Baxter Mutt of the Lupek| Deserter of the Lupek general info
appearance Baxter is a large, well built male, standing at 6'1 and carrying around 175 pounds of pure muscle that lacks the ability to weigh him down. Growing up in the wild amongst his traditional, isolated and primitive kin gave him the muscularity he possesses in his arms, legs and abdomen; and these features are complimented by his caramelized tan flesh. Baxter has a sloppy, wild mess of brow hair on his head, and though you can barely notice it due to how narrow slit his pupils are, he has cocoa eyes. The pride of his people is etched onto his cheeks in the form of crimson fang-shaped tattoos. From beneath his upper lip, two sharp pearly fangs peek out and hug his bottom lip whenever his mouth is closed, and whenever he opens it it is revealed he has a matching set on his bottom row of teeth as well. His nose is button-like; small, but pointed up a little sharply, showing off it's purpose for hunting scents. Baxter has lengthened nails, sharpened as claws and are more durable than the normal nails of a person. Throughout his body, there are many scars taking the forms of claw marks, stab wounds and slash wounds throughout his body - but the deepest, ugliest and most obvious scars are the multitude of quadra-dotted bite scars on his neck and shoulders meant to permanently desecrate his pride, defile his honor and disgrace his existence as a submissive and lesser being. personality

Physically, his body morphs. His claws extend, sharpen and harden on his hands and feet. His muscles thicken and bulge. His fangs sharpen and extend down his lower lips, while the rest of his teeth become jagged for messy bites. His pupils also thin further into needles. While in this state, Baxter's strength, agility, stamina and defense are tripled, turning him into a relentless beast that sees nothing but red. His five senses are sharply honed as well, allowing him to pursue and react to his preys choices of action. The transformation itself is excruciatingly painful despite his pain tolerance, during it he becomes numb to pain and cannot access the graveness of whatever wounds he may take and so he continues to fight. During this state, he becomes very irritable. As a result, he starts building rage each time he attacks and each time he is inflicted with damage, force, or resistance. As the rage builds, it makes him more and more susceptible to losing his sense of judgement and makes him prone to lashing out at other people or things other than his prey, This makes him "enraged", negating his ability to revert back to his original state until he is incapacitated by another person. While enraged, he does nullify mind-impairing effects other than loss of judgement. There are side effects of using the ability, usually after he reverts back to his original form. Firstly, his body is inflicted with grueling pain during and after reverting, and will proceed to be incredibly sore and weakened. If he reverts after being enraged, he will fall unconscious from the amount of strain and trauma his body will be in or even worse based on the injuries sustained during it and the period he remained enraged. Beast Unleashed can be forcefully reverted by incapacitating him through asphyxiation, consistent overpowering restraint until he faints from frustration, or mind-impairing effects (calm/soothing, not fear) BEFORE he becomes enraged. Call of the Wild (Secondary) - Baxter will bellow a great howl into the atmosphere, able to be heard from blocks away. The howl will beckon the spectral forms of fallen wolves, up to ten at a time. These wolves are manifested with a physical form, able to make contact with the real world as well as feast on the real world. The wolves are always fully grown adult wolves, and they will obey the command of Baxter and protect him fiercely as their alpha so long as he is fully conscious. Baxter is only able to use this ability every three hours, and until then is only able to howl loudly but be able to summon nothing. The biggest risk to this ability is that there is a chance that one of the wolves will turn against him and either assault another wolf or even assault him in an attempt to usurp him as alpha. The chances of this happening are highest when he is gravely weakened and alone. Beast's Blood (Passive) - The blood of beasts flows through Baxter's veins. Courtesy of his lineage, his senses are incredibly keen, his physiology is that of a man-beast, and he bears the ability to communicate with his his fellow beasts: canines, specifically. Baxter's strength, agility, and stamina are plentiful like his canid kin. backstory The Lupek are known as one of the greatest tribes to still inhabit the Canadian wilderness. Their people have tended to their lands for centuries, which have both expanded and lessened in fluctuations; but most recently, have grown much larger as a result of their as-of-late warmongering practices. It is made up of many long lineages of werewolves, bred to create stronger offspring each generation so that they command only the strongest pack. Being left to tend to their own lifestyles, politics, religion and affairs by modern society, they isolate themselves from others and only acknowledge and interact with other native tribes that have withstood time and imperialism; most often, in hostile ways. The war-like Lupek seek only might and domination, wishing to take over the primitive world with their power and experience in battle. Their most recent warring has brought them face-to-face with two great peoples like themselves, and it's becoming the bloodiest of the exchanges they've ever faced so far. Warning: themes of violence, abuse of sexual and graphic natures, many more warnings, don't read if you can't handle sensitive topics Baxter was the product of the alpha female of the Lupek, who was a ex-breeding whore. The child's father was a gifted merchant who made contact with the tribe bearing trade goods, mostly agricultural products, from modern society. Upon the discovery of the alpha female's treacherous pregnancy, she was condemned by the entire people as a whore and immediately, the father of the unborn child was hunted down and made an example of in front of the tribe through mutilation by the pack's alpha... leaving out some other fitting but entirely barbaric practice mean to demean his death just as he had demeaned the alpha male's relationship with his female. The then former alpha female was tried for royal infidelity, and it was being debated by the tribe elders what should be done with her; whether her and her unborn child should face execution, or be exiled and shunned forever by the Lupek. It was then suggested that the hybrid blood of the product could be of use to their tribe depending on the powers the fetus may develop in their life. A power other than transformation could prove a viable surprise-asset to their military might. In the end, against the alpha male's impulsive ideas, it was decided the female be kept around under close watch until she'd conceive the child many months later, and she'd then be exiled. Until then, her freedom was restricted and she was heavily criticized by the Lupek for her unethical crime against the pack's nature. It was inevitable that the same resentment would be passed down to the child itself. Once Baxter was born, the tradition was continued. Cheek marks were etched and tattoo'd on his cheeks, and he was sworn in among the pack. It was time for his mother to be exiled, and yet when she was lead to the gates of the village she suddenly turned and demanded her pup be in her arms as he was her blood and not theirs. After being firmly refused and turned away, she became violent for the sake of having her flesh and blood in her care. The mother was detained, and re-sentenced for execution, for which she was fed to the starving wolves of the tribe. Growing up, Baxter was never told anything about his mother other than how much of a treacherous wench she was; betrayed the heart of the alpha male and not only that, but bred out of the tribe to make a hideous half-breeded mutt like him. It was for his mother's infidelity that he was bullied for the entirety of his youth by the majority of his tribe and protected by none. In the hierarchy of the Lupek, he was beneath that of the omega, making him the lesser being among them all; less than even the feral mammals that roamed their villages and territories. It left him open to constant harassment. As a child, he was beaten and made an example of by the other youth and even the adults of the tribe. Whenever he bared his fangs and lashed out at others, even as a victor, he was punished harshly through whippings, dunkings(into pots of water) and public beatings. The tribe had a very unique domination system, in which those who proved themselves could ascend a level n the hierarchy if one were to challenge, defeat or dominate someone above them in significance. This system did not apply to Baxter merely for the grudge held against him by the alpha, and so the entire pack took advantage of this. Most often, he was dominated in public, demeaned through traditional slander such as desecrating his neck with marks of possession through deep and harsh biting. His neck and shoulders are covered in deep bite scars as a result. Instead of letting a poor self esteem and a unfortunate life get to him emotionally, he transferred all his emotional energies into tears of rage. The mistreatment and abuse of all kinds had only encouraged him into honing his strengths, weaknesses, and powers. Soon, those who dominated him became the dominated. Training himself and preparing himself for the age in which he'd be enlisted into the tribe's military had earned him the ability to fight for himself most barbarically, even to the point of critically wounding those who attempted to yet against sink their teeth into his flesh. This was when he had encountered the curse of loneliness. Instead of being assaulted, he was left alone and rarely spoken to. Those who did were often harmed by him as a result, and no one wished to step forward and deal with him knowing how mighty in power he had developed. Instead he was resented, feared and criticized from afar and in quiet. This was entirely fine to him. It was better than the vile things that were done to him. Shortly after being forced onto the battlefield, it seemed as though the alpha male and elders were trying to get him killed. The first few operations and battles he engaged in were long, grueling and entirely brutal skirmishes It was not normal for a recruit as young as him to be forced into such difficult conditions right off the bat, and yet despite the hardships he had prevailed in one piece to both the interest and disappointment of the superiors. War, to Baxter, was a vent for all the insufferable tragedies that befell him his entire life. Every enemy he killed was not so much a soul or a life he was taking, in his view. It was merely a target he was meant to tear into as many shreds as possible without the same happening to him. Baxter was used on battlefields, specializing in up-close-and-personal assaults. All of his rage and vengeance was channeled into every swipe and stab of his claw into the enemies heart. Battles left him smothered head to toe in blood, more than any of his pack mates. To be gruesome and ruthless was the motto of every Lupek warrior, but Baxter's was to be cruel, careless, and unrelenting to any odd; and he flipped bad odds every time he's met them. This disturbing strength and fearsome power of his appalled any comrade he had. However, Baxter was unaware that he had not even tasted the true flavor of war even with all that's he's done and experienced. The first time and last time he experienced war was when he had raided the village of an opposing native lycan people, and he watched as the blood of men, women, children and elderly fertilized the earth; and those who were spared or surrendered to the might of the Lupek were put through tortures of differing kinds based on the mood and duty of the raiding pack. Baxter had never felt fear, disgust or trauma more than when he had watched his pack mates rape, pillage, torture and far more. Eventually, the mix-breed broke. Baxter no longer could rekindle his desire to wage war and channel his troubles through senseless slaughter; not after what he saw. The fear of being put through the same hell those formerly innocent souls had gnawed at him, and drove him to vanish from an encampment one night into the darkness. It was quickly caught on that he had deserted, and there was no hesitation taken to dispatch hunters after him who have all been later discovered as unrecognizable messes. Baxter traveled for a long time after he had deserted, never able to full comprehend or recover from those experiences. Trauma has left him irritable, wary and distrusting of anyone. The man turned to a life of traveling aimlessly, dodging contact with other tribes or his own with the hope of settling down at some point, forming his own pack and claiming his own land so that he may call them the family he's never had, and protect them from his nightmares. misc Have some random facts about your character you want to share?
