Welcome to The Duality of Man, an original animanga role-play that features numerous supernatural creatures. Unfortunately, these various species have distanced themselves because of the war that occurred thousands of years ago, plaguing some with eyes that only see their dualism. While others meddle themself with their differences, two groups fight, each attempting to eliminate the other in for their definition of worldly peace. These two groups of the Terror Response Syndicate (TRS) and the Assembly of Phantoms (AP). With individuals fighting merely over their differences, it brings uncertainty to the outcome of this war.
We happily accept all role-players as long as they obey the rules and are capable of meeting our word count of 50. This does include those who are unfamiliar with this style of role-playing. The staff of The Duality of Man are willing to happily help those who are new to the role-playing world so they feel comfortable on site. Feel free to message the staff if you need help, they can be found here or in the site Discord and will gladly answer questions alongside calm concerns. If you have any suggestions we would love to hear them; guests may use the support board as a suggestion area as well. Should you decide to join, may I say welcome to the site and we all hope you enjoy your time here.
Yours Truely,
The Staff

Phoenix had just finished a job earlier today, on his way to the bar he had found alley and removed the cloak and hex so that he could look like his normal self. A citizen that was known as a magician, however nobody would be fearful of the guy who appeared to be no more than fourteen years of age. He slowly made his way towards The Golden Crown. He pulled the door open and walked inside. The place was packed but he strolled towards the counter, leaning against the counter as he waited for the bartender to notice that he was here. "Your a bit young to be ordering here" The bartender commented, thankfully they were familiar with Phoenix coming in enough to know that it was pointless to argue with him about the subject. Instead the comment was meant to mess with Phoenix. Phoenix couldn't help but eye roll as he watched the bartender grab the whiskey from the shelf and prepare him a glass. Phoenix pulled some cash from his wallet, sliding it to the bartender once his drink was set on the counter in front of him.
Once he had his drink, he turned around to see how many people were in the bar. It was too crowded for his liking, though when the door had been pushed open and some guy had come running, he couldn't help but feel somewhat interested in the reason for the sudden rush and why the hell anybody would think they'd be safer in a bar of all places. He finished his drink, setting it back on the counter he moved towards the entrance and opened the door to walk outside. So far so good, he didn't see anybody in sight. So why the hell that guy had run into the bar was beyond him. Of course it only took a few steps for him to figure out the reason for that guy choosing to run into the bar in the first place. There was no mistaking the AP member who was only a few feet away from him, Murder Doll. If I had known he was over here, I would have gone out the back door.... not that they'd be happy about it but at least I would have avoided all of this.... He thought to himself, somewhat annoyed that he had bad timing to exit the bar.
Jaxx didn't understand why, but he felt almost thrilled whenever his targets ran away from him at the mere glimpse. It would be so much simpler if he had taken them by surprise, assassinating them without so much as a stir or a flinch from them. Yet, Jaxx enjoyed experiencing their reactions to the face of their death, or the possibility of it happening. The cold serial killer has reveled the colorful array of gradient reactions; fear, anger, dismay, hopelessness, anger, rage, aggression... so many types of people and the one thing they all had in common was that they all perished inevitably. It made Jaxx ponder: what was the point in even reacting if it had no meaning on the outcome anyway?
The perfect weapon was enticed with this one. Instead of giving up, fighting back, or cowering in fear, he went in between all of these fight-or-flight results and instead decided to seek safety and security in the public; people whom he had no connection to, no significance to and was merely estranged from. "What could he possibly seek to receive from others?" the cloaked, hooded doll had mulled aloud just as he had been passing right by a acquaintance and comrade of his Master without fully realizing it, as he had been zoned out in thought and tunneling for his target. The attire he wore kept him well covered and incognito for now, so why should he be concerned about who sees him? The superhuman puppet would feel no differently even without a garb to maintain his anonymity.
With ease, a solid foot had smashed into the door as hard as a car into a building, not only blasting a hole through it but sending the door off it's hinges and bludgeoning a man on the far side of the room. Subtlety was simply not in the Murder Doll's nature... at least, when he felt like it was unnecessary.
Those big, cold and dead orbs scanned the room thoroughly, taking into consideration every object and obstacle as well as counting how many people were in the room. Hiding behind a large man was his target, peeking around their bicep at him with tear-filled eyes and yapping away in horrified blubbers about being hunted, going to die and in danger. Those with the hearts of stoics and vigilantes in the tavern glared at him.
"This observation is interesting," he thought to himself with intrigue. "Complete strangers helping other strangers despite not knowing a single thing about one another other than their life will soon be cut short. It appears the survival instinct of humans compels others to come to another's aid. Simply fascinating. Perhaps I would have been the same way?"
The largest of the men approached him, spouting out utter nonsense in the form of threats, questions, and insults. Little did he know that Jaxx was completely muting him out, hearing nothing but the flapping of his lips. As soon as the man stuck a muscular hand out towards him, Jaxx's own had moved on it's own and intercepted it with a bear claw upon the wrist. "I possess no grudge against you"-a bellow of agony rattled the tavern and the patrons to the bone, as Jaxx's wrist and hand rotated a full 360° and completely twisted the man's wrist and flesh to bloody uselessness-"but you're in my way."
The man shouted without end, demanding he let go. Around him, Jaxx noticed the others assuming a defensive position and his target retreated to a corner past them. "What a selfish human being... this is perhaps the most selfish behavior I have ever observed. Such will be made known." In a single and swift move, Jaxx's foot appeared from beneath his cloak as he twisted his body, slamming his foreleg into the man's waist and sending him off to the side and out of his way. The man's body dented the boards of the wall, and the way he hit, it was clear he'd have more than a broken hand. Jaxx regained his former stance, at complete ease, and stared dead into the eyes of the tavern's men.
"Feel free to take the time to make your decisions; whether to sacrifice yourself for that man, or let him b-"
Jaxx's hair stood on end, and with a thunderous roar, a blast of lightning was sent his way. One trigger was all it took, and Jaxx was leaned over with a pointed lightning-rod tearing through the cloak on his left shoulder. It absorbed the blast into it, and rendering it null. They watched in horror as the electric-negating piston submerged itself back into the cloak.
"... your decisions have been made. Allow me to present to you the consequence of this man's selfishness," he claimed, lifting back up straight before darting off towards the lightning-wielding mage.
An earthen spear was hurled towards him with a plausible preciseness, only to be caught mid-flight and used to skewer the lightning mage violently, spreading his life essence over the bar counter. Gasps and screams rang out, and anyone who had been smart and cowardly had fled the bar frantically, leaving only the bartender cowering beneath the counter, his target and the vigilantes. These events did not halt the Murder Doll's actions in the slightest, as he had already been tearing the spear out of the lightning mage's corpse and launching it with an excessive amount of force at the spear's conjurer and pinning him to the head by the wall.
The last man was shaken, by courageously stood his ground; and ripped the legs of a wooden table off, rubbing his hand across them and magically sharpening them to needle points. The man threw three of the stakes at him, to which Jaxx had used the mage's corpse as a fleshy shield as he had rushed the man down. The last stake was used as a weapon, brought down in an attempt to penetrate the man's spine only for him to find that the stake's tip snapped off completely upon making contact with him, stopping after getting through the fabric of his cloak.
Jaxx threw the corpse away and grabbed the last man by the throat with such force that it had already begun choking the life out of him. A click was heard from somewhere, followed by static, and the roaring discharged of electricity that roasted the man inside and out. Even if the man had been able to take the assault physically, there's no way his brain and nervous system could have withstood the electrical attack.
"Lightning based attacks generally don't affect me. I am not dependent on a nervous system nor is 60% of my body water," he noted matter-of-factually.
Dropping the body, he finally approached the man who appeared as though they were on the verge of a mental breakdown. The man was barely breathing as it was, and so he had simply grabbed him by the throat and asphyxiated him with a firm grip upon his throat.
"Humans can be so selfish, relying on others to fight for them. Lives were lost today merely because one could not accept death, and sought to bring others down with them," he lectured, not to his target but to the bartender who he was aware was hiding behind the counter.
As soon as his target had submitted to unconsciousness, he softened his grip, lowered him, and dragged him across the floor until he was outside of the tavern and looking around. There were very few people around anymore, but the ones who were around had immediately began fleeing as they saw him leave with a man dragging at his feet. "Wise," he mused, before noting a trailer truck heading down the road toward a green light. Jaxx took aim without even assuming a position, and forcefully chucked the unconscious target of his straight at the nose of the truck, letting it decimate him completely and send him about.
Knowing that interference would likely arrive very soon, Jaxx used the moment to enter the tavern once more, and help himself to the backdoor.
Phoenix couldn't help but feel pleased when Murder Doll has passed by him. He wouldn't have to worry about him today, or at least not right this second. He was preparing to leave when Murder Doll has gone inside the bar, within a few minutes screaming could be heard. He could only imagine what Murder Doll was doing in there. He had moved towards the backdoor, figuring that Murder Doll would be going out the same way that he had come in. He made his way towards the alley to pick up his cloak that he had dumped there earlier. If there was the slightest chance that he was going to become a possible target, he wanted to be ready. Once he had the cloak on himself, he pulled the hood up so that it would hide his face but didn't bother creating a hex to disguise himself. He slowly made his way back towards the bar, able to still hear screaming coming from inside of it. Who will make me a drink now? He thought to himself, clearly disappointed. A few more minutes passed by before Murder Doll had come out with the man who had ran into the bar, prior to him leaving. He watched as the man was tossed in front of a moving truck, not pleased to see him ripped apart but at least it was a quick death.
He glanced towards Murder Doll to see him going back inside. If I plan to leave, now would be the time to do it. He thought to himself, slowly moving away from the bar, figuring now would be as good as a time as any. He wasn't aware that Murder Doll has gone back inside, purely to exit from the back, if he had known, he would have picked a better location to stand in. Though before he made the effort to move, his cell phone had gone off. He sighed, yanking it from his pockets to see who was calling him. "Hello?" He answered, not amused that they had perfect timing to give him a phone call. "No you can not...." He ranted, still moving away from the bar. "I told you prior not to do anything stupid and what do you do? You completely did a stupid thing and now I have to go behind you and clean up!" He yelled into the phone, forgetting about Murder Doll for the moment. "No. I will do it myself sooner or later. You've done enough already." He snapped before hanging up the phone. He dialed another phone number. "Yeah, it is me. I need you do to me a favor."
He answered into the phone, he would glance around himself before being asked what the favor is. "Nevermind, I'll call you back." He was reminded that Murder Doll was around and this wasn't the time to be dealing with his assassin hobby, he would have to wait until he wasn't nearby anybody else before he could have a proper phone call. He blinked a few times as the noise of people approaching the area could be heard. Where the hell is Murder Doll? He heard a scream back at the bar. The evening rush just wanted to get some drinks, they hadn't expected to see the people that were dead. Well shit.. He wasn't sure how many people Murder Doll was handling, but there were a few running away from the bar and he had moved from his spot to advance towards them. He hadn't planned on helping Murder Doll out, hell, he doubted he needed any help at all, but here he was, standing here looking pretty and after the phone call, he was in a bad mood. After rushing towards the fleeing people, he created fire and threw it towards them, only slowing down when he managed to trap them on his side of the flame.
With how big it was, he knew they wouldn't be going anywhere. Of course now that he had chosen to attack them. He would likely be known as one who helped Murder Doll, unless of course they were dead, then there wouldn't be any proof on the subject. He withdrew a dagger under his cloak and slashed the bystanders with it. He watched them fall to the ground before turning around to check his surroundings. So far he didn't see any other person, which was good, now that he was alone, he could make his escape.
Jaxx had made a wise choice in choosing to leave through the backdoor of the bar, as the bartender had been too busy cowering in fear beneath the bar counter to be aware of what was further taking place around him, so it could be simply assume that he had left through the front than the back. If there were any investigation, they'd be mislead into thinking he left through the way in which he came; especially since nothing in the back of the bar was damaged yet the front door was completely destroyed. Authority would assume that there was some feeling, some motive and some point being made.
Oh, would they be mistaken. The unpredictability of Jaxx was one of if not the most dangerous parts of him. Every interaction as a risk taken by another person; the gamble of whether you'd live to tell the tale of your exchange with the Murder Doll or find yourself face to face with the rest of the unfortunate souls. This lack of reason and motive always successfully cowled every atrocity he's committed, and left few leads to his identity or locations. It was the inability to read the scenes that left the assumption that it was his work.
"The next person on my list, yes... a... a Derrick. Such an interesting name, wasted on mere fodder for gain," he commented lowly to himself, recalling the details he had memorized for this specific target.
The man would be on a honeymoon with his newly wedded wife soon, which would be the perfect opportunity to spill blood as he'd be isolated and consumed by the emotions of love and wishfulness. The client asked that the wife be left alive to grieve if possible, yet the way in which that was worded indicated it really didn't matter in the slightest if she were to perish as well.
"Marriage is a traditional ceremony among the mortal where a couple vows emotion, loyalty and fidelity to each other for the rest of their lives. In that case, perhaps it'd be best to kill them both fittingly?" he mulled, walking down the alley without even casting an eye to his surroundings.
Jaxx was halted by the disturbing sound of rage. Jaxx turned and looked over his shoulder to find a man near the mouth of the alleyway barking into a cellular device like a mad dog. It was a pity to whoever was the recipient, as they were being scolded harshly by this short male.
"They are unaware of my presence it seems... I recognize this voice somehow. I suppose there is no harm in approaching."
With a blank, empty expression on his face as always, he had stepped silently in the direction of the similarly garbed figure. The first things he could access of the person were that they had quite the temper for someone so small, and that they were capable of some kind of pyromancy judging by the magic they weaved; and had some skill with the blade, by the manner in which they had cut down innocents. It was almost like he was cleaning up after him.
Standing tall and silent, Jaxx stood behind and over him like death over the next mortal on its to-die list. Jaxx was right when he insisted he as familiar with this voice, as it was a individual whose appearance he was well acquainted with from their friendly relationship with his master. It was truly intriguing to him how coincidental these events can be, meeting yet another member of the Assembly of Phantoms unintentionally. While he cared little for the organization, he could care for this one specifically since his master knows them personally.
"Phoenix, if I recall? It's quite convenient, finding you here. It saves me an additional effort amongst my list," he said, dead eyes completely fixed on him as though they were staring straight through.
Phoenix was about to walk away, that is until he heard the voice coming from behind him. Where the hell did he come from? He thought to himself, debating on if he should answer or ignore him. With a sigh, he would turn around to face Jaxx. Being brave in front of him was hard, considering at any moment he could be attacked by him, but that was the price he paid for staying when he should have left earlier. "Speaking of your list... if I had known, I might have ordered more drinks first...." He countered, somewhat upset that the bar was a mess thanks to Jaxx killing them all. Was he hinting that I'm on his list? There is no way I'm going to let him kill me. He thought to himself, "About that list.... you forgot to put those fools on it." He was talking to the innocent people he had slaughtered only moments prior.
He wasn't about to admit that he killed them, but of course he had because Jaxx was standing here, meaning he likely saw that as well. Now lets see here.... My options are, to stand here and wait to see what happens or to start walking... He didn't want Jaxx to figure out his fear, it wasn't like Octavio was scared of him, far from it. It was just, Jaxx was called Murder Doll for a reason and he refused to be his next toy. He would slowly move to walk away from him. "So you'll have to remind me, why was it convenient to find me again?" He wasn't questioning the possible chance of being on his list, just the fact that if that were true, why the hell had it not happened yesterday or just earlier on in the week. Did he figure out what I did to Octavio? He thought to himself, still amused by the other of Octavio being changed into a girl.
Oh how it would amuse him to try and change Jaxx into a girl, maybe Octavio would freak out about that too. The real question is, what will happen to Yves if I do die? I don't have anybody available to protect him.... He thought to himself, sighing slightly. Once more his phone would beep, proving that he got a message from somebody. Hell, who is it this time? He wasn't willing to pull his phone out, heaven forbid Jaxx was behind him and able to possibly read the content. No, he would have to wait until after he made it out alive to find out who had bothered sending him a text message. "So how are you?" He would ask, changing the subject, the faster they got out of this area, the father both of them would dodge the crowd that was sure to follow as soon as they found out a murder had taken place here.
Jaxx tilted his head at Phoenix's words, mentally questioning his suggestion that those cowardly beings were also on his list. Surely, Jaxx would know who was and wasn't on his list as he had commonly created the list and accepted contracts for the list himself; aside from Octavio's orders. The Murder Doll's targets consisted of VIP characters throughout the city, suburbs and even the country side; as well as black market admins, associates and supports. Regular every-day people could easily be his target as well, those situations usually being whenever he accepts a random contract.
"I discriminately pursue my targets unless others stand in my way: then I will cut them down and make an example of them in order to deter future interference," he explained casually as to explain his reason for not cutting down the now smoldering crisps for humans.
Silence settled between them, without a word leaving either's lips. Jaxx was in thought the whole time, without a real subject to touch on with this man as he had never prepare himself for an exchange in the case that he did ever interact with Phoenix. Such behaviors were unnecessary and therefore not a priority.
"This is the one who, somehow, biologically transformed Master's body into the opposite sex," he thought to himself, watching the individual closely and studying any habits or quirks that he helplessly displayed. This thought led him to wondering whether such a thing was even possible with a inhuman monstrosity such as he, but such was irrelevant to the now.
The other had broke the silence, piping up a inquiry to his previous statement. Jaxx was a little caught from the question as he had not expected such a minor comment to become subject to questioning and reasoning.
"Why you ask? Or rather how?" he both addressed and corrected in a single phrase, lifting a hand out and seemingly reached out for Phoenix slowly, only to point over the male's shoulder in the end. The tip of his finger was guided attention to the smoking figures covered in ash and soot. "That is how. You had conveniently exterminated witnesses, had you not?"
It wasn't uncommon for people to be consumed with fear at the sight of Jaxx, even more so when he'd be this close and actually reach out towards them. People would piss themselves, shit themselves and everything in between when finding themselves face to face with him like this on such awkward terms. Jaxx wondered if Phoenix would be any different at all if he were heartless enough to offer those poor mortals such a crispy ending.
Regardless, Jaxx behaved as he wished and followed either impulse or logical thought. If they were to become scared of his actions, then that is their issue and theirs alone. While he preferred they not become unsettled by his presence or actions, he knew it was pointless to insist as humanoids could not control the strange phenomenons called 'emotions.'
"How am I, you ask?" he confirmed, slightly off-put by the question. "How do I answer such questions? I am inquired on my being like this so much and yet I do not have the preexisting knowledge to even know the answer to that. What is it that people say all the time? Oh, yes-""... good. That is the answer, right? That is a sufficient answer I believe," he stated.
The mass murderer had allowed a dreadful silence to sweep in and out for a few seconds, allowing him to think without a single expression in his body conveying such detail. Then, he forcefully returned,
"I suppose I should ask then, how are you on whatever errands you may be accomplishing out in public here?" he asked, ignoring the sounds of sirens screeching louder, and louder, and soon deafeningly loud. Jaxx was unfazed by such sounds and he was also not intimidated by the potential of law enforcements encroach upon the area.
Phoenix kept frowning, "Maybe so.... but doing it in the bar.... I won't be returning there for a while." He may have wanted his drinks but he wasn't going to linger around a scene where he knew death had accorded. No, it would be a while before he would return back here, even if people were going to replace the dead to keep the bar going. Jaxx was being too quiet and he couldn't help but wonder what he was thinking about. One had to be careful around Jaxx, it was very easy to become next on his list and he wanted nothing more then to stay as far away from it as much as possible. Phoenix found himself silent when Jaxx had asked why before changing it to how, his hand had reached out towards him and he couldn't help but force himself to stand still. He couldn't show fear in front of Jaxx, no, he wouldn't show fear in front of him. He was too prideful for that.
"It's a simple question, really." He answered back, well aware of Jaxx's emotions.... that was why he didn't want to be next on the list that he didn't want to be on in the first place. When Jaxx had pointed over his shoulder, he sighed slightly. It seemed Jaxx had found him from other methods other then being on his list. "Well I couldn't have them take notice after seeing me." He answered, making it seem like he hadn't known Jaxx to be here this whole time. "There is still a law we are expected to follow and killing them off gave me better chances then leaving them alive. If I had been smart, I would have left before they even showed up." He answered, knowing that the sentence had been somewhat messy, why would one worry about people noticing him if he hadn't known about Jaxx being here in the first place, he was counting on Jaxx not to notice.
"I mean look at this outfit.... what would you think if you had seen it?" He didn't like how his last sentence had been finished, so he was just giving a further explanation for Jaxx to hopefully believe that he hadn't been aware that he had been here, that his actions had been because he didn't want anybody seeing him with this cloak on. Of course that would leave the question on how he would react to Jaxx seeing him like this, he would have no other choice. "But your fine.... I mean you seem to handle yourself just fine." He wasn't about to pick a fight with Jaxx. Murder Doll. It wasn't everyday that he got to see Jaxx and he hoped that he'd get extra chances despite wanting to see other people too. He had gone so long pretending to be a magician, surely Jaxx might have questions for why he wore a cloak, why he killed those people without hesitation. He had changed the subject to ask what Jaxx was thinking, his way of picking his brain.
He listened to Jaxx's question. Maybe an emotion answer was the wrong way about going to pick his brain, he would need to try a different question. Jaxx then asked his question, he grinned slightly. "I'm just peachy as can be...." He wasn't about to admit how frustrated he was, not in front of Jaxx. He then took this chance to ask his new question. "I mean, what are you thinking about?" He couldn't help but hope that Jaxx had other people on his mind for that list instead of himself.
Jaxx’s eyes did not seem to react to the farce that Phoenix had been sputtering out at him. There was not a single twitch of his body, nor a blink or a sound. There was only silence. It was this silent atmosphere about Jaxx that was so deadly, no one being able to predict his next move, action, thoughts or hear the sound of him approaching from behind for the kill.
When Jaxx processes things, he tended to work by word of mouth; one by one to be exact. A single word could change the percentage chance of any manner of response, physical or verbal, laid out for him to select. Even then, he had always been coolly calculating every single possible scenario to follow; like for example, one of his routes had been him brutally slaughtering the male before him and essentially turning him into a malformed corpse; but this route was a very rare possibility due to there being no real reason for him to do so, and his connection to his master. Another one had been for him simply walk away and ignore this individual, but it was very hard to do that when he had already engaged him.
Right now, he had already registered the likely bluff from them and therefore treated it as though he were already there consciously aware of his carnage within the bar. After all, there would have been no need to worry about being seen when the only thing these civilians would care about is getting the hell away from whatever abominable threat had been laying waste to lives. It wasn’t Jaxx’s style to call someone out on something though. His style was simply inducing the fearful anticipation into someone over their own fumbling of words.
”You are correct. I am fully capable of handling myself,” he stated with doubtless confidence. Jaxx has rarely found himself needing to exert his full potential, and whenever he has, he has ended up slaughtering countless innocent and friendly lives in the process of eliminating a single target. It was best for someone to lay down their life willingly or merely retreat alone and save themselves rather than hide behind others. Otherwise, there would be disastrous consequences. The events that unfolded in the bar are a prime example of this.
”Thinking?” The question made him pause and look over the male’s shoulder idly, hunting for a potential response. At the moment, he was thinking of many different things; most of which seemed unnecessary and inappropriate to voice. Amongst them being what he would do if this man turned on him, and how severe the consequences would be on them.
”I suppose… I am calculating every possible scenario from here on and ascertaining how I would handle these situations down to the very last detail. Most of them result in further bloodshed, unfortunately- of the other party’s,” he spoke honestly, however omitted critical details such as who the other party would be. ”Regardless, we may want to depart from this area if we are to continue our exchange. After all, I was not so gracefully discreet with carrying out my orders.”
Without even allowing the other to respond, he had already taken the lead by turning his back to the other and take point in their venture away by alley. Even the Murder Doll had the sense of what was likely the most viable decision in a situation like this. Overconfidence was likely to cause unnecessary defeat or tiresome skirmish, which he had not desire to deal with.
Phoenix should have known the answer that would come out of Jaxx's mouth but he had to ask it anyway. Maybe knowing he thought he could brace himself much better but then again, it gave him somewhat of an idea of what to expect from him. Despite Jaxx keeping it vague, he couldn't help but feel in the pit of his stomach that Jaxx was hinting at him. It wasn't like they were friends or anything, he just knew his master and frankly enjoyed having somebody around that enjoyed criminal acts just as much as himself. "I see." He answered, knowing that he was correct in assuming that distance from Jaxx was the best action. Though it was possible that his assassins might share a brutal fate if they met Jaxx, he made it quite clear that they shouldn't linger around dangerous AP members in the first place, just like they weren't supposed to linger nearby dangerous TRS members either.
When it came to contracts, he only handled out those he thought could be handled by the best assassins in his group or sometimes going as far as to do them himself, but even he wouldn't ever accept a contract to try and take out Murder Doll. He was sure there were plenty of people wishing to try and instead of taking those contracts he would kill the client instead just because it was always easier. Jaxx made a void point about them leaving the area. If it hadn't been for the fact he started talking to him he had planned on leaving earlier. "Sometimes things end messy, it happens." He mumbled, not judging Jaxx but he was ready to leave none the less. Jaxx had started walking away and he found himself slowly following after him.
I'll have to remind myself to find Octavio next time I plan on lingering around Jaxx. As much as I favor my alone time, I know I'm much safer when Octavio is around because I don't know what he is thinking. He thought to himself as he slowly trailed behind Jaxx. "If its all the time to you, I'm going to head out now." He didn't want to explain to Jaxx what he did for a living. Just like he was sure Jaxx had more people he'd want to eliminate anyway. He then cut his hand to create a hex circle before teleporting away.
