Angelique Hallows the burden of immortality in a lifelong repentance general info
appearance What secret lies behind that ethereal beauty? Despite living decades after decades, her fair skin never lost its charms, still continuing to captivate eyes of both young and old. It remains smooth, unblemished- untouched by the harshness of life. Her hair flows gracefully down her body; ivory strands reaching her waist, silky and smooth. Amidst all these angelic soft colors, her eyes is a constant reminder of the strength she holds. Optics in a bold hue of red act as the windows of her soul. Angelique is blessed with womanly curves; well-endowed both in her chest and hips while having a tiny waist. Though already a mother of three, her body stands equally among virgin young ladies. She's not muscular, but instead she's long and willowy, and a bit too soft to touch. Measuring 5 feet and 7 inches in height with slender limbs to boot. Clothes that she likes to wear are always on the conservative side, even through the years that passed she retained a sense of modesty and chastity when it comes to her body. However, the changing of time still forced her to adopt a more modernized style. Clothes that hug and outline her body while still covering the majority of her skin are much favored. personality
abilities Immortality Control Level: Natural After the tragedy Angelique has met, she was given another chance to live and this time she was given the whole eternity to stay on Earth to finish everything and do more. Death wishes her all the best as she spends a lifetime with guilt plaguing her consciousness. It's only when her body and soul gets destroyed would she be free from the pain of the past. Shape-shifting Control Level: Natural Reborn as a Lich Beast, Angelique treads the realm of the living under the guise of a compassionate author. When in reality, she's nothing but a rotting corpse of a deer; body is still in tact, but flesh falling off from its frame. Since her desire to live is out of love- to protect someone very precious to her- the decomposition of her form is minimal. There are several holes all over her body, each having varying sizes and shapes. A patch around the left eyes has completely rotted away, exposing a bloodstained skull yet both eyes are still present and functional. No amount of perfume can cover the stench of death clingy dearly onto her presence. Humans will never know but beings, specially those that are close to death, will immediately take notice. When in this form, she will be less physically stronger but other lich beast abilities will be enhanced since she's already in her purest state. Raise Dead Control Level: Advanced Angelique can call out a herd of decomposing deer when she's in a pinch. Although the number isn't overwhelmingly great, her mastery of this ability allows her to raise at least a hoard of 30 deer which she's able to keep for a maximum of 3 posts. The less deer she summons, the longer she'll be able to keep them. However, her human form acts like a limiter for her powers, thus she'll only be able to summon half of what she can for half of the time she can keep it when in her lich beast form. Pestilence Control Level: Mastered During her time as human, Angelique always found insects to be quite fascinating. She's not the person to kill it, rather someone who'd return to the nature once she finds one lost in her home. Perhaps this was the reason why it was one of the abilities that she had acknowledged first. She can summon swarms of different insects according to her need and manipulate them to her advantage; those that spew venom, those that devour foundation, those that could creep into crack and crevices, and linger to gather information and those that would make a man scream. Insects are tiny and fragile, however. In terms of power, they're the least threatening compared to the monsters that roam the real of the living. But, if used properly and on the right time, man wouldn't win a war waged against them. Plague Control Level: Beginner The ability to breathe death is a curse to a medic than a blessing. Being a former healer, she found it against her values to make use of the Plague. This skill allows her to spread a disease called Necrotizing fasciitis- a flesh-eating disease of the body. It gnaws on the skin, promptly making its way into the fat and muscles, only stopping once it reaches the bones. It can do this in a short amount of time, but in Angelique's case, it would take a long while before it even get past the last layer of the skin. The disease would stop doing damage once the ability is cancelled; sadly, the wounds that have been inflicted could not be reversed. It would definitely leave a mark. Famine Control Level: Intermediate Angelique is constantly hungry. No, not ravenous but just hungry. She's unsure what she's hungry for, all she knows is that she wants to fill up something. She's lacking; there's a gaping hole somewhere in her soul and it can be really uncomfortable to deal with it. So, she eats even though nothing is achieved. She eats meat, fruit, vegetables-- not even a human's flesh and blood can quench satisfy her. The lengths that hunger could push a human to go to is truly unimaginable! This feeling even bleeds out to the surroundings as creatures around her would find themselves getting a tiny bit famished when in her presence. backstory Decades had already passed since the greatest tragedy of her life but Angelique still remembers them as if they happened yesterday. Her death was nothing scary, instead it was like a good night's sleep and her rebirth was like waking up from a nightmare. She was burned, buried and clawed herself back to the world of the living. Now, she's dressed in a silken robe, traveling to spread the great words of Akari... and she has been doing that for quite a long time already. She could recall her past in great detail; she was once a child of a wealthy merchant, an honor student, a frustrated doctor and a part of the Terror Response Syndicate. Angelique had a husband- he was a priest of Akari's as well, but things didn't go quite well between them. He tried to hurt her son, so she shooed him away. No one was more important than her children. She had three children: two daughters, who successfully built their own family, and a boy- a very odd boy. Truly, things flashed very clearly in her mind but did that past mattered? Things were never pretty back after her son started acting odd. Everything that followed that incident were bitter and hateful. She no longer wanted to remember but each night her dreams were haunted by the slaps and screams she'd given her son in hopes to straighten him out. Angelique only wanted him to be normal but it didn't happen. They only drifted apart, and as embarrassing as it was to admit for a mother, they only managed to mend their relationship when another person came in their lives. Matthew... was it? She didn't like him at first but her son loved him, in turn she learned to love him as well and began treating him as her own son. For a moment, she felt her family was coming back together. But life wasn't just fair She had to die, but she proved how love can overcome death. Reborn as she creature of death, Angelique roamed the outskirts of Lorsette smeared in mud, tear-stained and calling out to her son's name like a mad woman. Fortunately, a group of Akari Priestesses found her brought her to their temple which she stayed and studied the scriptures of Akari. Later on, she took on vows of priesthood and began serving the church. It was also during her time as a priestess was she able to find an explanation behind the mysterious abilities and immortality that came along her rebirth. The god of death pitied her soul, perhaps was moved by her emotions and so gave her a chance to find her son albeit not as a human but a lich beast. In order to protect her secret, she took it upon herself to become a traveling priestess, trapped in an endless pilgrimage to spread the word of Akari. It also gave her freedom to look for her son, though when she managed to travel back to her hometown she was told that her son was locked in an asylum where he died. The news greatly devastated her yet in the depths of her heart, she never lost hope. This was the very reason that forced her to keep on going, treading the planet while clutching on to the desire to find that one precious thing. It didn't matter how far, or how long it had to take because this time she had an eternity to look and be with him. misc ☆ Despite dying at an older age, Angelique's human vessel is a younger version of herself. She appears to be in her mid-20s (24-26). ☆ She loves flowers and tends to surround herself with flowers in order to hide the stench of death. While it works around normal people and some species, it doesn't work with those who closely related to death. However, she's already known to love flowers even when she was still a human. Lavenders are her favorite. ☆ She mastered playing the violin when she was younger. Although she doesn't perform in public, she played it very often to her family back then. She even used it to play lullabies to put her children to sleep. ☆ Angelique has an irrational fear of open waters. She can't swim and will not touch the ocean no matter what. | roleplayer info ☆ NAME DIA ☆ RP EXPERIENCE - ☆ TIMEZONE GMT +8 ☆ GENDER FEMALE ☆ AGE 20+ ☆ OTHER CHARACTERS n/a if none ☆ FACE CLAIM fate/stay night, Irisviel von Einzbern ---------------------- THIS CHARACTER BELONGS TO DIA.
