she was unaware because she thought she had been doing his wife a favor when in reality the favor was being done for her instead. Meanwhile she just couldn't get the missing guards out of her head, wanting nothing more than to find them and bring them home and what better way to do that then to figure out where they were hiding them? A few days later, once more they were ambushed, this time she was taken captive because she didn’t want to risk the other guards being murdered in the process. It also gave her the chance needed to break in and save the fellow guards that were likely still alive, having not seen their dead body, yet anyway. She was disarmed before being placed in a cell, treated like a prisoner, when it was her turn, she was given another sword to use against her opponent. She had noticed the one she was to go against was a fellow guard, but he seemed corrupted. No matter what she attempted to say, she just couldn’t get him to drop his arms against her. Within a few minutes she was forced to put her all into this fight, asking for forgiveness from her King, believing this to be a betrayal even though this guard chose to attack her. She was forced to cut him down and then a new opponent was placed in the ring. Each new opponent was a guard, each refusing to give in and choosing to attack her first. Within the nine years of being held captive here, she had so many deaths upon her hands, trying to believe in the back of her mind they were in a better place now but feel guilty it had come to this. She had been placed back in her cell, knowing they ran out of opponents for her to fight. They had captured more victims, one being a familiar face, once that she kept in touch with that she was well aware of had a family at home. It was surprising to see him here. She was forced out of her cell, new opponent lined up for her. Once more she had to put up with people that weren’t willing to surrender for the sake of trying to work along side of her as to break out of this place. She was being attacked, giving her only the option to defend herself, which meant killing them in the process. It felt like a short time had passed since it was his turn, it was surprising to see him standing across from her, unwilling to fight. Sorrow filled her heart at the idea of being forced to kill her previous opponents to save her own life. Seeing as he wasn’t attacking her, she wouldn’t do it either. With them not attacking, their captors were growing restless, threatening to use possession on her friend in the process. The action angered her, but what could she do about it, though instead of attacking she just stood there, determined as ever to not fight him. It appeared to her as if he might be struggling against the possession, it being proven when their captors had pointed it out to them, threatening to kill them both. She knew there was only one way for this to end, unfortunately one of them would have to die. She used telepathy in an attempted to be heard by her King. I’m sorry I failed you my King. She managed to hear what sounded like a faint whisper, but it was too difficult to make out the thoughts that were thought in his mind. She would glance towards her friend, already knowing which one she had decided. Slowly she would raise her sword in the air, appearing in a stance as if about ready to swing her sword at him, but instead quickly turned the blade upon herself before stabbing herself in the gut. Blood came up her throat and out of her mouth before she slowly crumbed to her knees. Her captors were content with one of them dying even though the outcome wasn’t one they had expected and frankly wasn’t nearly as fun as one being forced to fight to the death. They prepared to snatch her off of the ground to drag her away, planning on returning her to the location her King was familiar with finding his dead guards in, not counting that her friend might get in their way. She had died, finding herself in Purgatory. She viewed herself as having a good live and chose to remain there instead of returning to the world of the living, missing the War of the Traitors in the process. In the year 1454 a person, named Zeredah, sparked fear in the hearts of millions when she stated they needed change. It wasn't long before the Terror Response Syndicate was formed. Seeing as she was still in Purgatory, she hadn’t become aware of the two groups. Besides noticing phantom pains through out her life, she had come to notice the increase in people arriving at Purgatory and decided that it was time to request a chance to return back to Earth. She arrived on Earth in a new body as a draugr, her previous had been cremated shortly after her death. She'd meet a few Terrors upon walking on the streets, being saved by some Terror Response Syndicate hunters. It was through them that she became caught up on the news of things happening in the world and she joined for the sake of new training and getting a chance to punish those Assembly of Phantoms members once and for all. After completing her apprenticeship, she made the effort in capturing the Assembly of Phantoms members and destroying any Terror in sight, gaining her the elite hunter rank.
